    Service was great. Live music was good quality, but too loud. Overall I found the decorations were over the top and seemed out of place for a mountain resort. Would recommend for those looking for a modern "big city " experience.

    I have food sensitivities and the kitchen was very accommodating by being able to swap out sauces at no extra charge! The service was spot on and we have a lovely time. This was our second visit and we will definitely revisit Callisto's again.

    Beautiful venue and view. Worst tuna tacos I’ve ever had. The gal who brought our food was downright rude. When I mentioned that we had also ordered Parmesan fries to start her response was “they’re coming, they’re coming… I only have two hands!” I mentioned that we had planned to have them as our “started” a she said “that’s not how they were rung in”. ??! Thee fries were excellent. The tacos horrible. Our server was good and very polite and personable but at the end we sat for about 30 mins with no one checking on us and asking if we needed anything or our cheque. So much potential at this location but lots of room for improvement.

    The Thanksgiving Dinner was excellent…all three courses. Our service was severely lacking but the young woman was nice albeit brand new so we lingered and enjoyed the slow pace and poured our own champagne.

    No staff. Are waiter tried very hard to keep things on track. The were so short staffed it took over 30 minutes to get drinks with only around 30 people there. Fish had no seasoning and the pasta wasn't cooked. Had to return it. I want to state again it wasn't our waiters fault.

    Sunday brunch was outstanding, this is the first time I’ve tried salmon on eggs Benny and it was so delicious and the potatoes done nice and crispy. We also had the Avocado toast which was equally yummy . Got desert we had the Coconut crème brûlée with roasted pineapple and sorbet what a great combo . The ambience was stunning with hawks flying above the golf course

    We started with the warm olives and a lavender gin sour 💜both were delightful . My sister and I shared the halibut and the tenderloin . It was definitely the best I have had in a long time . The atmosphere is serene and Martyn’s service was impeccable. Highly recommend Callisto !

    Arrived for lunch at 1:30 to find only brunch menu. We were rushed to order because we were told kitchen closed at 2:15, (in a hotel?!), then waiter disappeared. We had to go looking for him. Food was ok but expensive even for a Westin Hotel. When finished we waited ages for waiter to return. Again we had to call him, breaking up a staff conversation to get service. It’s a decent spot but dining room is far too big for a cozy meal. It’ll be a long time before we return to what used to be a great lunch spot. This place needs far better management and better trained staff. Not to mention better info on its website. Thoroughly disappointing.

    Unfortunately they were making repairs to the sliding windows/doors when we were there and it was extremely loud. No one offered to reseat us into a quieter area. It was my graduation celebration and I was disappointed as it was hard to talk over the noise of drilling into steel.

    My husband and I live only 20 minutes away and had driven up to Bear Mtn. for a coffee and a walk about. While we were admiring the grounds around the Westin and the Golf Club we saw a banner that listed some Happy Hour specials that were served in the main dining room from 2:30-6:30 daily. We decided we would return for Happy Hour for dinner. We made a 4:15 reservation and arrived back to the Westin just ahead of the reservation. The dining room was almost empty and we were seated by the windows where we enjoyed a lovely view. We were given lunch and beverage menus and asked about the Happy Hour promotions. We were advised that the promos had expired for the general public and only members were able to continue to make use of the promos. We perused the menus and decided on wine and Waldorf salads as there were very limited gluten-free options. The wine was lovely. However, the salads were a costly letdown. Not an example of a Waldorf salad I had ever experienced. It consisted of a sprinkling of each of shaved celery, seedless grape halves and praline walnuts over a bed of various leafy greens. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient and the views were lovely but the food was disappointing.

    Gorgeous restaurant with a fantastic view. I wouldn't call it a "Bistro" as they've chosen to describe it, but the menu is still approachable enough to appeal to many. Our waiter and the hostess were both extremely friendly and fantastic. One of the dishes did arrive with a hair on it, which is the main reason for the low score, but the replacement did arrive quickly and the food was delicious.

    Was pretty disappointed in the mother's day brunch I had lined up for my fiancee a and our daughter. The service was good and people were nice but it took forever to get fed and the menu was terrible. I paid just over 200 for pancakes, French toast, some fruit and granola and a simple dessert. When I had booked this I swear it was supposed to be a buffet style brunch with lots of food to choose from. Compared to the Santa breakfast we did where it was a massive buffet with all you can eat for around if not the same price I paid for this I felt pretty ripped off. I'd probably not do this kind of thing again.

    The hotel maître d’ who greeted us told us the restaurant wasn’t taking any more guests. The restaurant recognized our reservation and we were seated. 15 minutes later they took our order, then brought our cold (supposed to be hot) coffees. Nothing further was seen of servers or staff for 45 minutes until I walked up and asked about our food. We had it 10 minutes later. Nobody asked us how the food was or if we wanted anything else. I had to search for a server to pay, which took another 10 minutes. It is rare when I’ve been so obviously ignored, especially in a restaurant not even half full and with staff busy chatting. The view is amazing and the food very good. Bring your own picnic lunch to eat while you’re waiting.

    Beautiful newly appointed dining room with terrific views of the golf course. the all glass areas of the dining room are very nice and the side windows slide open all the way so guests can enjoy the fresh air, or in the summer a breeze that comes off the mountain. We have been to the lounge after playing golf however this was our first time in the dining area, we had a table of 8. Excellent Chef !. Everyone enjoyed all their meals although one of our party had the Beef Short Rib and said it was too salty. Others had the pasta, the bouillabaisse and the Halibut. all indcated the dishes were perfect! The Server was attentive and checked in with each guest an appropriate number of times. The Sommelier was very good, I visited the wine list with him and he was very helpful A very wonderful experience for a group of friends that enjoy good food and good wine. I would recommend

    We had the worst experience yesterday, our reservation was at 12pm for the prepaid Easter brunch. They gave us a table and they forgot about us, after 15 minutes, you we reminded our waiter that we have not been our drinks. After 10 more minutes they served the coffee. We understand that it was a busy event but usually drinks are the first thing you get, had we not reminded them we would not have gotten it. After half an hour we got our appetizers which was smoked salmon, nothing to cook they already had them there. Then they forgot about us again. We were trying to be understanding but it's hard to entertain a child for so long. Then we saw the next table which they arrive half an hour later than us and already had appetizers and entres. By this time it was already 1pm, we had ordered scrambled eggs for my son, avocado toast & huevo rancheros, really simple meals. I asked the waiter again and he brings us the appetizers again like what? Then we saw a second and bigger table that arrived after us that had all their food. By this time, it was almost 1.30pm when we decided to leave. We told the supervisor that service was terrible. Cost per person was $65 and I know it was about the experience with the Easter bunny but the horrible service ruined the experience for us. Supervisor also said he would refund us but obviously they didn't do it. Do not recommend and we won't be back.

    My booking was at 12, I got my coffee after 45 minutes and my first course after an hour. The food was cold and the presentation very poor. It's been almost 2 hours and my dessert still not coming. Awful experience because nobody can say a word of what is happening. Very expensive brunch. I don't recommend it

    I feel the suger crepes could of been a bit better Execute Portion wise as well as mine were not cooked 100% in the middle as they were vary gooey/ rubber texture in the middle. For the table the Fruit platter could of been a bit more for a group of 5 it was not vary much to share, but all in all the service was great the staff is vary friendly. Was a nice treat for a Easter brunch special occasion.
