   NO CULINARY EXPERIENCE-should have known when a NYC restaurant is completely empty on a sat nite. Calamari clearly from frozen box. Rest same. Staff sweet probably felt bad for us. If you still like Chef Boy R' D, this is the place for you. Most disappointment ever ! Don't think an onion has ever been diced there. Pic were completely deceiving. Gave impression is was upscale. Actually they let 4 street strays come in and use bathroom. It was bad. an absolute thumbs down.

   The staff was very nice and helpful to explaining the food and to accommodate our needs, we had martinis to start and a bottle of Chianti with our meal, very nice paired with meat balls appetizer and pork osso bucco, strapless dinner and fries! ! We are coming back with our family again

   Took my daughter and granddaughter, who were visiting from Boston, to Ceci’s last Friday. We had a wonderful time with good and reasonably priced food and drinks. Service was outstanding. I was disappointed for the owner that the place was not packed. It should have been. Would highly recommend.

   We had the gluten free fettuccine Alfredo. It was more like Alfredo noodle soup. The noodles needed to be cooked longer.

   The staff was courteous and attentive. The food was delicious. The chef even came out from the kitchen and asked if we were enjoying our meal. The staff was spot on with our needs. It was a very quiet, very enjoyable dining experience. We made reservations and arrived half an hour early. The restaurant was nearly empty, we had no issue getting seated. We will be back.

    Cafe Ceci has become our go-to spot for dinner before a Broadway show. Service and fare are excellent and the location can't be beat, particularly if coming into Manhattan via Metro North.

    We were here 2 times before in 2019 and loved it . We decided to come to New York so wanted to go back . It was very disappointing. Menu so small . No sides. To limited for someone who is a fussy vegetarian. Would never go back !

    Found Ceci online and decided based on reviews. Unfortunately, none of us were thrilled with our meals. The salmon was…fine. Vegetables seemed from frozen. The eggplant parm, according to my friend, was inedible. The service, was very good, however.

    Service was very friendly and knowledgeable! Accommodate my wife’s need for Gluten Free! I had the gnocchi Amatricciana very flavorful and my wife had the penne gluten free bolognese and she loved! We started with burrata cheese and tomatoes and calamari that were very good also! We also had a bottle of the barolo wine that was a nice match with our meal, suggest by our waiter! We shared a gluten free chocolate cake that I liked very much and my wife loved it !

    Can always count on a wonderful meal at Ceci’s! It’s our go to whenever we head to NYC going back to the days when it was Ciro’s on 48th and 8th. The staff can’t do enough for you, the food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable for a restaurant located in the theater district. It’s a hidden gem! My husband had the pork osso bucco and said it was one of the best he’s had. Marcello (one of the owners) is the best and made off the menu items for myself and my son. That’s why we keep going back, they treat you like family! Sooo happy they survived covid so we can eat here for years to come!

    Our glasses were dirty to start. We ordered the house salad, it was good, but WAY too much dressing. I had the lobster ravioli, the sauce was ok, nothing special. I would not go back.

    As always Ceci’s was absolutely fabulous! The entire staff is always gracious, courteous and know the secret to great hospitality! Our meals were delectable and the ambiance was pure perfection!! Mentioned Ceci’s and all 3 college kids joined us! Family approved time and time again! Thank you for such a memorable dining experience! So looking forward to our next visit!     Food was decent but my pasta wasn't super flavorful and my c shrimp a tad overcooked. Husbands pasta was not hot. Cheese ravioli was out of this world. They were accommodating and attentive. Did have options for celiacs

    The meatballs in the children's spaghetti and meatballs tasted and looked like frozen meatballs. The orecchiette was flavorless and the sauce tasted store bought. I hade the lobster ravioli and it was good, but I assuming not homemade.

    It’s been COVID-19 and three years since our last visit. It was great to be recognized after so long, to see this wonderful place has survived and that so much of once was us still! We will be back again and again!

    I used to go a couple of times a year pre theater. Always good. COVID really took its toll. Very limited menu. Completely empty. I'm surprised it's hanging on.
