What an incredible experience! We booked our table here while searching for a restaurant in the Cobourg/Pt Hope area. Did not disappoint! Food was lovely - real Ukrainian food isn’t something you find every day. Service was outstanding and very friendly. Definitely will be back.

The restaurant is a small space, no avoiding that, but the food and service were great. Some of our party were new to the menu and our server was quick to explain and offer suggestions. Our meal was served hot and in good time. We had brunch, no dessert but all of our meal was delicious.

I was taking a friend of mine who was visiting from Ottawa for dinner and somehow found Cafe Lviv on a "places you might be interested in". Well, was I interested because my friend's Mother was Ukrainian and she always talked about her grandmothers cooking. I was a little worried that it might not be "old school" cooking but she was absolutely amazed. It was exactly as she remembered her grandmothers cooking. She had the beet soup and I had the beet salad to start. Then we shared perogies, potato pancakes and cabbage rolls. We were happily stuffed and had no room for dessert....but they did sound "heavenly". I will definitely be telling my friends about it and I will definitely be back with my family.

Cafe Lviv serves great Ukrainian food at a reasonable price with truly welcoming and friendly service. My dinner was piping hot right down to the bottom of the bowl and so tasty! I will certainly be back to sample their other menu options ( loved the Napoleon!!)

I thought it was great! The ambiance was good, service was very friendly. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. The only negative I could find was that our four meals weren't served at the same time. One plate was served well ahead of the next two and three of us were halfway finished our meals before the last arrived.

A small group (8) of us had dinner at Cafe Lviv … DELICIOUS and service was on point! Everyone enjoyed their dinner (and dessert 😉). They even sat us in their upstairs area so our group was separate from the other diners. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the quality of their ingredients and the love that goes into their cooking & preparation.

Perfect evening. My skin is still tingling from one of the Ukaranian guests singing with the best baratone voice that filled the room. It was joyful and heart warming. Let us not forget the strife and be thankful.

This is my second visit to Lviv. Overall, it is a very colourful experience. The Ukrainian dishes are exceptional. The staff is so friendly and obviously enjoy being there. Highly recommended.

This is a cozy restaurant with authentic Ukrainian cuisine. We ordered a brocht and two dumplings. They were all very delicious. Our server was very friendly and charming. Would definitely come back for their fall menu.

This place is a jewel. Very authentic Ukrainian/Eastern European cuisine. Some of the best cabbage rolls I’ve ever tasted. The service was fantastic: super friendly and fun. They had a good wine selection, as well.

Went for dinner with a friend for my birthday. Beautiful decor, attentive service, excellent home style fresh food. They were even kind enough to bring out a small cake my friend had smuggled in as a surprise & sang Happy Birthday to me. Most enjoyable!

great restaurant - highly recommend -service was fast and all of my questions around the food were answered. Good selection of wine including Georgian wines and the food was great. I had borsch and banosh - both were very tasty. The soup portions are large and taste just like home.

the restaurant is very pleasant, but the scenery is not at all in the Ukrainian style, as well as the clothes of the waiters. price too high for a place like this. lacks the Ukrainian atmosphere. Borscht is great!

We were greeted, by an attentive server, who was helpful in explaining the menu to one not versed in Ukrainian food. Food was delicious, portions were ample, and presentation delightful. We will return, to expand our knowledge of the rest of the menu.

It was a fabulous night. Right from when we walked in the door we were welcomed and made to feel right at home. The waitresses were all lovely, helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, prompt and left feeling very satisfied. The restaurant is super cute, beautifully decorated and clean. Menu was easy to read, and perfect amount to choose from. Everyone found something they liked. Would recommend and can’t wait to go back.

This is my third visit to the cafe for lunch and as usual everything was perfect, almost. I could have done without the table of four extremely loud people. Seriously, my guest and I could not hear each other speak so conversation was almost impossible until they left after about 30 minutes. I don't think it would be beyond the rules of Hospitality to remind people that this is an elegant cafe, not a sports arena. From my experience this situation is not the norm at Cafe Lviv. It will not deter me from coming again.
