    Spent a lovely afternoon here and will look forward to the next time. The Sandwiches and cakes were delightful. When told there was a Cheese allergy the server brought out a plate with ham sandwiches without cheese. The staff were very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend The Hilton on Cambridge Street, Glasgow for Afternoon Tea.

    When we arrived we were taken to our table and we were asked if we had any food allergies before being served our afternoon tea and we were asked what we would like to drink and we can surprised that we could get any type of tea and coffee that we wanted usually it's only normal tea and coffee.

    Food was delicious and topped-up regularly. We upgraded to a bottle of Prosecco - could have been a bit more chilled! Apart from that, really enjoyed this. Barman made me the most fabulous Dry Martini - would come back for another of these alone!

    Good value for money but it was a bit noisy at times and difficult to hear the conversation at the table. There was no rush to leave the table and overall a pleasant experience.

    Friends and I had a great afternoon, that’s been our third afternoon tea and always enjoy it. Found this time although we enjoyed it found it lacked service as think we were last that afternoon and staff were working elsewhere but thank you and hope to be back .

    fab afternoon tea, the sandwiches were superb, so fresh!egg may, tuna mayo and cheese and ham, you could really taste the quality! service was really brilliant coffee for included unlimited and glass of prosecco each! it was fabulous!

    Warm friendly welcome - great service - afternoon tea was lovely - a glass of Prosecco and plenty of tea/ coffee. Freshly made ham & cheese, egg, tuna and cheese & tomato sandwiches, scone with cream and jam and 4 dainty cakes each - ours were a meringue with cream and mint chocolate leaf garnish, pink creamy filled choux pastry, iced ginger sponge square and strawberry tart - delicious! Very relaxed atmosphere even though the hotel seemed quite busy. Amazing value - would definitely recommend

    This was the third time I have been ,took my daughter as I wee surprise. Was not overly impressed with the food .sandwichs wear soggy and cakes soft and fell apart when you tried to lift them.the staff wear very nice and helpful.

    This was our 2nd visit and was very disappointed. The selection was nothing like we had the first time, the tongs to lift the food were grubby as was the unit the where the food was stored. Apart from being shown to our seat the only interaction we had with the staff was to ask for fresh sandwiches as the others had gone hard. No tables cleared during our visit and the floor looked like it hadn’t been brushed in days. Not impressed at all and would not recommend

    Afternoon tea was certainly not fresh and had obviously been made earlier. It was definitely not made when ordering. The bread exposed at the top were hard and starting to curl. The ham was also a bit on the thick side.

    My friend and I had booked for the unlimited afternoon tea with a bottle of Prosecco via Wowcher. This worked out at £20 (£24 per person including booking fee). The deal was originally £45 per person. If we had saw the buffet and choice prior to booking, we wouldn’t have purchased it. There was barely warm sausage rolls, cheese tart things, 3 choices of sandwiches and other open sandwich type things with topping. The food was something you’d expect at a funeral in a bowling club. Majorly disappointed. Cake choice was ok but again, nothing spectacular. The jam and cream were finished and not replaced and the strawberry tarts were all gone. The mini scones were lovely. Staff were nice but not up to scratch with service. Unfortunately we won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend this, if we had paid full price of £45 per person we would have requested an immediate refund as soon as we seen the buffet.

    First visit for the afternoon tea buffet and was really good. Good choice available. Could have done with a bigger variety of sandwiches and some of the ones that were there were a bit dry because they had been out for a while. But there were plenty of cakes to choose from and the scones were lovely.

    Having being here numerous times before for afternoon tea I have to say I was extremely disappointed. Given it was later afternoon it was evident that most of the food and cakes had been out on display for some time. The sandwiches had started to go hard on the outside and was very small amounts of them. The cakes were very soggy. Very disappointing indeed

    We had a fabulous day it was gift for my 60th in July then on the day we came it was my friends birthday so was great way way to celebrate staff were absolutely brilliant couldn't do enough for us thankyou for experience we will be back definitely.

    Overall very nice and worth the money. We had unlimited which was excellent with Prosecco on the deal. The room was quite large with only a few tables being used. There was just two of us and taken to our table where the other tables for two were (4 tables in all - along a back wall) so we squished in between tables to get into the long bench seat at the back. I don’t know why we couldn’t have had a choice of seating anywhere as it was so quiet. The sandwiches were ok, nothing fancy, 6 each I think it was. We had homemade sausage rolls and we did ask for extra of those as they were delicious and a small quiche each. The poor wee scones ….they were doll sized, the tiniest scones I’ve ever seen, there was no point trying to cut them as they just totally disintegrated. The pastries and cakes were very nice, strawberry tarts, choc cake, profiteroles. We had 3 pots of tea each! The staff were very attentive and pleasant. They came looking for me in the hotel as I had left my umbrella behind. Overall it was a lovely afternoon out.

    Interminably long wait for lukewarm, mediocre, and overpriced food. They didn’t know about our booking when we arrived, but we got a friendly welcome and were quickly seated by young waitress. The evening turned to frustration when our nice waitress disappeared and a manager took over. She took our order and then seemingly forgot about us. After nearly 40 minutes of being ignored, we flagged down another waitress who went to check and came right back out with our food which had clearly been sitting for a while. Kudos to the two young waitstaff we interacted with, the manager should let them do their jobs as her involvement seemed to be the catalyst for everything falling apart. Won’t be back. Can’t recommend, especially not for a pre-theatre meal.

    I have attended Cask & Clyde several times for an afternoon tea and I cannot recommend it enough. I always take my little girl with me who is 2 and the staff are always so accommodating and brilliant with her, as well as me. The ambience is perfect and the food is delicious 🤤. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else.
