   We had a quiet table as requested and excellent service. We thought the cosmos, $19 were great, but the veal parm with a side of pasta (small portion) was just ok, and not worth the $50. We were surprised that it costs $10 to get bread. We didn’t order it but the neighboring table did, and it looked like 4 slices of Italian bread plus some garlic spread.

    We had the pre fix lunch with the calamari and Chicken Picatta. Both dishes were excellent. The spaghetti and short rib meatballs were delicious also. We did the 3 course veggie appetizer, which was delicious. The waitstaff is excellent and very efficient. The booths are cozy but a time bit small. I wish there was a place to hang up coats.

    It was AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back soon! My mom and I split the Fettuccine Bolognese and a Fennel pizza. It tasted like I was in Italy!

    This is now one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC. We went to NYC from Long Island to get my daughter a prom dress with my daughter and mother. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

    Reservations at 7, but arrived around 6 and we were graciously seated. Ambience 2nd to none, attentive service. My entree (roast chicken) was superb. My wife’s (chicken piccata) not what she expected. Good, just a bit of a surprise. Wonderful, post-theatre experience. We’d go again in a heartbeat.

    The service was AWFUL. I took friends there from out of town and I was embarrassed — out waiter disappeared. We asked servers for help, just honey for yogurt and salt & pepper, none came. I finally snuck away and asked the restaurant host. We had help for a minute and then they were gone. So much for getting coffee… Was it because we were 5 women? Or are the servers burnt out? Regardless, the restaurant is resting on its laurels.

    Cafe Fiorello is our go-to restaurant before performances at Lincoln Center. The food is delicious and, despite being a very busy restaurant, the service is always great. They even come around with trays of free cookies. A nice place to dine, you can’t go wrong.

    This is our go-to after opera or nyp Phil outing. Old school ambience with impeccable service. I always enjoy my time here. Our waiter was extra attentive this time around, really pleased my parents. Sometimes I feel like the veal chop Milanese can be little thicker (thin=dry) but otherwise, just terrific.

    I have such fond memories of Cafe Fiorello over the years but sadly yesterdays meal did not bring them back. Our server seemed to forget we were there, the artichoke appetizer was soggy and our veal Milanese was sadly boring. At least the garlic bread was great! The only saving grace of our meal.

    We had brunch at Fiorello’s and loved it. I recommend the artichoke frittata as well as the sausage, broccolini and cheddar omelet. Always great service and a delightful atmosphere.

    Fiorello is our go-to for Lincoln Center performances. We love the sidewalk cafe, which is covered and heated. We also love the servers: They are cheerful and attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and they know how to get you to your performance on time. The menu is extensive, and the food is always excellent. The fried artichokes alla giudia, selections from the vegetable bar, fried calamari, Fiorello lasagna, and any of the veal dishes are our usual choices. I’m sure there are many more wonderful dishes that we haven’t tried. Yesterday they had soft shell crabs as a special. I ordered it, expecting the usual two small crabs that most restaurants serve. The two crabs were enormous, and the lemony butter preparation was delicious! Dear reader, I devoured it all, except for a small bite that I shared with my husband, who was busy gobbling up his veal cutlet with burrito and pepperoni. Did I mention that the portions are huge?

    We had a 6:45pm rez but got to the venue early. The maitre d’ was kind enough to find a table for us 30 minutes early. Small table but fine for 2. My friend had excellent ravioli and I had penne-shrimp diavola. That could have been a bit spicier for my tastes. All in all, a very nice dining experience.

    My birthday celebration at Cafe Fiorello was, as always, delightful. The four of us were lucky enough to get a table on the little balcony, which was more isolated and quiet. Our server, Valentino, could not have been better.. My only quibble was that they sang Happy Birthday to me, which I had asked they not do. But if that's the worst thing about the evening, it's fine. I am a regular at Fiorello, living in the neighborhood. It's always worth a visit.

    Opens at noon, excellent food, Excellent service. Went to see a Broadway show at the Vivienne Beaumont Theater. Convenient walking distance. Easy to make reservations. Highly recommend!
