Amazing service, food and wine . Cala Bella at Rosen Shingle Creek is a hidden jewel. From the instant you are greeted , it’s a true gastronomic experience. The chef even visited our table. Want to impress a date, and have out of this world food , reserve your table at CALA BELLA, Rosen Shingle Creek. The hibiscus beet and goat cheese salad, and grouper entree (fresh catch) just amazing tastes.

This place was so much better than I expected for an Italian food restaurant in a hotel. First let me say that our waitress was amazing! We ate the Charred Octopus appetizer, the Local Catch special, and I had the Oxtail Fettuccine. I used bread to make sure none of the sauce was wasted from my pasta dish. All the food was top notch and the portion sizes perfect. I was very, very impressed with my overall experience. I would definitely repeat!!

This was my 3rd visit here and again they did not disappoint! I we started with the Cast Iron Roasted Tomino Cheese which was served with crusty bread,the Manti (a dumpling dish) and the Beef Carpaccio. All fabulous! For our Entrees we had the Lamp (unbelievably good), the Linguini Cacio, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. All fabulous! For our Dolce we had the Pistachio Cheesecake! Everything was washed down with a beautiful robust Pinot Noir. The ambiance is wonderful and our server, Lizzie was amazing and very attentive to our needs. I truly believe this is the BEST restaurant in the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. I will definitely be back on our next visit here.

This is a lovey restaurant in a beautiful hotel. We have eaten here previously and it was great. The new menu is very strange and the options just do not fit together. Every item is strangely paired with odd partners. Italian is easy and trying to change that is not working here. We would recommend based on the current menu.

The food was delicious. I do not think that there is good management. If you have an issue they are not very helpful. They are not knowledgeable of the menu either. I did not give the food full five stars because the chocolate crème brûlée was not really crème brûlée. There was no crispy top. I did not complain because I already had poor experience with management so didn’t think they would care.

We dined here with the Magical Dining menu. Food was delicious. The grilled octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked. Pork chop was sooo flavorful. And the chocolate creme brulee was amazing! On top of that, the service was on point. Our only complaint may be the ambience. For the quality (and price!) of the food and the level of service given by the waitstaff, we expected the restaurant to have a fine dining vibe. But it was too brightly lit and something about it felt almost cafeteria-like. Because of that alone, we may not visit again.

Excellent food and top notch service! I had the local catch which was grouper served with roasted corn risotto. It was perfectly seasoned and the portion was so large I had to take more than half home. As an appetizer the charred octopus is outstanding. Everyone in our party of 5 raved about their own dish, but the charred octopus definitely was a favorite for all. This is a place I will return to again and recommend to anyone looking to experience a nice, quiet dinner with wonderful food and service to match.

You cannot get a better dining experience at any price in my opinion. Farm to table food prepared as you watch. Recipes that are tried and true with chefs and assistants that are on point, ready to make the experience what good dining experience is supposed to be. 100% recommended. I’ve eaten here every night of my stay. It’s AMAZING…

We decided to come here for my husbands birthday and for the magical dining and it was perfect. Tried octopus for the first time and it won’t be the last. Valet parking was free since we were eating at the restaurant and the food was chefs kiss.

My wife and I went for magical dining. All three courses (smoked octopus appetizer, pork chop/swordfish entrees, and chocolate creme brulee/latte tiramisu desserts) were outstanding. The service was excellent, the ambience was very nice, and although the restaurant is quite large, there were only a few tables occupied so it was very quiet and intimate. An affordable bottle of wine and validated valet parking were a nice surprise. An outstanding meal and experience for an excellent price.

We have dined here several times previously, usually during an annual real estate conference. This time we were pleased Cala Bella was not crowded. We were seated promptly at a nice table for two by a window. Out server was delightful with a great sense of humor. The food, as always, was top notch.

We completely enjoyed our dinner. The appetizer board was huge and ample food for a meal for 2. It was delicious. Our server packaged half to take with us so we could eat our main courses. Two different pasta entrees were amazing and large portions. Our server was delightful and very helpful. We plan to visit again next time we are here.
