   Lovely restaurant good quality food a little salty so be careful if you’re watching your sodium intake. Drinks were amazing. Had a really good time with my friends will definitely go again. A little pricey so watch your wallet 😅

   Way too crowded. The people seated less than arms length to either side of us were talking to each other over our table and conversation. Several tap choices empty and ended up with a can of beer. Food wasn't as good as it's been before. Not the best night I've had there in recent times. I'm saying yes to recommending but there should be a "maybe" option. If it's a bad experience next time, it'll be the last time.

   The service was good. The Flatbread pizzas, chicken wings and spicy Thai bites were good. However, the Nacho Daddy with taco beef was not good at all. Alot of starch. We could taste the grease in the tortilla chips, waffle fries and tater tots. The ground beef was burnt. We expressed to the waitress that we did not like the nachos. We would like to compliment the restaurant as they removed the nachos from our bill. We would go back again but definitely not order the nachos.

   Birthday celebration on a Wed - First time and didn't disappoint. Friendly and attentive service, good food and really yummy martinis! Fuzzy peach is my fav. Will be back.

    We had made a reservation for our friend’s anniversary celebration, but when we arrived at the restaurant it was closed even though Google showed that the restaurant was open until 2am. We were not sent any cancellation email nor were we notified of the closure. This was a very unprofessional gesture from the restaurant and it ruined the celebration!

    There were ten of us so once it got loud it was a little hard to hear each other. But I can’t fault the food and service. Would definitely come again.

    The food and drinks were amazing as always, however, I have been here several times but this time in particular, our waitress was attempting to get us to leave when we were nowhere close to being finished. We had been there for just under an hour and the waitress was already handing us all our bills when not a single person asked for it… I was still going to order another few drinks. It was by birthday and I was looking forward to having a good time, but the waitress ruined my day when she would constantly ask us if we were done and ready for the bill. Unacceptable

    The cocktails were delicious. The food was over priced and underwhelming. We had oysters, whipped feta (didn’t come with pita, came with a sliced very hard baguette), coconut shrimp was great. The service was slow.

    The food was overcooked and our service was absolutely slow, when the restaurant was basically empty. It took our server 45 minutes to finally take our order after getting our drinks. We finally received our food 25minutes later, well most the simple side salad was forgotten until we told the waiter.

    Very very expensive for what you get. Lobster Mac n cheese was canned lobster not fresh and way more expensive considering Not bad. Food was good but not the prices! Not likely to do again as not enough variety.

    Too cold inside! Be very took my coat off. We also found it very dark. Came for the $1 oysters but the add on Instagram never said it was only for the first 12! I would not have come. Thankfully the waitress told us when we ordered.

    I made a reservation online and upon arrival was told that there was no table available. When noting that I had a reservation, I was told that I could sit at the bar. The manager stepped in and reiterated what the staff member told me. When I asked him what the point of making a reservation is if it doesn’t guarantee a spot, he then offered to “see what he could do”. It’s only after I noticed a few people exit the venue that I was then offered a table. By then, I was completely turned off. I will not be making reservations again at Cause and Effect and will encourage friends and family not to either. I experienced terrible customer service.

    Made a large reso two weeks in advance just to be told when I got there that there wasn’t seats available for the amount of people i had requested. (Requested 14 was only given seating for 10)

    Restaurant temperature was quite cold. Service was acceptable. Appetizer was goo but main (steak) was not good quality cut (too much gristle) and prices did not equate with quality.

    Check cutlery thoroughly before you put it out on tables, requested clean ones twice, first time brought new ones, dirty, second time brought new ones and dirty again

    Seated quickly on the patio but location of patio is very close to the road. Drinks ordered & served quickly although my beer was a little warm. Food was delicious served hot.

    We were attended to by a lovely lady (Asian) who did an amazing job in attending to us. There was only one chef in the house so food was relieve late but it was tasty. We sat outdoor and the noise was not bad at all.

    Everything was great except for the large number of people smoking just outside the gates weed (some right there with the bouncers) I don't care if you do or don't toke but keep at distance as per city bylaws. I came home smelling worse than a skunk..... I will try the place again maybe earlier in the evening and/or during the week since I don't think things will change but the service and the food was excellent and this is why I want to give this place another go

    We ordered appetizers but everything came at the same time. My husband ordered a ceasar salad but received a garden. It was fixed but it wasn't that busy. A shout out to the kitchen staff, it was so hot outside, it must have been unbearable in the kitchen, but our food was extremely good.

    One the limited wine menu, they were out of one white wine on a Friday night at 7pm. Of two desserts available one was not available, yet again on 7pm Friday, start of the weekend. And no coffee! Also out on the start of the weekend. There seems to be some management issues if this is the case.

    So our food took over one hour and we had only 5 in our party and still the cook mixed things up for one of our party. The server was fantastic and apologized several times about the wait . Knowing it took so long and we came 2 hours prior to our movie we just got done 20 min before the movie. Server was very upset for our wait. Manager was nice enough to not have us pay for our meal just drinks . Not too sure how fast i will return

    I went with my girlfriend for a two year anniversary, both of our meals were screwed up but we couldn’t get them fixed because our server in the hour and a half we were there probably came over three times to take her order to give us drinks and to give us the bill. He didn’t even come over to give us our food it was the cook. The one bathroom stall was out of order and water was leaking out of it into the middle of the bathroom and hallway. In the hour and a half that we were there we got one drink and I had to go up to the bar to ask for another water. Definitely not worth $120 bill and our entrées which were 30 and $40 apiece which were both wrong
