   Ate here before and it was delicious. This time the food was sub par on all our guests meals and expectations. Food wasn’t fresh. Food wasn’t hot. Will not give this location another chance.

   Thoroughly enjoyed my experience when it came to actually dining. The service though was highly disappointing. Servers would walk by knowing you needed something and would not return unless it was on their time. Granted they have other tables, but ours specifically would continuously walk outside to go be on his phone. Food was great though.

   Waited at the door as said "please wait to be seated" on a chain. No one came for about 5 minutes-just looked at us until I moved the chain & opened the door myself. The server was very kind but very forgetful. Didn't get our waters until having to ask 4/5 times & an hour in. Shrimp was yummy & so were the passionfruit mojitos & tres leche but that's about where it ends. The calamari was extremely chewy & was sent back but was sent back to us at the time we asked for the check 45 min later. The ceviche was flavorless other than the spicy chile & made us all sick with the runs. The steak mofongo was in a red sauce that tasted identical to ragu pasta sauce. The cod croquettes were mushy & lacked flavor. For these prices, I truly expected better & had high hopes. Very disappointed especially since we have been so sick to our belly's sick returning home.

   I had been impressed by everywhere else I'd dined in San Juan, but Cayo Blanco left me cold. My steak was undercooked ("medium" is not rare). My husband's fish was just "meh" and they gave him the wrong side. The waiter seemed like he couldn't wait to get away from us after we said we didn't need alcoholic drinks. Even when the waiter stopped at our table to check in, I was about to tell him about the steak and the side, but he just nodded and walked away. I too experienced the chain at the door that said "wait to be seated"... I didn't want to just move it and walk in even though my husband was already seated, but after no one came to the door, I just let myself in. It was awkward and underwhelming. When there are so many other options, go pretty much anywhere else. I don't know how they stay open if this is business as usual.

   We arrived at 7:00 on Sunday evening with a.reservation. Sat and ordered (2) appetizers which didn’t arrive until 7:55. We ordered entrees and immediately regretted it. The entrees came a little quicker than our appetizer. The food was good but the service was unacceptable.

    We had crab cakes as a starter and they were delicious. My wife had the lobster tail which was quite good. I had the paella which was awful - rice was dry with no flavoring and the fish was terrible- tasteless. Service was efficient.

    Demasiado costoso para la calidad de la comida. Un filete de pescado muy seco y duro.cantidad de la paella para dos personas solo comía una sola y por último un pedazo de esponja de metal en la langosta. No lo recomiendo

    We ate here for my husbands birthday. We shared a tuna appetizer which was very tasty. After a discussion with the waiter about how I liked my swordfish cooked (medium rare), it came to me well done and dry. My husbands fish was also overcooked but still edible. It was a very disappointing meal considering all the good reviews we had read. We will not be going back.

    Make a reservation, it’s a small place and seating limited. Enjoyed tapas and sangrias at Cayo Blanco, Alex was attentive and food was yummy. Get the octopus!

    We were going to have a full dinner, but as we kept trying the appertizers (they really were that good) we found that the main course would be too much. Food is top notch here. Service was okay, not great - seemed to be a case of one or two experienced servers and one not so much.

    Found Cayo Blanco during our family trip to Puerto Rico with a random search on Open Table. We could not have been happier! Food was outstanding…we started with the octopus (grilled instead of fried since my son needs to eat gluten free) and the grilled sausage with fresh chimichurri. Loved them both! We also had a pitcher of the Cayo Blanco sangria which was awesome. For entrees we had the seafood pasta, seared tuna w/ octopus salad, surf & turf, and the lobster tail. Everything exceeded our expectations! I mentioned earlier that my son eats gluten free (celiac), and we were super impressed with our server’s (Camilla) knowledge and willingness of the chef to make small modifications so he could eat without worry. She was also very much aware of the difference between something with no gluten ingredients and the risk of cross-contamination in a deep fryer that’s used for other items. Can’t wait to come back to Puerto Rico again, and will definitely come back to Cayo Blanco when we do!!

    -we have been here many times and food is always good - experienced a horrible young waitress on April 11. Rude, immature and crazy. She should be careful when people she assumed do not understand Spanish, actually do! - older waitress took over and things were good - get rid of your rude help.

    We ate at Cayo Blanco last night. The sangria was excellent. Ordered halibut, red snapper and paella, surf and turf and all were delicious. The waiter recommended another prep for my snapper that was steamed vs. fried. It was the moistest fish I’ve ever had! Service was very attentive and we were seated immediately at our reservation time. Great meal!

    Estuvimos por motivo de mi cumpleaños. Pedimos un sampler y estuvo muy bueno. También el pulpo. Comí la langosta con arañitas y aunque las arañitas estaban un poco sobre la sal, me gustó mucho la textura. Me prepararon un mojito de berries sin alcohol bien bueno y otro de coco riquísimo! A la hora del postre, me sorprendieron con un bizcocho de chocolate (luego de que me habían dicho que no estaba disponible) decorado y con una velita. Con ese detalle Alex, nuestro mesero, me hizo la noche!
