Fritto di Calamari
deep fried calamari, lemon
pan seared branzino, cauliflower purée, braised rapini, fingerling potato
porcini mushroom, parmigiano, thyme, served with truffle aioli
Very pleasant dining experience.
Service was adequate although server got a bit distracted by the table of patron of the opposite sex next to us. Food was pleasant.
Appreciate Capocaccia’s efforts to keep tables adequately distanced for COVID safety purposes.
Mushroom tagliattelle was fantastic and their pizza is thin crust and perfectly executed. Will definitely be coming back.
Delicious food, great service, great staff. Definitely worth another visit.
Excellent venue. Lovely food and a great ambience. The highlight was the superb service. Both from our dedicated server and from the rest of the team. Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. They are doing very well in COVID times too.
Our local haunt an dit is back. Pizza excellent. Pasta perfectly prepare. Lovely. Appetizer selections on. Waiter was excellent as usual.
Staff was wonderful! Made recommendations and took care to make sure we enjoyed them.
Service was good although a bit too efficient. One server took away our appetizer plates and they were immediately replaced with our mains. My rapini pasta was not as good as I remembered and the arancini ball was just ok
Delicious - lots of options for vegetarians and those sensitive to gluten
The patio outside is so pretty. A little street noise from the occasional firetruck.
We had a great server.
The service was excellent. The ambience perfect considering Covid. The food always good and often great. Apart from the fire trucks (which I cannot fault) the noise was minimal. I always enjoy Capocaccia!
When we were seated, we were told we could stay only 1 hour and 45 minutes. It put a bit of a damper on dinner. Whether it was because tables became available, or our dinner for four cost over $500, we stayed for 2.5 hours and no one bothered us again.
Delicious food, great wine, excellent service.
Exceptional food and service.
Food was amazing. Server was a nice guy but seemed to spend a lot of his time chatting with 2 guys at the table behind ours. He never checked in to see how things were. .We felt a little ignored.
Will come back for the food though.
This is my favorite place to eat on Yonge! Excellent service, excellent food and a great wine list!
Great food, fantastic staff who made everyone welcome despite the rain and just make it a wonderful place to have dinner
Excellent ambiance and fantastic service- authentically Italian.
Excellent staff /waiter and cooks .
Service was great and the food was cooked spot on . Also had a chance to brush up on my Italian . Truly an Italian trattoria.
Great food. Had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday. Sea bass was delicious.
This time we dined outside on the Patio. We and our friends enjoyed not only the food but also dining on the Patio. The Patio surrounded by greenery provided a tranquil setting for having lunch. Our server, Nicole also contributed to making our dining experience an enjoyable one. This is one restaurant that has great food, pleasant surroundings and fantastic service.
Very good food and presentation
I really like this restaurant. The staff is well trained, polite, and attentive from the moment you walk in until you are finished your meal!
The food is outstanding!
It is one of the more expensive restaurants in the area, but definitely worth it!
Capocaccia was fabulous, as usual! The drinks, food, and overall experience was wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit already!
It was a great experience even though the service was slow but the staff was very friendly
One pasta portion was too small but well prepared.
Good, friendly service.
With Covid issues, there should have been an option given for outdoor or indoor dining. Because there was no option we had to wait for an outside table until about 7:30 for our 7pm reservation.
The only real negative for me was the wasps. If only there was a way to get rid of them.
We came for my Dad’s birthday, and got no recognition for such, as per my online “special request” description
The industry is short staff so don't look to go there and get a great overall experience for the money you will be spending.
Very long wait times for drinks and food and no ambience/experience
Went here for my moms birthday, both of us had a great experience. Service was perfect, atmosphere was awesome and food was great.
Server was just not friendly. He made me feel bad about ordering paper menus. My pasta was soo salty I couldn’t finish it legit trash. Burrata was very good and carpaccio was ok at best . Don’t wast your time go somewhere that will care about you.
From the moment we walked into this restaurant, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating so you knew it was going to be a great dining experience.
This restaurant has two outdoor patios that are tastefully done with beautiful planters incorporated into their outdoor space. Whether you go for lunch or dinner you will enjoy the dishes they prepare. The menu has lots of great choices and the quality of the food and service are superb. Three of our party had the Navona pizzas and the other person had a Margherita pizza. They were some of the best pizzas we have had. We also shared the Fritto di Calamari. For dessert we had their delicious Peach Gelato. Their wine list is extensive and they have some excellent selections of beer. We appreciated the excellent service we received from Giulia. Her friendly and professional manner as well as her excellent suggestions made for a wonderful dining experience. Looking forward to dining at Capocaccia Trattoria again and hopefully we will have Giulia as our server.
Exceptional place to dine. Everyone was delightful and considerate to our requests. Cod was best I have had worldwide.
Outdoors, next to a firehouse, lots of traffic and delivery trucks
Excellent food in an excellent environment. This restaurant has really coped with the Covid restrictions very well. Our meal and wine were beautifully served. There was a personal touch as well as professionalism. Well done Capocaccia.
The winter was really great…. Older guys beside us broke his beer glass and he managed it beautifully
He was also attentive to our needs all the time
The food was good… always good pizza there
However, the manager for the day was rude and lazy and condescending ….thankfully we only saw him at the beginning when he didn’t bother to open the door for me and at end of the meal when he brought the bill, and tutted when my blind friend had a problem with the visa machine
(He saw her white cane when we came in)
I hope he’s not a fixture there… everyone else was nice
Alright food BUT great service and ambiance. Overall, not memorable. I'd come back and only try the coffee.
Skip the Bianca Pizza, it's too salty.
Do not get the vanilla gelato, get the pistachio.
Skip the canoli, not that good tbh.
Do not get the calamari... look at the pictures- you be the judge.
Amazing food - excellent gluten free pizza and pasta! Will definitely come back.
Very great place to eat! Food was delicious also! Would recommend for sure
Very good food and service.
Can’t recall last time I had nothing to complain about either food or service.
Welcoming service. Very helpful with my walker. Room very pleasant, and we never worried about pandemic crowding. Our waiter was extremely helpful and well informed about the menu. Pizza crust is the best ever!
Always love this place. Never disappointed!
