The restaurant said they were no longer associated with Open Table.
We've gone here many times. We keep coming back, because it's consistently great!
Fabulous dinner. We had the special and it was amazing.
Ordered their Canyon pizza, one of the worst I've had melted cheese slopping over edge, other contents all to one side. Companion had shrimp burger it was ok. Beer and wine choices good
Not great. They ran out of a a few items and it was only 6pm. Risotto had no taste. Service was slow. Won't be going back.
The food was really good. I enjoyed the patio although we did not go on the patio this time but will next time!
We came here to have dinner before our movie and we sat on the patio because it was a nice sunny day. We arrived ten minutes early for our reservation and were able to be seated immediately. The waitress did not come to our table for 10 minutes - at that point she informed us that she would be right back. When she came back 5 minutes later she brought us water, but didn’t take our order as she had something else to attend to. Another server took our drink order, but not our food order. Finally 25 minutes after being seated our food order was taken (2 kids mac and cheese, 1 chorizo linguini, and a salad).
The food took 40 minutes to come out (ok well 38 minutes actually, but with hungry children and movie deadline it seemed like eternity).
The chorizo linguini was cold and bland despite the fact there were many chunks of sausage in it. I was shocked at how it just had ZERO flavour. Maybe some salt and pepper could have fixed this, but you shouldn’t have to drown your food in table salt and ground pepper to make it edible. The kids ate their mac and cheese, but also complained that it lacked flavour. The salad was good, but the chicken was burnt and carried the burnt flavour throughout the entire salad, unfortunately.
The server did NOT come back even ONCE to ask how anything was. She passed right by our table 3 times with blinders on and refused to acknowledge that my pasta hadn’t been touched even though the other dishes were now empty. We waited patiently for our server to come back, but she never did despite stopping at every other table. We were unsuccessful at getting her attention.
Finally, a different server came and cleared our dishes and took concern with the uneaten meal. It was too late to bring me another meal so she took it off our tab and brought us our bill. I had sent the children and my husband to the movie as we were now running late. The other server took payment and I did not see our actual server again.
It would have been nice to see a little update or even clean up of the decor with the new name/owner. It is looking a little run down and dated.
Delicious food. Ample parking. Great service. Will keep dining here.
Saturday specials on craft beer is great. There was plenty of seating and parking. Will come back when the patio opens.
The bar was under stocked and did not even have common alcohol like Captain Morgans Spice Rum or a Amber Rum selection. The waitress did not know and had to ask the bartender whom came to our table and said they had it then another man came saying that you did not. We were thirsty when we arrived and the waitress after the confusion finally brought our drinks. However we did not see her again until she took our food order. Again we did not see her again until it was time for us to pay our bill. It was other people whom brought our meals and i am assuming kitchen staff or reception staff. We were very much looking forward to our meals which we had reviewed the menu online. We order full meals being 2 x the 10 oz Rib Eye Steaks, Beef Dip that did not have the crispy onions as specified in the Menu and with not even seeing the waitress, we could not even advise that it was not received. Seeing the waitress when receiving our bill we just didn't bother because we were all very much not pleased with her service. With drinks our bill was over $ 130.00 and to say the least we did not give much of a gratuity but agreed that something should be given regardless of her service due to other staff like the cook etc that should get something.
Overall, we all were not impressed and could not wait to leave whereas this was suppose to be an evening out and to enjoy appetizers and drinks after our meal.
Was our first time here and we enjoyed it. We will be back for sure
Delectable food and fantastic service. Perfect spot for our monthly gatherings. We will be coming back more often.
Our food was really good. I had the fish and chips and my Dad had the Lobster risotto both delishious !!! Our server was friendly cool place.
Very loud and food was just OK
Service was slow and seemed inexperienced. However she tried to get to us when she could. I think they were short handed that evening as well. We asked for a quiet corner to meet and we were right by the bar, hockey game, speakers and loud music. Cesar’s were all made differently, some had their green beans missing, or no lemon. Honey garlic wings were served with bbq sauce to dip? We asked for half and half flavours of wings and it wasn’t that way. The server didn’t notice or say anything. We felt like we had to get everything in once we got service as we didn’t know when she would return. However, Food portions and taste were enjoyed by all. We still tipped our server as we felt the service was not her fault.
The food was excellent and we loved the 1/2 price wine special.
The entire experience was excellent. Everyone said their meals were amazing. We can’t wait too come back for another amazing evening of fabulous food and drink.
Went for the ”upscale atmosphere and elevated comfort food...” Reserved a table for two, but were seated in a loued, noisy, raucous bar instead. Waited and waited and waited for service. None came. Walked out on this and went up the street to a place with a real table for two and with service.
It was great, we were excited to try the new place and were impressed with the service and food!
I had dinner at Canyon Public House with 2 girlfriends before a movie. It was our first time there and we all really enjoyed the food and the surroundings. Great choices on the menu and prices were good too. Will definitely return before the next movie we go to.
Even with a reservation, a table was not ready for us when we arrived. We were seated at a table that was very small for 4 of us...we had no elbow room what so ever, and seated close to the bathroom stairs. When we asked for a bigger table we were pretty well told we were out of luck as the other tables were reserved (even though I made a reservation) Took a long time for a server to come to us and take drink order. Food was ok. Don’t know if we would go back. We really wanted to like this place.
Food was tasty, nothing fancy though, Room was cold, fireplace dead, noisy and bright from too many TV's. Drink price was fair. Ok for an appie or drinks with friends.
Chelsea was fantastic great service. Food was ok. Pizza and sticky ribs were great steak was tough.
We had beef dips, the dip and the gravy were extremely salty!
Decided to check out the new kid in the neighbourhood and came away satisfied.
The tacos, pretzel bites and cauliflower poutine appetizers were really good. The salad mains and burger got two thumbs up while the fish & chips weren’t enthusiastically received. My chorizo, black pepper linguine lacked the little zip I was expecting.
We’ll go back on a Wednesday when they have their half price bottles of wine to try a few other things.
A group of 11 of us had dinner on sat night and were extremely disappointed ! The food was average at best and although our waitress was very sweet, I think she was overwhelmed with serving a table of our size. She was unfamiliar with the menu, did not realize that a Pinot noir wine was a red wine and not a white wine she served us and took a very long time producing our bill at the end of our night. There was also a very intoxicated girl stumbling in and out of the kitchen so it was clear she was a staff member which did not add any positive notes on the restaurant itself. We have no intentions on returning to this establishment which is unfortunate as it does have a nice atmosphere.
Being the first week open, its easy to understand that they need some practice. Food was heavy, greasy and quite salty. Interesting menu, would like to try more items. Bartenders knowledge was lacking. But again, will try it again before making a true judgment.
