   I had the salmon, was delicious! came with maple veggies roast beets and asparagus on a bed of mash potatoes. Exquisite presentation and very tasty with the maple. Also tried the bacon wrapped maple carrots. I don't normally like carrots but the way these are done id eat them every night!

   My husband and I recently had an amazing experience and meal at The Cedar Room. Our server, Samuel, was perfectly attentive and personable and made a great wine suggestion. Our meal itself was also outstanding. I ordered the salmon and it was done perfectly, with so much flavour and great sides. My husband ordered the beef tenderloin and asparagus and said it was one of the best steak dinners he had had in a long time. The ambiance, the view, the service and food all make this restaurant well worth the trip. We would highly recommend and can’t wait for our next trip back.

   The food at the Cedar Room is exquisite. We have eaten at numerous fine dinning restaurants in Edmonton and our experience here was absolutely on par, if not near the top of our list. Can’t say enough about the food, but would like to highlight the Chateaubriand. It was literally the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few. Absolutely worth the money and experience - highlights recommend!

   This place was great and you can tell they really pride themselves in customer service. Our waiter was very friendly. The chef even came out twice to see how our appetizers and main courses were. Good and presentation was awesome. Overall a great time from start to finish

   The food was decent but it was $42 for a very underwhelming piece of Halibut the size of a deck of cards with potatoes and greens It took 1.5 hrs for our food to come out. Overall not impressed.

   Food quality was great. However, service was poor. The server barely came to check on us, never asked if we wanted any additional drinks and we waited over 30mins for our desert. We finally ended up walking out without the desert and told the hostess when the server finally figured out we have left to charge the bill to our room.

    Spent the weekend there celebrating my birthday with close friends and my husband. Our server really went above and beyond to ensure we all enjoyed our meals. They didn't make a fuss when we were the last table left and gave us the time to finish off our wine and desserts. I was even serenaded by a lovely staff member when they brought the cake out. Lovely birthday dinner! Thanks Cedar Room!

    Our service was fun and attentive. The atmosphere is lively with an open kitchen. We were pretty loud too. The cocktail menu was really good and all mountain themes. For the mains we had the salmon, halibut and pork entrees. All delicious and perfectly presented. Well worth the price. It’s my second time here and it didn’t disappoint.

    We were sat promptly. Our server was friendly. The food was expensive, but the quality did not reflect that. The sauce that came with the steak was lukewarm and the steak itself was not impressive, the Keg consistently does a better job with their meat. Our dinner plates were not removed from the table and we sat for a long time after eating. The manager finally came to our table to ring the credit card through and ignored that all four guests had dirty main course plates on the table.

    The elk was a little tough, but the porkchop the next night was spectacular. Staff are very service oriented and professional. I really liked the variety on the wine list. Wine priced reasonably.

    Came for NYE. We were not told before hand that it was only a set menu, at 7pm on NYE good luck getting food elsewhere. Restaurant was freezing as was the food. Half way through dinner my wife and I put on our down jackets. At $75 dinner would of been good value but at $150 it was very lacking. Soup was cold, dishes that should of been warm were almost frosty. Many dishes seemed prepared hours previous. Waiter wouldn't ask the kitchen to make me a ginger and honey tea, "we don't have that", even though we had it earlier in the day. The Chef needs to evaluate what is coming out of the kitchen before sending plates and if what they sent was up to their standards maybe Cedar Room needs a new Chef. At this point I'm not sure what would draw me back. Save your money and eat at the other places. Food at Blacktail Bar was awesome which comes from the same kitchen. Better at bar food than fine dining!
