Overall our dining experience at Chairman's Steakhouse was very good. The food was exceptional, although the steak was a little salty according to my own personal taste. If you are looking for an amazing place for a celebratory meal, then I would definitely try this steakhouse. You will not be disappointed!

This was hands down my worst reataurant experience ever in my life. Our reservation was 6:30 and our food came at 8:30. 2hrs later. What's worse is the poor communication (none) during the wait, except "Food is almost here" the manager (who seemed to have very little customer service skills) eventually came over and I asked if food was almost here and he said he couldn't guarantee it, and with a cheerful smirk said "We must be good though, look how busy it is for a tuesday" wow. They did give us a discount, but a heart felt apology from the manager would have meant far more. Food was ok, but if you want nice steak AND good service, go to Hys or Caesar's. This place is simply not worth it. First and last time I will eat here. Total disappointment.

My Wife and I celebrated her birthday here. The setting of the restaurant is super nice, The food was fabulous, service from our waitress was lack lustre. We tried to order appetizers and proceeds to tell us the kitchen prefers to receive the whole order all at once. So we waited and ordered drinks. Meanwhile the tables that were seated after us (a bigger party of people) were commencing orderers getting the “meat spiel” and receiving drinks even before the waitress came back to our table with our drinks. Finally they returned to take the order. We ordered received our appetizers/meal in a timely matter. Once completed the main course another server came to clean our table. Where we proceeded to sit for 15 minutes with an empty table waiting for the waitress to come back with the hit towels and ask about dessert. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 2.5 hours our reservation was at 6:15 pm, and we were annoyed so we skipped dessert and asked for the bill. So in my conclusion if you’re a smaller party that isn’t suited up to the nines, they probably won’t cater to you as well as a bigger table, which is sad because everyone deserves the same service regardless. Would recommend if you want a good steak, and delicious food and willing to put up with the poor service.

I let our server Sam chart out our dining experience and he did not disappoint. We had a wonderful and relaxing meal with outstanding food, drinks, desert and service. This has definitely been a super special experience that you can get in a amazing location. Baked potato, strawberry lemonade and creme brulee were the hi lights for me!

Our server, Richard, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and took pride in his work. It was an amazing and full experience from cocktails, appetizers, wine and our meal, to coffee and dessert; there were no disappointments. We left satisfied and feeling good, surprising with how much we indulged, which speaks to the quality of the food.

Went there to celebrate 17th wedding anniversary. Fantastic fine dining in SE Calgary. Great vibe, excellent service and amazing food! The only issue was it was a little cold in the dining room. Other than that it was a great experience.

Lovely atmosphere, our server, Dan, was attentive without being annoying. Food was beautifully presented, and the flavours and choices was second to none. The only thing I would say is, the stri t dress code was not enforced. People in jeans is not what I expected to see in the main restaurant.

Having heard varying opinions for Chairman's Steakhouse, my wife and I thought we would go there for our anniversary. We started in the lounge for happy hour and a drink. My wife's cocktail and my beer were good and the atmosphere of the lounge is very nice with music playing but not overly loud which is nice. I'm a bit of a stickler for service, and after our server brought us our drinks, she didn't reappear for some time, when in fact I would have likely ordered an appetizer. We moved in to the dining room for supper and after getting settled, had a nice conversation with our server. We ordered an appetizer which appeared shortly after. We then ordered our main course which were an 8 ounce filet and 14 oz ribeye. We saw our server once in the hour it took to receive our main course which to me was not very timely. Due to the fact that it was now 8 pm and we had been there 3 hours, we decided not to partake in desert. Quite honestly, the ambiance and decor is nice, but I believe you can have as good a meal at Cattle Baron for 2/3 the price. Our time consisted of 5 drinks, an appetizer, 2 main courses with two side dishes for $335 including tip. I'm glad we came and tried Chairmans, but I know we have better value options out there. The biggest takeaway for me is always the service. I have been to other cities where the service is jaw-droppingly phenomenal and I will gladly tip very well for it as I know this is the main source of income for our servers and kitchen staff. Service in Calgary is ho-hum and the "SERVICE" industry needs to start to pick up their game. One would think that Chairmans would serve as an example of this, but unfortunately it does not.

It has been a pleasure going back to Chairman’s again and again. The steaks are top notch and consistent at that. You can’t go wrong with the Waldorf salad or/and rice pilaff (my go to sides). Yes you need to drop some pretty pennies for a meal here….for me, I reserve it for special occasions. My daughter is not a foodie but we went here a few days ago (first time for her) for her mum’s birthday and she is already planning a repeat visit for her own birthday coming up in a few weeks!

The tenderloin we ordered we asked for a medium well done and it came out so well done It was hard to cut through. They did bring us a new one and covered the cost of the steak but it did take an extra hour for our dinner. The asparagus we ordered had something crunchy like sand in it, so we weren’t impressed with that.. The crème brûlée dessert was delicious though.

We went for our anniversary dinner. Acknowledged by the hostess, but, absolutely nothing from our server. Moved from an outside table to the lounge because of weather prior to seating. No biggie. Overall decent experience, however, our server was non existent. We were underwhelmed for an almost $200 meal. 2 Caesar salads, 2 steak sandwiches ( 1 over cooked) a glass of wine and a beer. We’ve been before and will be back. Just a little disappointed this time.

We celebrated our 13th wedding Anniversary here and It was an amazing experience, I loved the steak presentation, ambiance was awesome. The service is very good. Thanks for the Anniversary treat (dessert) of sticky toffee pudding with gelato it’s delicious. I love my drink Jaded Sunset is yummy and we had Tomahawk cooked in perfection, I will go back there again for sure and bring my crew haha. I highly recommend this fine dining-restaurant. Oh, and the toilet is bidet! 👍 my first time to see bidet in a restaurant. We have it in our house that’s why I appreciate it so much 👌

An exceptional dinning experience. Meal was expensive but worth every penny. The 36 oz smoked ribeye was by far the best steak we have had in Calgary coupled with delicious appetizers and sides. Staff were friendly, inviting and very informative to help guide our menu selections and the in-house sommelier helped us pick the perfectly paired wine! Highly recommend
