    My family and I came for dinner and the male server was very pleasant. A female server also came to our table a saw that we were celebrating two birthdays and gave us free desserts. That was very sweet of her to do that and left a lasting impression. The food was great! It was the first time coming the restaurant and we will definitely be back.

    Everything was delicious except the pasta I wasn’t crazy about it, it was a pasta with saffron and shrimp but I didn’t get it with the shrimp maybe that’s why I didn’t enjoy it but there was not much flavour. Everything else was amazing the burrata is heaven!

    Tried this spot last night and have nothing but good things to say. Food was fantastic, service was amazing. A little on the expensive side but definitely worth it! If you’re looking for a great Italian spot with great food and service, this is the place to go to.

    Restaurant run by children. The wait staff was the youngest staff I have ever been served by. Very awkward young men made my birthday less pleasant. My mom said it was my birthday they just stood there and stared. Did not feel like nice service when eating a $50 pasta. Food is good but not worth the money for really crappy chairs and being stuffed in the corner on my birthday. Felt unpleasant in every way.

    An incredible night celebrating our anniversary at Cano. No other place we’d want to go. Food perfect, beyond delicious. Cano has a way of making everything taste as if it’s the best you’ve ever eaten. The branzino melted in my mouth. Still thinking about how perfect it was. Pasta and pizza equally as incredible. Meat sauce to die for!! And the desserts, OMG!! So hard to not get one of everything. Honestly, Cano never disappoints. They have a way of making everything taste perfect. Daniel also hires the absolute best, no other restaurants hold a candle to Cano’s staff. That is so important when dining out. Lots of restaurants have good food. But the way Daniel and his staff treat their customers is priceless. Makes you want to go back again and again. Can’t wait to go back.

    The service was amazing, they asked about dietary restrictions and kept those in mind. We didn't know all the items on the menu and they explained much of it to us even though they were very busy. We were celebrating a birthday and they made us feel special and treated us to dessert on the house. The setting is very lovely and classy, but not too fancy (we were dressed casually). It was a bit chilly and the noise level from conversation was a bit loud but all manageable. My meal was sizeable, we were all filled but not overstuffed. The desserts were a bit pricey ($15 for a personal tiramisu). The quality of ingredients seemed very high. Though they served our 3yr old attendee very well, the environment feels more suited for older children, small gatherings of adult family members and is a great spot for these type of events.

    We really enjoyed our experience at Cano. The service was incredible- everyone was so attentive. On of our meals was not cooked quite right and this was corrected immediately. Everything else was excellent. Will definitely dine here again!

    One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The staff are so awesome, friendly, remember you from your past visits and so attentive. The food, my goodness, so delicious!! This time around, we shared the Caesar salad, Frutti De Mare, Pizza Calabrese and Rigatoni Alla Vodka and each and every bite got better and better. I'm excited for my next visit!

    we had a very good meal here. We focused on the seafood and it was excellent. Only 2 drawback. It is very noisy which made it difficult to converse with our friends. Secondly, the time between appetizer and the meal arriving was very long. They did bring us 2 free desserts afterwards to compensate for the delay so that was very muchappreciated

    First I wanted to eat lobster and they told me there wasn't any, I asked for something similar and they told me it wasn't the season, I expected more unusual dishes. I did not like the poor setting of the street, I think it could be more welcoming. there was no light to check the receipt. There was an effort by the staff to serve you well.

    Last night wee celebrated our wedding anniversary at Cano. The service was very friendly and helpful, and we had a nice evening so we sat outside. We shared the Branzino and the Gnudi which is their version of Gnocchi but stuffed with Ricotta cheese and covered in a San Maranzano tomato sauce. The Branzino was excellent and was accompanied by 3 large and delicious shrimp. The next time we will try the Gnudi with truffle mushroom sauce. We had 3 people who attended to us throughout the meal, and all of them went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. Overall this was a cozy neighbourhood restaurant, with excellent food and great ambiance.

    Fantastic meal, wow!!! Went with friends and everything was perfect - server, food, table. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. More deserving of a perfect 10 (out of 5). The dessert, OMG! Cano makes the absolute best bread pudding in the city. And their chocolate cake - to die for. Frankly, everything on their menu is unbelievable. Need to go more often just to be able to taste all their incredible offerings. Can’t wait to go back.

    Too expensive even though the food was great. You’ve got carried away with the price of everything going up but it’s important to find value. I’d come back time and time again if you could price this as a neighbourhood restaurant and so would many others you’d be lined up down the street making smaller margin but twice the volume. Food is great, genuinely, but you can’t be charging $21 for a cocktail and $25+ plus for pizzas especially when the service levels aren’t there. You have to choose between kids in casual jobs or seasoned professionals you can’t have both. Price determines expectation level and you’re setting the bar too high.
