Century Plaza Hotel - C|PRIME Ratings and Reviews
Nice surroundings. Great good and excellent service.
Service and food were excellent. Salmon and lamb were on point. The cauliflower side tasted like chicken wings. Tiramisu was delicious. Polite waitstaff. Would recommend
Excellent. Steaks and lamb were prepared beautifully. Can give Gotham and Hy’s a run for their money.
Quiet, elegant hotel restaurant which quality ingredients and upscale dishes.
Very professional service
Great server and good came fast. Loved the truffle parm fries
Ok not great
For what you get the food is horrendously overpriced. I don't know how they think it is reasonable. No wonder it's not busy at prime time.
We were staying at the hotel, which was very nice for the price. They gave us a buy one dinner, get one dinner free. The entrees were good, but their salad selection was poor and expensive.
This dining experience was wonderful and one of the very best in Vancouver. We dine out lots and in what is touted as the Best restaurants in Vancouver and none came close every dish that we had was top quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Thanks CPrime and a job well done.
It was OK not fabulous. The eatery is extremely dark & stark, the staff is friendly & the food OK. The restaurant is clearly in an upstart mode somewhat hidden away within the hotel & off Burrard. I will return to make a new experience!
Food was so so
The food was very good, and I really appreciated that the room was spacious, having enough space between tables and making it quiet. I don't like the back ground noise and music becoming foreground.
The service was good enough except that the server paid attention to only one of us and ignored the other (which is me) so completely. I don't need her love or anything, but as a basic manner, the server at least should have acknowledged my presence from time to time. At least, that's what I do when I serve others just to be polite : )
Oh, and also, I don't know any Italian or much about wine, so I showed the wine list and asked the server if "rosse" is "rose". I have red and white at home but no rose, so I wanted to have rose. The server answered yes and I ordered one from the list, and it was red. Very red.
One more thing, we ordered two kinds of pasta, and they were both very good, but they had very similar sauce. Since the server knew that we are sharing, it would have been great if she had suggested a different dish. Over all, not very impressive service, so I will probably not choose this place for a more important occasion.
Came here with my friends for dine out Vancouver because the menu caught my attention. There were so many choices and the choices were also different from other menus. Definitely very glad we decided on this location. The ambiance was very classy and romantic. I'll be coming back here for special occasions.
A very nice find in the West End. Really great staff and the food is amazing and great value.
CHECK IT OUT!!
The restaurant was very beautiful. We were seated in a well populated section of the restaurant, but despite many servers being in close proximity multiple times, we sat unattended for over 10 minutes. I attempted to wave down a gentleman who seemed to be running away avoiding contact. We also weren't given a drink menu. When our server finally came around to talk to us we had plenty of time to decide what we were going to eat and ordered right away. We were poured water that tasted disgusting and had to wait until our appetizers to arrive before we could ask the expose to grab us some new glasses of water. The appetizers weren't bad. When our entrees arrived our order had been mistaken and we were brought a wrong dish. We were only a party of two ordering off of a dine-out menu so our order should have been easy enough. After going with no attention at the beginning of our visit it seemed like the server just couldn't get enough of us. She was constantly coming by to the point where it got quite annoying and felt like she was rushing us so she could end her shift. The lamb loin was delicious and I would absolutely order it again. The gnocci wasn't bad as well, very rich and filling. The lemon tart dessert was delicious as well, but it was really the only interesting choice on the dessert menu.
Great food. Went for dineout. Had the calamari steak for appetizer and it was really good.
Also, the lamb loin is amazingly tender.
The Dine Out Menu was great！ worth the price
1st time trying out this restaurant from the Dine Out Vancouver list. Chose this location because it has the lemon tart as the dessert. The initial menu has the baked clams as the appy but it was replaced by squid steak which is very different from many other restaurants. It has a good portion too. Girlfriend had the octopus, in which it was very tender and a very different texture experience.
Next was the main course, I had the lamb loin (again in a generous portion) and girlfriend got the gnocchi with wild B.C. mushrooms in porcini truffle cream sauce. She immediately fell in love with in, ate half and packed the other for her lunch. Each person was $30 with a dessert as well. We came back again with her family the following week.
I loved the service that was provided by the restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxing. This place is perfect for family dinners and first dates. Everything exceeded my expectations of the place, except the amount time it took for the food to arrive at our table. Overall it would definitely be a place for me to visit again.
We got our food cold and my friend has an allergy to onions... we were told the salad had no onion at all but was covered in onion powder! Staff was very new and not knowledgeable at all! We sent our meal back and it took quite awhile to get new food!!
Good place for a group, good service, good food & value for a downtown restaurant. Wine list is too complicated. The waiter also had trouble with the IPad. Wine listing on the menu by the glass only. Waiter didn't know the cost of a bottle so we ordered 4 glasses!
Overall a pleasant venue.
The three of thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. One had roasted duck breast, one had the braised veal shank and the third had the grilled tenderloin with green peppercorn sauce--all excellent. Starter salad, desserts and single-glass wine choices were very good, too. Tables well spaced and noise level low enough for conversation even with compromised hearing.
Very pricy. Food came out luke warm. Hotel needs upgrading. Pool area tiles and baseboard in a state of disrepair.
The TV was behind the couch rather than in front of it. We were on the 21 st floor but could hear the street noise very loudly. Sirens etc.
Plus: nice little kitchenette. IGA nearby if you want to cook.
disappointed. food was average for the price paid. service slow, parking terrible. really wanted this to be a better experience - thought i was finding a new gem, but not to be.
Large wine list, on an iPad, allowing for more detail on your selection, if you need it. That was good. Menu had lots of different options, everything was good. The wine list was the stand-out I think, although I was certainly happy with all the food too.
Relaxed atmosphere; food was tasty and wine service good. Server was okay; but seemed a little unpolished in demeanor.
This is an amazing restaurant, serving excellent food, elegant decor, and dynamic service. Great for romantic date, or business meeting. Highly recommended.
