   What started out as what I though would be a lovely night turned sour with half a&& service and terrible communication between management and staff I had to send my food back twice at this point I told them don’t worry about it, manager processed to wanna give me the salad . definitely come here if you want your food cooked incorrectly.

   CharBar No.7 - Mountain Brook is an upscale sports bar. Lots of burger variations on the menu plus some plated entrées including salmon. Prices are moderate considering the location and food. (Good) Parking can be an issue in the congested area, so arrive early. Not too noisy either - but it wasn't a game night. No beer menu without QR code. We have "No phones at the table" rule and our server was uninformed about the choices. Print the damn drink choices.

   Sports Bar with mediocre bar food. Need to work to be good at burgers and not try to do too much. Good possibilities just need to work on the food.

   I ordered the shrimp scampi. Menu says it is topped with diced tomatoes but mine didn't have any. It was literally a little bowl of shrimp and butter with some cheese on top and toast. Pretty underwhelming.

    Great food, Great Service. The only issue we had was no one’s fault. Did not realize it was a sports bar atmosphere. There was a group cheering for one of the bowl games. Not judging them. I would have normally been an apart of the group lol. Was just really loud and obnoxious and wasn’t expecting that for dinner. Would still go again.

    Hostess and waitress were less than expected. Curt and dismissive. The holiday cocktail I ordered came out with no alcohol. However they did correct that willingly.

    Great place to watch a ball game or just enjoy a casual dinner. Outstanding food, from several salads (recommend the wedge) to a variety of sandwiches to steaks! We’ve been here 4 or 5 times and are never disappointed! Dee did a great job taking care of us. We will be back!

    Char Bar has become our new favorite place for both lunch and dinner. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. The service is great and prices are very reasonable. Also very comfortable seating

    Dinner was fantastic. We had pasta and a salad and both were absolutely wonderful. Large portions (both had to get take out boxes). Our server was very attentive, friendly and took great care of us. The food came out quickly and correctly. Definitely recommend CharBar for a casual night out.

    Any upscale sports bar with delicious better-than-bar food very near our Grand Bohemian Hotel in walkable Mountain Brook. We enjoyed it!

    Waited on service for drinks. Got served the wrong drinks. Ordered food. Waited 30+ minutes for cheeseburgers and fries, which were undercooked (still pink and cold in the middle), and wrong toppings. Did not return orders due to not wanting to wait any longer. Waitstaff did not collect plates or anything to pre bus the table. Had to go find the waitstaff after 30 + minutes of waiting on the check.

    What a truly horrible experience. When we arrived, our server took our drink orders. All four of us requested certain rum. The waiter made a big deal about verifying they had the rum. When he return to the table, and brought us our drinks, we all knew that the rum was not what we had ordered. When one of the members of my party asked about this, the waiter claimed they “could not find the empty bottle that the rum was poured out of.“ He did nothing to rectify this clear error. The waiter later asked if we wanted to have another round of the drinks. I previously asked him since they could not find the “empty bottle“ that they must be out of the rum we had requested for the evening. He said they must be. Our food was forgettable at best. The fried mushroom appetizer consisted of lightly fried mushrooms which were raw in the center. Our waiter suggested the tater tots as a side for our meals, which were greasy and awful. My wife and I both had hamburgers, they were OK, but certainly not worth the price paid. What we did not know prior to going to the restaurant was that it was basically a sports bar. We could barely hear each other speaking because the audio for one of the football games was blaring over the speakers in the restaurant. Finally, when we requested a check from the waiter, I heard him say something to the effect of he would be glad to get us “out of his section,” or words to that effect. I’m not sure if there was a manager working at this location. If there had been, I would’ve been glad to talk to them and tell them about the awful service, the wrong drink service, and probably even addressed the poor quality of the food. All in all the experience was atrocious. Our party of four was just desperate to get out the door by the time we left

    Made a reservation since it was our first time, so not sure if it was needed for a Sunday evening. No reservation was needed. Service was good. Waitress friendly and attentive when we had to replace our water since it tasted bad. And, then again when my daughters salmon was undercooked. Otherwise the food was fine. Price was about what you would expect in this current economy... $75 plus tip for 4 of us without drinks. Nice place to meet friends or family as there is something for everyone.

    awesome food and awesome service. We arrived 30 minutes early and they sat us right away. Lots of tvs and one big projector screen. Fine dining sports bar is the best way to describe it. My wife and I love this place!

    It was loud because they sat us right in front of the service/kitchen doors! There were other tables but he sat us there.I didn’t speak up about it because we were with out of town guests, next time I will. It was awfully noisy and hard to communicate! Very disappointed with the experience.
