The food was excellent! The creations by the chefs we're outstanding and presented very well. I would highly recommend Casa Mono for a nice dinner with a date or some friends. Tapas style with quite the variation.

As I remembered from past visits the food was good, but, unlike previous visits, the service was poor at best. It was 4pm on a rainy Sunday, and the restaurant was not full. It’s a small one room restaurant and it should be easy to stay on top of things, but the waiters were more interested in chatting with each other. I had to ask multiple times to get a second glass of wine, and there was never an inquiry if we were enjoying our experience or wanted anything else. The overall feeling of indifference was appalling. I won’t return.

They added an extra seat for us out in the box on Irving. The air conditioning was nice and the sommelier Hector was great! We will be back again to Bar Jamon!!!

Amazing plates! Everything we ate was terrific. The plates are perfect to share but are small, In 3 people you should order at least 6 options if you want to feel satiated it. We ordered a bottle of Cava which was great too.

If I am being completely honest, this was one of the worst dining experiences at this price point I’ve ever had. It took 20 minutes for water to be refilled. The table wobbled, and after asking for a new table we were told it was the ground, not the table… okay? We shared some plates and wanted to order more. We were told that they transitioned to the dinner menu. Great! Let’s order from the dinner menu. Oh, we can’t? Why not? I see others eating off the dinner menu right now. “Because you already ordered stuff off the lunch menu”. I was appalled

Food is a basic reinterpretation of spanish cuisine, quantity minimized to tapas size dish, with an outrageous 50 dollars 25g jamon portion……well, you can get the proper one, in Spain, for 12 dollars, 5 times the size :( . Tables are also suffering from downsizing, proper for kindergarten….

The food was good, the service and hospitality was wildly lackluster. This is the only Michelin restaurant experience that I have ever had that wasn’t special. It felt like any other normal restaurant. We arrived a bit early, our table wasn’t ready. No problem at all, but when our reservation time came around, our table still wasn’t ready. We went to bar jamon next door and after about 20 more minutes our table was ready. Our server never mentioned his name. We saw him once at the beginning of the meal, briefly for a second glass of wine and for the bill. Of the 9 plates we ordered, he checked on us once. The food runner / server assistant however, was great. At the end of the meal our server came to the table and asked “do you want any dessert?” No menu presented, no after dinner drinks offered, the staff was a bit rowdy with their shift drinks while we were still finishing our last courses. It was very apparent that we were the last table and they were ready for us to leave. We didn’t feel as if we had overstayed our welcome, our dining experience had been less than an hour and a half and every location of posted hours said they were open until midnight and it was hardly 11pm. My goal is not to bash the restaurant at all; I guess from previous Michelin dining experiences, and a nearly $400 price tag I thought it would be a bit more special.
