    Good Old Fashioned. The building is very very cool. Did not stay for dinner. A bit of a weird vibe in the bar, no music or TV, bartender was courteous but it seemed like her attention was divided between the bar area and the other dining room. It felt more like being at a funeral visitation than it did a premier restaurant in Versailles. So we went elsewhere.

    TJ our server was great! In fact, every employee we encountered was so kind. The table behind us in the area we were seated was extremely loud, and it was very hard to hear our group. I would also recommend playing Christmas music. Everyone enjoyed their food, and we will make this a regular brunch meeting place!

    For us being the one of the first tables there it was very slow service. Had the ravioli, creamy risotto and the hand cut ribeye. The ravioli made me sick and something didn't taste right in the risotto. The only good thing was the stake.

    Beautiful venue! Food was delicious. Took too long for drinks to come out. Food was great but some in the party were almost done eating before others received their food. Party of 7. I do plan to return.

    Fabulous late lunch birthday celebration for 8 - decor was beautiful for Christmas. Food was excellent. Friendly service granting every request. Will definitely be back and soon!

    They had our table ready, a birthday card for my daughter on the table. The service almost made us feel like we were the only ones dining. The food was perfectly cooked, and delicious 😋. It was the Castle and decorated for Christmas, so it was beautiful. My daughter felt like a princess.

    We had two groups of six. They put us all together at a large table in the bar. That was great. Food was good. Some of the waffles weren’t hot but server warmed them up. Bacon was delicious. Decorations were beautiful.

    Nice ambiance, dining areas decorated for Christmas. Some issues with the front door slamming when people came in/went out. Food was nice in terms of flavor, but none of my party's food was hot (3 of us, each ordered different entree). Limited dessert selection (3 different kinds of cake, all with cream cheese icing). Overly exoensive, you’re really paying for the experience. But at that price point, food should at least be hot when it’s served.

    We stop here every time we are in Lexington, they were very busy, but took care of us well. We enjoy dining here when we are passing through Lexington. Make sure you have reservations so you can get in for your meal.

    It was our first opportunity to be alone in a very long time so we decided to have our own Thanksgiving and leave everyone behind. The Castle Farm was the end of our vacation but the beginning of our trip home to NC. What a way to start our day from the lattes to the fine breakfasts. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

    We had been dining in with our out of town guests twice this year. We all enjoyed the food, but the service of the servers were not impressed. We were a little bit disappointed. Overall, the experiences of those two visits were not bad but not impressive!

    Service was slow and we had to wait almost an hour for our food. We had to ask for the only refill for our drinks in the almost two hours. Food was good, but not really worth the price or wait.

    Fried chicken was so crunchy pieces were inedible & added country ham on biscuit almost overpowered. Dessert was comped when this was mentioned 🙂 Spinach & mushroom omelette had no bread with it. No soup available @ our reservation. Burger & Country ham with Brie were done well. Blueberry cornbread was deliciously different! Decor, ambience & service were excellent.

    Tried some regional foods, crispy pork belly and oxtail, but was very disappointed. Pork belly was a slab of fat with minimal meat crust and oxtail was very tender and fatty. We just didn't know what we were ordering. The accompanying vegetables and starches were very tasty but the risotto wasn't tender enough. Waitress Jami was quick to offer and provide alternate dishes. Lovely setting and food was elegantly presented.

    We have been to the Castle for dinner many times over the years. The food has been up and down over the years but last night was by far the worst experience we have had. The menu was not appetizing. It would be best for them to go back to one of their earlier menus. We are very disappointed because this restaurant is close to where we live, and we would love to go there on a regular basis. However, we will not be back until the menu changes substantially.

    Went to The Castle to celebrate two Birthdays and we had a great time. Started with a drink in the bar and CJ was so nice. He made us two custom cocktails. Lunch was delicious the two of us decided to share three entrees knowing we would take some home. ;) We both received a Birthday Card from the staff AND a free dessert to take home. It was great!!

    We were celebrating my daughter's 28th birthday and wanted to dine in a place that provided great food, ambience, and top-notch customer service. We were not disappointed! The Castle provided one of the best dining experiences that we have had to date. We will definitely return in the future to celebrate more special occasions. Thank you to our server and all the staff for making our celebration such a night to remember!

    Upon entering, the hostess was very friendly. She even allowed my wife and I to sit at another table than was planned at my request. It was our anniversary and the requested spot was more quiet. The soup of the day was fantastic. The macaroni and cheese was phenominal. In fact everything was good except the proteins. My chicken was undercooked on one side and cooked fine on the other. My wife's salmon was requested to be cooked medium but was dry. Our server, Hannah, was fantastic and I told her so. I would come back again if the menu offerings were a little different. But the overall experience was great!

    I expected more to be honest. The food was not good and we could have eaten better at Bob Evans. It cost us $76 for 2 people for brunch but the issue was the food. My omelet was undercooked so it jiggled. Just not a great experience at all. Way overpriced for quality. Also the way the restaurant wa sset up in completely separate sections felt cold and isolated.

    The place is beautiful and decorated so pretty. The food was not that great for the cost. Our waiter was very good and on point. I would recommend this place to be toured but not for dinner. I was disappointed

    My favorite place for brunch! I love the atmosphere, the tables always look gorgeous , and everyone is so nice and friendly! Be sure to go up on the roof and see the beautiful blue grass view! I usually always have a reservation!
