A great night, thanks CCC!
Busy, good energy. Extremely professional service. They've got it dialed in. The tasting menu was soo good, variety excellent and didn't have to decipher a menu that way. Good value as well.
Ok to experience once. I thought the portions were small for what it cost. Our server was good . I have had way better rice pudding and kulfi elsewhere. This was too salty for a sweet dessert. We were celebrating a bday , and nothing complimentary.
Cocktails were good . The mango
With gin and lemon warmed me up
Dinner was fabulou! Can't wait til the next time. Food was very tasty and came out fast and hot.
I suspect they were short staffed FOH, but we waited a long time to get orders in. Glasses say empty more often than not. Went for brunch & everything was tasty.
Exceptional service and very good food. Very enjoyable.
I was not aware it’s a pub rather than a family restaurant
This is a fun Indian Restaurant with great food and great service. It is noisy when it’s busy but that’s part of the ambiance. Great value with a fabulous decor.
The weekend Brunch is amazing! Food is delicious, service is great and the brunch price is right! Will be back!
Loved the food, servive and atmosphere. One of the most happening places in Calgary.
Everything was great as always except for the beef curry (underwhelming) and the mishti doi... well, it wasn't mishti doi due to whatever fusion attempt.
This was our first time being here and the food and cocktails were great! Perfect for sharing and very delicious. Also loved the decor. Will definitely be back again to try more.
4 dudes went for dinner and we tried a little of everything, sharing enough to get our fill from all corners of the menu. The place is a trendy and happening spot and we were pleasantly surprised to find they serve a fair amount of their "on tap" beer by the pitcher.
Food was at best, ok - not worth the price though. $150 for 5 plates of cumin covered something. Virtually no variety in flavours across three courses. And way too much salt in everything.
The chips and curry were the highlight but the mains and rest of the apps were a let down. Cocktails were pretty good but you also pay for them. Just bad value overall.
Outstanding food and ambience. I’ve been here several times and I always look forward to going back.
I have been to CCC a few times for dinner and once for brunch. Dinner is much better ( and highly recommended) than brunch but brunch is overall good value for money. Overall, a must visit if you are a fan of Indian food.
Outstanding food! Would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks CCC
There was a large group booking that was just settling in when we arrived. The noise from this group was sooooo loud we couldn’t talk to one another. I would suggest that this restaurant is not really set up for such large parties. It was disruptive to what would have been an amazing meal. Food was great. But noise level beyond ridiculous.
Excellent!! Love the food and the restaurant is gorgeous!
Very friendly spot! Kind, friendly hostess and personable, attentive, knowledgeable serving staff. Delicious food! The two of us each chose the 3 course tasting meal. Perfect portion sizes and wonderful variety of curry and chutneys. The atmosphere was lively and the decor inspired. I most certainly recommend Calcutta Cricket Club to anyone who wants a memorable dining experience. I will definitely dine here again!
The food was very spicy with no indication on the menu of spice level. Yes it’s Indian food, and I found it really good, but three people in my party were more sensitive to heat and the food was just too spicy for them. The noise level was extremely high, which made it difficult to converse with each other. The quality of the food was high. Service was average.
Family Breakfast...:.as always great!!
Enjoyed the ambiance. Warm friendly atmosphere. Attentive waiter, didn't rush us, very helpful. Food was different, but good. I would go again.
First time and I will be back for sure! So delicious. We had the tasting menu and it was definitely worth it. A great selection and everything had such amazing flavor.
Loved the atmosphere and food, cauliflower was a miss but everything else was amazing. I did have a hair in my rice pudding but they didn’t charge me for it.
SO Delicious! I've been meaning to make it here for a while now, and am so glad I finally did. Our server was the sweetest, the food was amazing, and flavourful, and the custom cocktails were scrumptious!
We popped in for a quite dinner and had another great experience. The food was extremely quick to come out this time, and was delicious as always. We always go for the Dal & rice, we ended up trying the gunpowder vegetables, which we were not very happy with. It was only what looked like squash, which was delicious but it was only one vegetable, vegatable(s). We were hoping for a bit more variety, and the portion was quite small.
I ended up trying the tandori chicken kati roll which was delicious as well. I would definitel reccomend this as well.
I came here for the first time and was so happy I did. The service was good, the food was good, and I would return. One note I have would be that the Chips and Curry was too salty. The flavour of the curry is enough that you don’t need to over salt the fries. Otherwise everything was great. The naan was delicious and so were the other dishes.
Such a cool & innovative spot. Definitely outside the box when it comes to Indian food. A superb & very unique experience.
Fabulous! Loved this place. Food was, indeed, outstanding and service top-notch. A little pricey but can't wait to go again. Great restaurant!
loved your kulfi and papri chaat. It is a great place to visit!
My boyfriend and I went for brunch to celebrate our anniversary. I had mentioned this on our reservation and asked if they could do a small special something and they surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne! I also have a nut allergy and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Overall great, friendly service, and of course the food was amazing too - chai pancakes and curry and chips.
Dinner with friends
Great Food good for sharing . The food was very fresh and the spices were so delicious.
This was our second visit to CCC. We were not familiar with the portion sizes and our server was helpful in guiding us through the menu.
The restaurant was not too busy, so not too noisy. When full, the hard surfaces make for a loud room-- although pretty in decor.
The fusion style of Indian cuisine is contemporary and approachable, and we enjoyed the flavours and spicing.
The wine pricing is annoyingly high-- the 9 oz wine glass offerings were all 22- 24$, and this is high within the comparable Calgary dining scene.
We loved the food , service and ambience......BUT. .... it was so loud that we could barely hear the people across the table from us.
We are in our early 30s and are not usually unable to hear in a restaurant. Is there anything you can do to reduce the ambient noise?
Excellent! Great food and amazing bartending staff. Great service.
Food is absolutely amazing you need to try the chili chicken and the cauliflower curry!
