It was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. As soon as you walked in you are greeted with smiles very inviting. The ambiance is great. The food is even better. The focaccia and the truffle fries. OMG! I also had the aperol spirits and the millonario drink 🍸 They were delicious. The octopus was spot on too. Service was too notch!

I had the Caesar Salad as an appetizer and it was very, very good! I had the Carbonara and it was good! It was my first time trying Carbonara and it wasn't my favorite thing ever, but it was good. The servers were very attentive and friendly. My only complaint is that someone came by asking if I'd like my meal boxed up to go and I said yes. She took my plate but never brought my to-go box. I completely forgot about it until we left, but it's okay. Great place overall!

Very pricey. The restaurant was beautifully decorated in a deep forest green and the chandeliers were stunning. It was great for a very special occasion and remarkably full for a Monday night. The atmosphere was perfect for intimate conversation. The wood grilled oysters, short ribs, and veal chops were delicious. The side of risotto was bland and crunchy, not the cheesy delight as described by our waitress. The chocolate fondant cake was a wonderfully delicious dessert with a liquid chocolate center and came with extra caramel. Our bottle of wine was good but their selections off their menu were not always available and required additional help to determine what to order. Would be nice to see a lower price point on the wines. The experience was overall 5 star.

The restaurant is beautiful, especially love the three large chandeliers in the big dining room. The servers were very attentive and food came out promptly. Two of the guests at our table had the Chicken Milanese. It came with two large breasts and a side of broccolini. The chicken was super tender and flavorful. We all felt like one breast and a side of pasta, instead of two breasts would have made it a home run. The Bronzino and Sea Bass dishes were delicious. The Sea Bass portion was too small for the price. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience.

Everything was great. It was our third time to visit this great restaurant! It was also the Friday before game day and WAS VERY BUSY. However they ran the place like a well oiled machine. I loved how everyone on the staff helped each other. We had the short rib ravioli and the wagyu bolognese. They were both very good.

The service was great, the atmosphere and noise level were good. The restaurant is very nice and beautifully decorated. But the food was not that great, very bland and the servings were very small. We ordered 4 different dishes and all were underwhelming. The mashed potatoes tasted like from a box with water added. My short ribs tasted like pot roast. I ordered chocolate mousse for dessert (because the servings were small and I was still hungry), and the mousse was like paste consistency, not fluffy and light. I try not to give bad reviews, but hopefully this will give good honest criticism for improvement!

One of my favorite restaurants in College Station. Normally I book a table for 2-4 people. This last visit was 8 persons and the service was horrible. Left a bad first impression for my guests and embarrassment for me as I had highly recommended. I will continue to dine here because the food is outstanding and the service is normally great.

Casa Mangiare is the best fine dining restaurant in College Station. They have included new options on the menu like the seafood tower and oysters and also expanded their wine list. The freshness and the preparation of their items is unmatched in town. I cannot wait to see how the new patio will look.

Great food and service. Will definitely return. Nice wine list with a wide selection of Italian wines plus many other nice selections as well. One minor (personal) beef: restaurant has a dress code but doesn't enforce it. I'm fine either way, but believe that if you have a dress code you should enforce it. If you aren't going to enforce it, then don't have a code to begin with!!

Beautiful ambiance, good service, but the menu selection is limited, meal sizes were small but overpriced, and cuisine is not authentic Italian. Since I wasn't interested in the menu choices, chose the pizza which was soggy and tasteless. Live music was lovely. Overall, we don't plan to return, but it's a great destination to impress a date.
