We love this neighbourhood gem. Yes, gem might be a bit trite to say, but the food is great and we get the opportunity to practice our broken French. It's close by, so we can walk there, mouths watering, as we talk about what we plan to eat. The onion soup is wonderful, and the lamb chops divine. The only glitch is in getting our bill after our meal...it seemed to take forever. That said, we will return again and again.

Food was outstanding. As someone with food allergies and gluten sensitive they were incredibly helpful. There was a large selection and it turned out there was only one main dish that I couldn't eat! I would go back there any time. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and it’s never let me down. Although the servers seemed to be very busy and running they still found time to remember it was my friend’s birthday and brought us the dessert we ordered which had a lit birthday candle in it. A very nice touch. Given tne number of reservations they had, they may have arranged for one more staff member. We’ll go back to celebrate events as gain

The owners change but everything is still the same. The menu is still the same and the painting of TinTin is still there. Good quality is still amazing. You must try the mussels!

When we arrived, our table wasn't ready. So they moved some tables to create a spot for us next to the entrance in front of the restaurant. We didn't stress about it, but at the same time, odd place to be seated considering there were seats by the wall. We just assumed other reservations had those spots, but later we found it, they were not reserved. When other guests arrived, it was awkward because when servers walked by, they were close enough to bump into us. On one occasion, the server leaned back, but I anticipated his movements and avoided a collision. Unfortunately for the other table, the server had spilled something on them. The restaurant seemed more disorganized than usual that night. It's never the smoothest ship on its good days, but it seemed off compared to the four other times I dined there. We heard and saw lots of tables and chairs being dragged around during service and cutlery dropped on the ground. Our appetizer of roasted Romaine was delicious. The Ribeye I had ordered with a side of risotto came with potatoes instead, but I didn't send it back, because I forgot I had ordered it and had already started my meal after a wait. The steak was cooked medium well versus medium rare as I requested. The steak's peppercorn rub was a bit overbearing and bitter compared to the other times I've dined there. The mussels and fries were delicious. The Baked Alaska was undercooked, so we asked for a replacement of Creme Brulee where only 80% of the surface was carmelized-delicious nonetheless. We were still charged for the replacement dessert, but that was expected. Despite having a very polite server, he didn't really know the menu and had to ask his colleagues questions. Compared to similarly priced restaurants, such as Les Faux Bourgeois, the service and ambiance was not nearly as good. We noted in the reservation that our dinner was for our anniversary, but it seemed like no effort was made to make it special.
