   Overall I would say very satisfied. Two things stand out as inconsistent. The wine we ordered is a 2018 on the menu and we received a 2020, but wine was ok. My dry aged ribeye was not a ribeye. It was a striploin. The staff assured me it was a ribeye, but no way!

   First time eating at Cagney’s. Gabby, our waitress, was both attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of our evening. The food was delicious, our steaks cooked perfectly and our courses delivered promptly. It was not too busy, but the ambience from the fire and background noise made it feel very warm and cosy. Being helped with our coats at the end of the evening was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

    4 of us dining. We all had steak. All 4 steaks were over cooked - the New York strips being the worst. Asked for medium rare - got medium well. There’s just no excuse for this is a steakhouse. All the rest as in appetizers, drinks, etc were very good but when you can’t get the main course right, not good. Disappointed because we’ve been to Cagney’s many time before and this was an Anniversary dinner. It’ll be a while before we go back.

    Service could have been better. Long wait before anyone took the drinks order, or the order for any food/appetizers. And then appetizers arrived, but still waiting for drinks to arrive. Not a terrific experience 😳

    We were not impressed. This restaurant is very expensive and the food is not good. The $62 steak was dry and the salmon was overcooked. Their $16 Caesar salad is nothing special. It used to be a signature item for them, but no more. The 2 Entrées arrived, and we waited almost 10 minutes for the other two.We also received our desserts staggered. Two arrived, and we waited 10 minutes for the other two. When our specialty coffees finally arrived, they were cold. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

    Expensive for the portions served overall, limited menu on Valentine’s Day so you have to eat only what is offered.

    Made a Valentine's Day reservation and there was no mention of a pre-fixed menu and then when we show up, there is and it's $85 per person. Our server was decent, she made kind of a rude comment to my husband due to his picky palate (lol). Someone brought our steaks to our table without a word and we were left without steak knives for a good couple of minutes before we flagged down the manager. Overall the food was ok, we both asked for medium rare and got blue-rare instead, but they cooked it more for me when requested (except she didn't do a 2-bite check so we were like almost done our meals when she came by). I honestly think that they should convert this place into something more casual and that fits with being connected/right beside a bowling alley in a strip mall. It doesn't have wine-bar/steak-house vibes.

    Very very very pricy in Valentine’s Day. Great atmosphere and solid food. We go there every few months. But again be prepared for the prices. It is what it is. You have to pay for quality.

    This place never disappoints. Food is always terrific 👌 😋 service top notch, especially Gabby, our server/bartender, and Glen, the manager, asking if we needed anything Definitely and go to on Friday or Saturday night if you're in the Mississauga Streetsville area 😀

    Ambiance is beautiful. Atmosphere and music is 10/10. I really enjoyed my night here. However, the service was mediocre. Drinks where amazing. Food was below standards. It was like ordering a steak from moxies. You cannot menu your items as a la carte but serve the food as 1 meal. I purchased a ribeye which was bland and cut thin. Was not expecting that. My mash potatoes where bland, not even garlic powder was sprinkled in there and disappointedly served on my plate as if it was apart of the meal but I was charged $9 for it as a separate dish. Overall 3/10.

    Noisy restaurant with nothing to speak of off, fancy food. Literally the mushrooms with my steak and the Buffallo Mozz salad was my favourite part of the meal. The steak...all came well done and was like rubber by the time it hit the table, even the medium rare. They gave us almost expired nasty frozen Walmart cheesecake for my friends birthday shout out. I mean, I'll pay for it, it doesn't have to be complimentary- atleast bring us edible cake from a nice bakery or so! And server, bless her soul, she tried her best to keep up bur there was a lot going on for us to get real attention from the wait staff. Over all: I'll give this one a skip and head elsewhere for the same price point and experience (like the one that rhymes with Leg)

    The Oysters were Awesome. I ordered a $66 dollar steak that was definitely purchased at Loblaws or Metro. The fact I had to pay an additional 18.00 for a potato and 5 pieces of asparagus. Grrr I cannot say enough of how over priced it is. WAY OVERPRICED!!!!

    Unfortunately our experiences was diminished the moment the manager decided to speak to us about tips amount. Not taking note that my drink had to be made twice (he tasted them). Food was cold, our server felt rushed due to the lack of workers and her tables.

    The problems started when we first arrived. The access to the reception podium had many people who were lingering after there dinner on their way out. Couldn’t get to the podium to announce ourselves but the manager saw us and saved us from any further delay. Getting attention from our server was quite a task and waited considerable time to get our order. Ordered a Greek salad on the menu that did not list the mixed greens at all and when it arrived was the main ingredient and clearly not a Greek salad. Ordered a $66 16 oz boneless ribeye medium, $9 asparagus, $9 mashed potatoes , 2 x $10 jumbo grilled shrimp and $9 French fries all to be shared as the standard for a steakhouse that does not include sides is family style shareable sides including the steak which should have been cut and shareable as well. Two heated plates should have been provided for us. Here is where things really went sideways. Steak, 2 shrimp, mashed potatoes and asparagus were served on a single dish and the fries which came about 5 minutes later were on a side plate. We had to ask for two heated plates. We asked why we received only 4 skinny asparagus at the cost of $9 and why it was the entire meal was set up shareable. Server stated this was how the restaurant serves there sides. My wife said she was at the restaurant with 2 other people and this was not the case and all sides were served as shareable in December 2022, a month earlier. The server maintained he had been working since July 2022 and this was not the case. We asked why the steak was rare and not medium as we requested. The server agreed and saw we didn’t eat 3/4 of the steak and asked if we wanted to talk to a manager? We said no because in our minds if enough red flags… We ordered Sauvignon Blanc and was told he would check to see if they had any as they ran out yesterday, Friday. A restaurant that is located next to an LCBO out of Sauvignon Blanc. We were forced to accept a Chardonnay. Terrible $250 meal!

    Made a reservation requested special seating in the restaurant. When I arrived there was a bit of confusion on where I wanted to sit. The hostess was annoyed and rolled her eyes to another employee when I stated where I was hoping to be seated. Been to Cagneys several times in the past and would never expect this kind of treatment when you spend at least 300.00 dollars on dinner. Sad my date had to experience this on her first time coming to the restaurant.

    ALWAYS delicious. Can't go wrong. Nice place for romantic meal or small get togethers. Beautiful decor! Staff are always great! Wish there were more drink specials as a little pricey. That said, There Tirmasutini and Gigi is "wow"!

    First time - amazing experience. Brenda (server) was on point - very attentive, as was Greg (manager). Had only read a few reviews and saw pictures and it did not disappoint. Saganaki (grilled cheese) an absolute must. Impressive wine list and perfect portion sizes. Will be back!

    What a special way to spend an anniversary! Great service, tasty food and generous portions! The kitchen was very accommodating and dished out some incredible meals, beginning with fried calamari, followed by mussels, and then our mains: crab cakes and the veal chop parm. Our server was attentive and very friendly. This was a bit of a splurge dinner for us but well worth it!
