Asked the waitress if the carnitas tacos were crunchy (fried) she said yes, of course when they were brought to the table they were not fried. I told the waitress these are not fried, she said the carnitas are fried, I said this is not what I ordered, she proceeded to tell me that they don’t have fried (crunchy) tacos. 🥴. In addition, the beans and rice were cold/warm and had no flavor. Also, they were out of horchata, so I walked across the street to cafe Coyote and ordered an horchata to go then walked back. In summary, I’m going to avoid Fred’s, it wasn’t a good dinner/experience for me.

Service was great. Lots of staff attentive. Good price for food for 4 people and a few drinks. Food was good, better than I expected. green chicken enchiladas, lots of chicken. The molcajete is a good size, says for 2 but my brother ate it all himself. Mole was okay, not authentic. Guac and chips were good. Staff was awesome and friendly

When we checked in the hostess informed us that we needed to make reservations 2 hours ahead of time. She accommodated us but there seems to be a disconnect between reserving online and going in person. It was frustrating in that she said it was like we were “jumping the line.” ease fix this.

Place has gone downhill. The food was average tasting and overpriced for what you get. There was 1 server working for the entire patio on a busy Saturday night. Carne asada was good, the mahi was over cooked and rubbery. The sauce on the fish taco was extremely hot. Would rather go to a taco shop for tacos at a fraction of the cost.

Service was great; however, food was mediocre at best. No great options for vegetarians. The vegetarian burrito was basically filled with guacamole and nothing else. Would not recommend.

Went there for Christmas brunch. The food was yummy. Wish they had more breakfast items or even a brunch menu. There was nothing special going on for Christmas, just their regular menu and they seemed to be the only place open in the area.

Fred’s is always out families go to place! We went on a Sunday fairly early so we were easily seated and it wasn’t packed. Service was AWESOME! It was great baby friendly for our little one also. Not the biggest of all deals but for those parents that have sensitive children, The bathroom music is crazy loud. I had to change my baby super fast and rush out of there as he absolutely freaked out with the loud music. Outside though, it was perfect! Food was delicious and they’re very vegetarian friendly!

I would have given five stars across the board as everything was very good but really, you charge for chips and salsa. Bad idea! Especially with a table that is buying multiple drinks and appetizers before buying full entrees. Might want to rethink that policy.

Our family came to Fred's for a special dinner on Dia de los Muertos and they were totally prepared to host all of the people lined up to come in that night, no problem. The friendly host seated us immediately upon learning of our reservation and our server couldn't have been more on top of it, friendly, and professional. Our meals came out promptly and were delicious. We each had a zucchini taco & shrimp taco with beans and rice and our son had the children's quesadilla; all really yummy! There was a really festive atmosphere with the servers all having their faces painted and a great DJ spinning excellent music all evening. Our favorite part of the evening was the wonderful photographer who was taking pictures of each table. We loved having the complimentary photo and then decided to buy an additional photo as a souvenir of our special night at Fred's. We will be back soon!

We had a great time. We arrived early evening and the service was excellent. I like the atmosphere very much, the patio is very festive and the outside bar adds to the charm. I really loved the music too but it was a bit loud for conversation.

We always have a great time at Fred's! We particularly love when they give us rubber ducks with our drinks. They have great food and it's a great place to go out to dinner with friends or family. We love going here with a big group because the service is great and quick.

Food was pretty decent. I ordered the chicken mole which was pretty good. However, the flour tortillas I got turned hard quickly. Got a house margarita as well which was ok. My only complaint really is that it took so long to get our food. Like 30 minutes long. Our server, whose name I don’t remember, was great.

We love Fred’s. We sat near the sidewalk and a couple stopped to ask us if we were having a good meal. We said Yes and advised the drinks are fantastic too!

Fred's was fun for Taco Tuesday. The DJ was a little loud, had to talk very loud to hear each other at the table. Drinks were good. Tacos were pretty good and full size.

Good and service were both meh. Ambiance was nice although a bit loud. I wouldn’t normally leave a poor review but it’s reviews on opentable do not reflect our experience

This is a good spot. Our server was very friendly and the food was good. Nothing out of the ordinary bit the chips we’re home made and fresh. I had chicken enchiladas and they were fresh also. The atmosphere was good and tables were kept clean. I’d dine there again.
