   First time since the redo. Bar area has a great vibe and the restaurant area is much improved with the seating and ambience. Just feels more warm and cosy now, never noticed the gorgeous beamed ceilings and heavy draperies add to the overall rich feeling. Menu redo is great, and the food was excellent, as well as the value. All staff our table interacted with were exceptional. We were four in our party and stayed late, and they accommodated us without rushing us out the door. Will definitely return!

   Great food and great atmosphere! Definitely different from the old seasons! Food was excellent and ambiance was great. The bar area is beautiful and having a DJ there definitely made it more youthful. The only thing I will say it's very dark in there and we couldn't read the menus!

   There are three rooms from which to select to dine. I would advise staying away from the bar area as the music level could be a little high and very busy. Service was good, except for a pause at the end while we waited for our checks. Wine selection is excellent and priced reasonably. Food was good and generous and served hot. I would recommend the onion soup which, made of veal stock was outstanding. We also had the burrata, which was excellent. The duck confit was outstanding, very crispy other skin, and served with some beans and sausage a very good dish.

   Our group of four adults first time dining at Ce Soir, formally Season’s, under new ownership and a new management team. Beautiful re-design and renovation making the ambiance very nice. Our Server, Alexandria, was a excellent and the wait staff very good. Our appetizers/salads are entrees were all outstanding…..tasty, delicious and cooked perfectly. A great new French-American downtown Oakville restaurant… thumbs up!

   We had visited last year when this was Seasons - Ce Soir is possibly under new management. From the time we walked in and up until we left, we were treated very well. Our server, Alexandra, was very attentive, helpful and very nice to talk to. The food was amazing. I started with a Cocktail - La Vie En Rose - which was very refreshing and perfect for summer. We started off with Salmon Crudo (hubby), Burrata (pour mois), and then for the mains, we had the Rack of Lamb (hubby) and Mushroom Crepe Gateau (pour mois). The Mushroom Gateau was a true revelation - the best vegetarian entree I have ever had. Hats off to the Chef - nicely presented. Just a comment that the Crepe was a bit too thick and chewy - Had to leave most of the crepe because of that. Maybe a lighter crepe would be better. But the filling itself was awesome with different flavors bursting in the mouth!!! We finished our meal with Strawberry Clafoutis (which we did not like much) and some Spanish Coffees. All in all very good and we will definitely visit again. A few suggestions: Maybe add a few more vegetarian Appetizers, A lighter Crepe for the Mushroom Gateau with some herbs sprinkled in the Crepe batter to make it prettier.. A few more French Desserts

    The ambiance was lovely, the service outstanding but the food was really nothing special. Foie gras should be very special for the price, but this treatment (pickled strawberries on the plate? Really?) was too far from the classic to be repeated. Bone marrow with escargot was tasty. The French fries were fresh cut and well seasoned but did not come with mayonnaise, as is traditional in a restaurant that purports to be French. My mushroom pasta was good, but then again, what pasta with a cream sauce is not delectable? And the dessert of profiteroles with chocolate ice cream was really same old, same old. They should either hire a real pastry chef or buy the creative products from Nadege down the street. Would we return? Jury is still out.

    Certainly not as good as the ratings food was mediocre, was not hot, had to ask for more water wine selection was poor no Riesling wine , over priced for what it is. Love you. Patio is nice but very noisy. From the road.

    We sat on the patio and the service was great. Staff are very attentive and took the time to answer any questions we had. The food was better than expected and even better than we last visited when the restaurant was still called Seasons. The mushroom ravioli is homemade and was amazing. I took a peek inside the restaurant and it has been totally upgraded and transformed. They still have the warm exposed brick walls but have added cozy booths and a long bar. It feels more upscale and would be great for special occasions. We will definitely back again.

    Went there twice this week because we really enjoy the food and ambience. Last night, Saturday April 15 we went before a show. My wife had French onion soup to start and ravioli for dinner. I had foie Gras to start with lamb chops for dinner. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    We enjoyed a lovely dinner, however the volume ramps up quickly due to the music being set to high for enjoyable conversation. The food was good but my Branzino was very boney, so I had to eat with caution. Other than that everything was very nice, nice wine list, ect. Note: We were told it’s gone more French, that being said dishes lacked the signature French sauces that elevate dishes to the next level!

    Not the same Season’s as before where previous owner George added a personal touch. More corporate now which is probably what new owners want. Service friendly but very slow - large gaps in time with no visible waitress. Prices high, cheapest bottle of wine on menu - $55. Value proposition has dropped. Lots of aggressive competition now in Oakville where prices are still high but service offering better. A lot of good serving staff have left the industry for more stable 9-5 jobs.

    The overall experience was quite lovely. The food tasted terrific, the ambience was nice and welcoming, but the service was not so great. Our server was very sweet and made a decent recommendation, but the hostess who greeted us was off putting and rude, as well as the wait for our food was longer than expected. Overall an enjoyable evening had between the 2 of us, but hoping the next time we return that those few things improve.
