   It was a perfect meal experience for our 20th anniversary. We both loved everything about it and highly recommend Cafe Monarch as the best dining experience in Phoenix, for those looking for something extraordinary,and those who remember the way great restaurants used to be before everything became steak houses and resort-relaxed. We will be going back many more times in the future for special occasions or when we miss truly fine dining.    Absolutely thee best culinary experience of my life. We went “ all in” on the eight course menu with the nice wines. Expensive but totally worth it. The most beautiful, well thought out design and decorations. The staff was so professional, knowledgeable and gracious.    Arizona is so lucky to have Cafe Monarch! Great place for special occasions! We come here for birthdays, anniversaries and anytime that warrants a nice treat! 4-Course meal is definite must try! The service is amazing from the hostess stand to the dining room! The personalized menu is a nice touch! Thank you! Every dish is stunning, and described by every person who brings it out.     An unbelievably amazing experience. This was the dinner where I officially “popped the question”. The atmosphere was perfectly romantic, the food was to die-for, and the service… just absolutely STELLAR – probably the best I have ever had ANYWHERE.     The food was excellent and service impeccable. Giovanni (Server) and Ned (Server Assistant) were on point. We did not catch the food runners name, but he did an excellent job explaining each of the items we selected. From the time we entered until we left, everyone was very friendly and thanked us for coming. I do believe it is the small things that separate the good from the great.     This is one of the few fine dining restaurants in the greater Phoenix area. We went here for our wedding anniversary at the rent commendation of colleagues. The ambiance was a little overboard for me. Lots of decorations, fake plants and such. The service was great but I found it strange that there was not a single female to be seen other than at the host stand. The food was good and well executed but each dish has 7 to 10 ingredients. Would that many competing flavors? It's hard to really focus or feature a particular item or ingredient. They all sort of blend together. I do give them extra credit for having an awesome zero proof drink menu! The Hiramasa al Pastor was a highlight as well as the lamb chops.

    Of all the restaurants I've booked through OpenTable, none of them have lived up to the standard that Cafe Monarch has. The ambience was gorgeous. We sat outside on the patio and the setting was romantic. The food was absolutely delicious. My favorite course was the Argentinian shrimp and it was easily the best shrimp I've ever had. The staff was what really made the experience an unforgettable one. I had the pleasure of having Michael as my waiter and was attended by Curt, Nick, and Chalen. They went above and beyond and made this dining experience a memorable one. There is no doubt that I will return to this establishment.

    This was our first time dining at Cafe Monarch and went in with high expectations that were absolutely met. The food and service were extraordinary . Each course provided the right amount to allow you to enjoy it while still leaving room for the next. The timing between was perfect. I highly recommend the caviar to begin the meal.     We did thr 8 course tasting, the first 4 courses were OUTSTANDING! The meat courses left a little to be desired. The lamb was over cooked as was the pork. Thr shining star was the Miso cod, I will be back for that!!

    One of the BEST restaurant experiences we had in our entire life! We have traveled the world dined at Michelin star restaurants and this was the best!!!!! Our waiter Giovanni (the American one since there are 2) was the best ever!!!!!! If you are looking for a night to remember forever - looking to impress forever..... this is the place.     Most amazing experience, worth every penny. We had Kyle as our server & he did an excellent job educating us on so many aspects from the food, wine, & establishment. Super knowledgeable staff all around that made us feel so catered to. Ambiance was beautiful. Chef created the most incredible vegan foods, such a phenomenal fine dining experience. Was thrilled for me to feel included having vegan fine dining that was very thought out, I appreciate Chef for being flexible in creating dishes that fit my needs. So much flavor in every bite!     Old customer here; reconsidering for next time! Been going to Café Monarch since moving to North Scottsdale a few years back and for the first time, I can say the value proposition has tipped for me. To the point, that I will reconsider my choice for future celebrations or business dinners. 🤔 The quality of the food and service remain top notch though!

    Went for a double birthday dinner with brother and his wife at the chefs reserve table. Did not disappoint. Was so much fun. The waiter was very helpful and explained everything. We met the chef and got a picture with him, which was great. Can't pinpoint the best of the eight courses as 6 tied for first. Didn't get the wine pairings, but the wine the waiter recommended for our coursed were fantastic. Highly recommend.

    We had a wonderful retirement celebration with good food and drinks. Our server was well educated on the food and bar menu. It was a relaxing dining experience and never felt rushed. We were seated at about table of 4 in the middle of the restaurant, so it did get a bit noisy. Our only issue is there is only one female bathroom for a very busy Saturday night and the line to wait is in their small bar area.

    This is a hidden gem in Scottsdale. I've been living in the valley since 2005 and never heard of this place until now. We took my Mother here for an early Mother's Day celebration. The courtyard entrance is beautiful and welcoming. The ambiance is beautiful. The staff is top notch and the food is AMAZING my friends. We tried the 8 course meal and it did not disappoint.
