Because of the great reviews on Cafe Lviv, I made a reservation for after a show. Cafe Lviv did not disappoint. My 92 year old mother & I shared our meal. We started with the mushroom soup which was fabulous. This was absolutely the best mushroom soup that I have ever tasted. We had the cabbage rolls & an apple & cinnamon crepe. our meal was excellent and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant.

We had an amazing meal at Cafe Lviv: four kinds of varenyky (perogies) and deruny (potato pancakes) to start, followed by chicken Kyiv, schnitzel, meat and vegetarian cabbage rolls, and Ukrainian beef goulash!! We shared all of the dishes so we could get a taste of everything, and we weren't disappointed. Everything tasted fresh and authentic (according to one of our party who grew up eating her mother's Ukrainian home cooking), and there wasn't a scrap left on any plate, though none of us were left hungry. My personal favourites were the schnitzel and goulash, but it would be hard to visit without tasting the classic potato pancakes, perogies and cabbage rolls, which were incredible as well...Of course there's always room for dessert! And the warm sour-cherry-filled varenyky were the perfect end to the meal. Highly recommended: great service, relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food

Took my family out for a great dinner. It was marvellous, my teenage nieces just loved it. The service as usual was exceptional. Love this place,

Very attentive service and the food outstanding. Gluten free options were very accommodating. They also went an extra mile to make lunch very special.

This is my favourite restaurant in Port Hope. The food is superb. The borscht tastes just like my Baba used to make. Every dish is beautifully prepared and delicious and the staff are efficient and friendly. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, any reason is a reason to go. They are a gem of our community.
