   BEST restaurant hands down in Maple Ridge. The best part is they have a chef that rotates Cream Brûlée flavour weekly!! We go just to try the new flavours!! Best tomato soup in the lower mainland.

   We had an amazing date night dinner. The traditional Sunday Roast Beef dinner was tender and juicy. Although a side of veggies would have been nice. And the Duck was outstanding!!!!! A aide of bread or buns would be a welcome addition to sop up the delicious sauces.

   the table was already set up for my husband using a wheelchair. The young girl was extremely attentive to us about the timing between the plates and wine,etc. The food was hot and delicious as usual. We are always satisfied.

   Wow, truly a little hidden gem! I said to my partner that it was in the top 5 best meals I've ever had. I had the risotto, with the pork belly to start.

    the management and service was excellent. the food was good and when i had an issue with my dish they comp'd it AND gave me a free dessert. it was loud but every table was full as well.

    The ambience was not good as we were upstairs in the back room. Music was way too loud. Food needed seasoning although will say my husbands tenderloin was exceptionally good.

    My partner and I had our 18 year anniversary of when we first met so decided to try something new and it was amazing. Far better meal then we could have gotten at a Keg, Milestones, Cactus Club, Boathouse or anywhere else. The staff were absolutely amazing and our allergies were asked when we entered, the kitchen staff went through all the ingredient lists and relayed the information on what we could eat. The gluten free is fairly typical and advertised on the menu but my garlic allergy is always hard but they handled exceedingly well and made it memorable ❤️

    We dined at Chameleon’s last year and we had such a great experience. We decided to go back again this year and were very disappointed. We purchased the wine pairing. This is where I was disappointed. My first pairing was a white Sauvignon Blanc to pair with my first course. I received my wine, but no my first course. I decided to drink my wine before it got anymore warmer. It was a long time before we were served of first course. We watched people that came into dine after us, receive their food first. We had to wave our server down so I can order a glass of wine. I had nothing to drink on my table, other than water. My husband didn’t care for the pork belly. He said it was very dry. I did agree, but I was so hungry, I didn’t care. The portions were very small. We were both hungry when we left. The ambiance was good, but very loud.

    I’ve been to Chameleon many times, since they first opened, in fact. Last night, the service was terrible. I requested a regular table (not a high top) and we were seated at a high top. We each ordered a glass of wine to start and it took well over half an hour to arrive at our table. We observed people arriving and being seated and getting their mixed drinks before our wine was brought to us! When I finally caught the attention of our server, she said he’s pouring it now. The fellow behind the bar was in fact pouring a wine flight, not our 9oz glasses. When the server did bring the wine, she just placed the glasses and small decanters on the table and away she went again, leaving us to pour the wine ourselves. She also left the menus on the table for our entire meal. Thankfully, the kitchen had it together and our food was delicious. Had this been our first visit, we certainly wouldn’t be coming back. As I mentioned, it’s always been a great overall experience at Chameleon but last night was very disappointing. It’s a lot of money to spend on a meal and then to end up very displeased with the service.

    Well above the norm menu choices and ingredients. Gourmet without the haughtiness some associate with the word. In a class by itself especially in the Ridge-Meadows area.

    We had to wait 15 minutes for our table even though we had reservations. A seating area would have been nice while we waited. As soon as the staff saw that we were getting impatient they worked very hard and quickly to have us seated, which we appreciated very much. The first round of drinks were on the house which was also very nice of them to do. We will be back.

    The service was terrific. We had a Charcuterie board to start that was awesome . I had to pick a Caesar salad for mains cause I was so full I knew I couldn’t eat what I originally planned on. My husband had the Salmon with Risotto. Food was exceptional . We will definitely be back !
