    Yesterday my wife and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing experience. The pasta was so fresh, best I had in Canada. Everything was good, all the people that work there are very friendly , always checking on us . I'll comeback soon. Thank you

    My partner has a sensitive stomach and so we took a chance on Carisma for our 5 year anniversary dinner. His appetizer and entrée were delicious - a home run on both and he surprisingly ate every bite. My appetizer was amazing, if unexpectedly expensive for what was offered, but unfortunately the spaghettini I ordered with the black tiger shrimp in brandy tomato cream sauce was a lot spicier than anticipated making it mostly inedible for me. I ate some of the dish but was unable to finish most of it because of the overwhelming spice. I mentioned it to the server when we were paying our bill (someone else cleared the plates so I had no opportunity to bring it up with our server before that). I mentioned it as a suggestion to add to the menu that it's a spicy dish and after paying he offered some complimentary tiramisu - which my partner and I don't eat . It was a kind gesture but a little late. Overall a successful meal though and the atmosphere was pleasant despite the busy Saturday night restaurant.

    We had the tasting menu. Appetizers were amazing, pasta fantastic, fish delicious, beef a little to be desired. Dessert was amazing. Service was like being at home so warm, welcoming, helpful and quick. Ambiance was elegant. Would definitely return but would order off the menu next time.

    Our experience at Carisma was absolutely amazing! You could tell that they strive to make sure you feel cared for and leave feeling that you had the best experience possible. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the drinks/ menu and helped us to pick our food which was perfect portions and the most delicious authentic Italian dinner you could imagine. My mom and I are already planning our next visit back to treat our family/ friends to the wonderful experience we had.

    I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!!! So did my mother:) very classy place and super rare to find this type of elegance in Toronto from food to servers. Deeply impressed by everything. It was worth every dollar and it’s not even expensive in my book compared to other fancy restaurants I usually go to.

    After booking a reservation and arriving to the location, we realized that the place isn't even open. The doors were locked and the place was empty. This completely derailed our plans, as we had a lot of trouble finding other restaurants that weren't full since it was the weekend. This restaurant needs to do a better job at communicating with OpenTable to inform them whether or not they were open. I may give this place another chance in the future, but I'm hesitant to book again because of this experience.
