Chart House Restaurant - Annapolis
Awesome food, awesome service. Great Birthday celebration.
We ordered from their special ‘chefs table’ menu which was a 3 course meal. The food was just okay. The salmon had little flavor and very basic ingredients. The steak masala was extremely boring and disappointing. The dessert was okay and the appetizers were pretty good. I would potentially try it again.
I'm never disappointed when I visit Chart House. I'd recommend this place for lunch, dinner and anything you can think of.
The red snapper was much too dry. We should have sent it back.
Wonderful! The staff and food were amazing!
My seven guests each had different menu items and each one was delicious. One member had food alergies and our waitress was outstanding in answering our questions. Will definitely go back next visit to Annapolis.
nice clean restaurant with a great view and very friendly staff!
Serivice was great, our waiter was attentive but not overwhelming.. drinks were great .. steak had a little slight burnt taste but with steaks sauce and mash it was not to noticeable. The crab dip would have been excellent but the bread they serve it with was entirely to hard, we used the bread that came in the bread basket . The crab cake was excellent no filler, shrimp cocktail for the price I do think they should give more than 5 but it was delicious. I would go back
New Year day
The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. The staff was still hospitable dispite the fact it was NYE. Only issue I had was I order a common old fashion at the bar waiting for my reservation, and was served one with a large orange slice and lots of ice. This just illustrated a dated beverage program that needs a little refinement.
I like this place for the atmosphere. The food could be better, but with the location and a few drinks somehow it’s a good time. Need to work on their clam chowder (was a little sour) and find a new version of crab dip entirely (this is Annapolis!).
The wait staff was great, Anessa in particular. Everybody's food was great, as expected, and we experienced no issues there either. And, this was on New Year's Eve.
We ordered shrimp cocktails, a decent bottle of wine, some of their signature cocktails, prime rib, filets, chicken dishes, and deserts. Loved it all. It's pricy, and we're not made of money, but we can see ourselves doing this once in a while.
Our only complaint was that we were seated in a smaller side room. We liked the ambiance of being in the main room from dining there in the past. Reservations are needed, and if taking a larger party (we were), you might be in that small room; I suspect smaller parties will be seated in the main room.
This was to celebrate New Years with friends and watch fireworks from Annapolis Harbor. I would rate all experiences with 10 stars if I could. Thank you Chart House staff for making an unbelievably great evening.
Dined here on NYE. Have been to the Chart House in Alexandria several times. The food is good, service and ambiance are fine. It is a solid restaurant. View depends on the table...
I have always enjoyed eating at the Chart House here in Annapolis. I love the salad bar and enjoy the menu. Sunday brunch is always a good choice now with the new window seating overlooking Spa Creek.
I proposed to my now fiance there, the staff was given a heads up and everything went very well.
Chart House is always a great place to go. I loved being there on New Year's Eve,but I did not like our table. I had really wanted to be closer to the front and being next to the bar took a bit away from the evening. I realize the place was mobbed, but our food entree came much to fast as we were not yet finished with our appetizer.
Annual family dinner celebration of New Years Eve.
All three generations enjoyed the time emencely
New Years Eve
New Years Eve dinner. Outstanding!
one of our favorite spots in town. steak came out a little over done but server saw and immediately took it back and had it completely remade very quickly, despite the restaurant being fully booked. coconut shrimp is the best!
To whom it may concern,
My family and I have been club members for many years. Chart House has been my favorite restaurant to go to for the past 10 years. I have had many dinners at the Annapolis location as well as several others around the country. I even took my wife there for our engagement dinner. I have never had a bad experience and have recommended many people over the years to dine at your establishment.
We decided to take my wife's cousin and wife to dine at the Annapolis location for new years eve dinner. They have never been and have always heard me rave about your restaurant. I was excited to have them join us and experience the ambiance that is your establishment.
The night was busy in the restaurant and we were seated fast and at a window. I was happy about that. Our waitress was very kind and was a great host. I told everyone to order whatever they liked (because usually, everything is Great!!). The drinks we great and the stack was as well. The hummus plate was not so good. The food we ordered for our meals were all overcooked. We had to have it redone and honestly the swordfish was a special that night and was not very good either. My wife's meal was so overcooked that she ended up not eating it. The waitress felt bad and compted the desert.
Overall the food was hot what I have come to love from your restaurant. I felt bad because I had never had a bad experience or dinner ever while dinning at your restuante. I was embarrassed since they were really looking forward to it and were disappointed at the food. My bill was 355.00. I have no problem spending that kind of money on dinner but at that cost we should not have had the issues we did with the food.
I dont know what happened in the kitchen, but it does make me weary to come back.
Meal was outstanding...service was great, atmosphere was great. Garrett was our server and was terrific, informative, professional. Knew the menu, gave good recommendations, couldn't have done a better job.
We had a table near ours that the gentleman was proposing to his soon fiance...Garrett helped with the surprise....went above and beyond. This couple will have a lasting memory as well ourselves.
We had a wonderful Dinner to celebrate our engagement. On arrival I asked if we could sit near the windows over looking the water. The host not only sat us close to the windows but also sat us early and gave us a champagne toast to go with our desert. Great Service!!
Server Christian was very attentive and friendly. I was quite happy with the entire experience with the exception of the parking experience in which I called the restaurant to make sure I was allowed to park in front of an adjacent business without being towed.
It was a special, family event. The Manager was great & their service was really special.
Great food and wonderful service on a very busy Saturday evening! Our waiter (Brandon P) was able to make menu recommendations with ease and was patient while our party partied!
The waitress and management, along with the chef were amazing!!!
Great dining experience!!!!
We've been there many times. This last time was terrible. I don't know if they are under new management or have new kitchen staff or what. This is a place we go about once a month. it was TERRIBLE this time. the music was loud, the restaurant was freezing, the food was not good...we even sent one meal back, should have sent others back.
The Chart House use to be the place to go in Annapolis. The salad bar was such a stand out, not so much anymore. Very average looking not worth $19.00 if you did not order a entree. The service was just average, just rattling off the wine list and menu not very engaging at all. Although the food was good it was not a standout. Sorry to say will not go back.
As it was Christmas night, the dining room was very busy and our server was distracted, at least;, if not scattered and unresponsive. Also, my portion of Rockfish was miniscule but everything else was delicious and well-portioned.
Excellent Christmas dinner overlooking the water, boats and night sky in historic Annapolis.
Great place for Christmas meal. We were fortunate to get a reservation, and we got seated at a table with a lovely waterfront view. Cream of crab suit was delicious. Our server Brandon was great. You could tell the restaurant is well managed and run. Only disappointment was they had run out of Prosecco.
Christmas dinner very enjoyable. John was a good server. Could have used more Christmas feeling.
Appreciated that restaurant open on Christmas Day. Seated promptly. Very nice atmosphere. Building very attractive. Service was good.
For a $34.00 dinner, my rockfish was small and overcooked, the baked potato was burnt on the bottom but the asparagus was wonderful. Each in our party of 4 had issues with the food. It felt like they staff was more interested in turning tables instead of quality dining. Too many other good restaurants in the area to go back to this one.
Christmas Day dinner was wonderful. It was our first visit and we will go again.
This was a lovely spot to enjoy a leisurely Christmas Eve dinner with a group of special friends. We were disappointed to be seated towards the rear of the dining room, thus no harbour/water view, and the service was not as swift as we had previously experienced, perhaps understandable given that it was a busy night for them. The food was good, although several of our friends found their dishes to be overly dry. It is a pricey restaurant but then again, I guess one is paying for the view as much as the cuisine. Would still go back, especially for special occasions.
