A bit more expensive than the Woods, but they always have the best service and food! You can't beat the view of the gorgeous fall colors on Round Island that we could see from our table. Love the butter for the bread. Love the amount of tartar sauce you get with the whitefish.

We realize that it is the end of the season, but we expected to still have Prosecco on the wine list. The substitute was very pricey-not a good substitute!

Veal marsala, pork chop dinner, pasta with shrimp were absolutely amazing. Appetizers. Salads, drinks were also delicious. However the whitefish entree was disappointing and didn't meet expectations. Service was exceptional!

We were married in the dock at hotel Iroquois and had our wedding dinner there. The service was wonderful the food delicious and the view amazing. Enjoyed the pianist as well.

We felt like we were taking a chance on this one because we hadn't read anything about it and only glanced briefly at the menu beforehand. It ended up being a great call though. It was a very nice upscale dining experience with an awesome view of the harbor and Straights as a bonus. We'd definitely go back if we get the chance.

The Carriage House came well recommended and lived up to it’s reputation. Delicious dinner (the Lake Superior Whitefish) and yummy dessert. Good selection of wines and excellent ambiance! Our server was great, being knowledgeable about the dishes as well as personable and efficient. The Carriage House is excellent for a special dinner.

Lovely atmosphere with spectacular view and excellent piano playing. Veal Marsala was excellent. Salad portion is very small on goat cheese salad…definitely not worth the price. Unfortunately the hostess set a bad tone, not very welcoming and when I asked for a different table, seemed quite put out though she accommodated us. Chalked it up to being late in the season so she was tired ☺️

My Brussels sprouts were extremely undercooked and therefore inedible I did point this out to our waiter when he checked on us towards the end of our meal The rest our food was very good

Food was excellent. We started with the Lump Crab Tower with Fresh Salsa and Avocado. This was very good. My wife had the Smoked Whitefish Cakes with Mustard Vinaigrette as a main course. She raved about this dish. I had the special which was a walleye filet which was excellently prepared. Our server PJ was fantastic & ensured we enjoyed our meal without be overbearing.

Gorgeous views, beautiful room. The food was tasty but the menu is limited. They wouldn't split a salad onto two plates for us. At around $16 it should not have been an issue. My husband asked for a twist for his martini and got olives. The live piano music was lovely.

Evening was fantastic. Started with cocktails at the bar served by Justin and Jake. Nicely prepared and very tasty. Then sat at our beautiful corner table overlooking the luxury gardens and the harbor. Gabrielle our server did an amazing job taking care of us. In the background was wonderful panino music play a wide variety. Lucas and his staff makes sure everyone's evening is tastefully delicious! Thank you .

Delicious food in a beautiful, quiet location. We ate on the patio and were quite comfortable. A little more than what we would typically spend on dinner, but a wonderful experience overall.

When I booked the reservation I did not imagine our hostess would try and cram us in the most awkward and tiny table at the restaurant. I couldn’t even get my leg into the chair. After a while we were moved to another area but the entire situation put a damper on what was to be a lovely evening. Our waitress was great, food was decent and having to need to move tables only one of the two of us could see the view. We come up to Mackinac Island every year and had not eaten at the Carriage House yet, we will continue to stick to eating at the Woods instead.

Food was very good but not exceptional. Service was 3* . Dinner was served in an appropriate time but Dessert was delayed to arrive but good. There were 6 of us… 2 bottles of wine, 4 cocktails, 2 shared desserts. Just over $1000. Had better food for the amount spent.

Wonderful food and service as well as atmosphere. Only criticism was when we arrived, the hostess (young woman) could have been more inviting and cordial. She was young and might need to be coached by management to realize that the first appearances and greetings make all the difference!

Reserved this weeks in advance to be told that a table for two next to us but on the rail and better view was reserved. We had entire meal and left without that same table ever being used, in fact they cleared the table setting as we were paying bill. Food was ok but overpriced, service was great. I had lamb chop special which was over cooked and my wife had the scallops off the menu which were fantastic. Portions were surprisingly large for such a high end restaurant- usually we prefer quality over quantity but this place had a bit of both.

We eat at Carriage House whenever we visit Mackinaw Island.The food is always spectacular and the dining room is lovely, overlooking the water. The reason for only 4 stars is that for the first time, I felt a little rushed during my meal. Our server, Carter, gave us no information about the menu items, other than to say that my drink choice was his favorite! There was not a second between our salad course and main entree. He put my entree in front of me as he whisked my salad plate away. And then he reached for my entree plate while I was still eating. The timing was definitely off that night.
