Razor Clams a la Plancha
Oxtail Stuffed Piquillo Peppers
Casa Mono is a restaurant that is absolutely worth visiting. The jamon Iberico is carved and plated fantastically and is certainly the stand out dish - razor clams, meatballs and bread pudding were noteworthy as well. I made the right decision in allowing the somm to pick our bottle of wine, he made a great choice which added to the whole experience. Will be returning!
Muy buena comida española en NYC. Extensa carta de vinos
Amazing food and being able to watch everything from the chef table area was an added bonus. Highly recommended
Took a while to get service and for staff to give us menus. Food was ok. Tapas at Little Spain are more enjoyable and of higher quality
The staff unfriendy
Nothing special a bit overrated. Staffs are quite unprofessional. Food is fair. Besides food, a bit disappointed.
Great - as always!
Delicious food and fabulous service. The outside seating was heated and comfortable.
Always worth the splurge. Fideos with chorizo and clams is my absolute favorite.
The duck breast, bacalao, and sweetbread are the favorite. Wide wine selection. Ambiance is great for conversation with friend or date especially after hours when noise subsides.
Casa Mono couldn't have been more accommodating, we love them and had a wonderful evening!
We where sitting outside and the heat lamps stopped working, we told the waitress and the waiter, they said they would speak to a manager and no one came after that. We left without a main course because of the cold. It was 32 outside.
Its a shame because the food was excellent, but this was a big foul. Disappointed that one would experience this at a Michelin stat restaurant.
In Covid times you have to reassure consumers that outside they will have a great experience. So trust me when i say, don't eat outside at Casa Mono if its cold.
A little bit cold and drafty as we were at the window/sliding door and there was no space heater.
Food is excellent but not a place to go if you are looking for quiet or social distancing. I recommend 4-5 plates to share for 2.
Hard to top the lovely service, incredible food and Spanish wine we had for Sunday lunch the weekend before Christmas! The complimentary Prosecco and birthday candle was a thoughtful surprise to a perfect mid day meal! Probably one of the best New York dining experiences I’ve had in years.
Food and ambiance were great as always. Service was unavailable, indifferent, and a drag on the experience. Poured and charged for the wrong wine, never checked in our courses, left beverages empty the entire meal, only came back to drop the check.
Very unique and interesting plates! Tapas were decent portions and menu was extensive. Would recommend the Scallops and minted cashews, and the fideos with clams and chorizo (less so the goat confit). Would definitely come back!!
Amazing as usual. We are from Puerto Rico and we try to dine here every time we visit NYC. Delicious food. Great service.
Top tier dinner in Gramercy!!!!
The service was bad. They continue to come and want us to leave even if we haven’t finished our food:)
This was an amazing experience! My husband and I loved every dish and the service and atmosphere were great.
My favorite restaurant in Manhattan since it’s opening 12 years ago. Perfection.
The food was delicious, the service outstanding. The place is cozy, but the tables were a bit too close to each other.
Spectacular. Perfect seasoning. I want to live here.
Everything was fantastic from the food to the service. Matt was very personable with great suggestions and awesome service overall. Although I must say, we called the restaurant letting them know we were running late and when we arrived we had a not so warm welcome by the manager who continued to remind us how late we were while repeatedly telling us we will not have much time to eat and about our our time.
It’s true, One Michelin star,
Inventive, satisfying, best!
Food was VG and service good (although a bit disjointed). Music (lunch time) was so loud at first, I could not understand the person seated at my table. But it did calm down.
My major complaint was the size of the table for two people. It was just a little bigger than a snack tray and shoved up against the wall. It made dealing with the various tapas on the table along with utensils, water, wine, etc. just about impossible. It greatly detracted from the dining experience.
Amazing restaurant with extraordinary food. Everything is perfectly served with a smile. I wanted to order everything on the menu, but restrained myself.
Fabulous! Small place that creates a fun atmosphere for small groups. Food was amazing. So fun to try lots of different dishes!
It was really good ! The service was the best
Nice service and good food. Really doing a good job in casual dinning. Only place with good Spanish wines
Service was slow and disorganized and the meal was excessively long. We were also expecting to be seated indoors based on the reservation information provided on opentable and then learned at the last minute that we would be forced to eat outdoors. The hostess was not helpful and even a bit rude. The whole experience was disappointing and not at all up to Michelin standards. Prices have significantly increased and felt ridiculous. The food was still good although the menu is repetitive and is in need of some innovation.
I used to love this place but no longer recommend it following my latest experience.
Fantastic food, great wine, attentive service and, after the first 15 or so minutes, no music! My only reservation was that it was quite expensive. But although I do not expect to do this very often, it was a great experience and I don't regret spending the money
Wonderful meal, terrific service, ready to go back
If you choose a one star michelin restaurant you expect good food and an approipriate Space!
Booth were not at the rendez-vous instead we were at the cantine serving food that you will get in a bodega in Spain for a third if the price
Would go back anytime. Good food and good wine. Also a fan of the tapas and cheese plate.
The octopus was quite good and well prepared. A couple other dishes were a bit to greasy for our liking as well as too salty. It is a lovely NYC feeling location. The burrata was also pretty nice.
Great food great service
terrible service from the host who has a horrible manner. Didn’t feel welcome at all. Very disappointed
