   Food was good. However no bread and hummus?? Top prices r being paid, seems like this could still be provided. Waiter was nice, however we sat and waited for our bill while he chatted with another table for at least a good 15 minutes or so, others waited as well.

   The Caribou has always been one of the better restaurants in Thunder Bay. The ambiance, the food and the service all combine to make dining at the Caribou memorable. Servers need to understand they make a great impact on the guests evening. If they are chewing gum, or deliver your food instead of “ presenting” it, then some of the magic of the evening disappears. A waiter needs to know how to enhance the evening. It is a skill. If they are just bringing your food to the table with no presentation skills, something is lost.

   I used to absolutely LOVE the Caribou, but my last 2 visits weren't awesome. The food is just "okay". To be clear, there was nothing wrong with it. But I used to be wowed by the menu. These last 2 times were like eating a chain restaurant for fine dining prices. :( Service was (and has always been) great, and no complaints about interactions with staff at all.

    Excellent dinner out for our anniversary. Special surprise on arrival. All food was done to perfection. Server was wonderful and attentive. 5 star. Only exception was the noise level even in a booth seating.

    This is the loudest and so the least convenient restaurant that I have tried in several countries. It seems that sound gets resonated and amplified. The noise level should be evaluated by professional tests, mainly for the duration of 1-2 hours that guests are exposed to.

    We were sat for our reservation on time however we were not greeted by the server for almost 20mins and was without water for even longer. We placed a drink order and got that in a reasonable time but I was very thirsty sitting there. Also I asked if you made espresso martinis and she said yes but what I got was baileys coffee in a martini glass. Food was great and rest of the meal was good and timely.

    Food was excellent as always. Mafaldine and Blackened pork Chop are always so good. Tried the new tostada appetizer on recommendation from our waitress , amazing. New favourite. Service excellent.

    I love this restaurant . I as able to get the same day reservation . Food, drinks and service were excellent. The only bad part was the restaurant is very loud. We had to ask the waitress to repeat herself several times.

    Excellent meal, our waitress Madison was lovely. Very attentive, great sense of humor, checked in frequently to make sure the meal was OK and to see if we needed anything else. Everyone at our table remarked, it is so important to have a good waiter/waitress, it really adds to an evening out. All our meals were delicious .
