The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and super friendly! Food was delicious but our entrees took a while to come out because the kitchen got a bit backed up. No big deal, the appetizers came out quickly. Great spot, worth the drive from Edmonton!

Its our first time be Chartier. Atmosphere and interior are very chic and cosy. We had elk tartare was amazing with all the ingredients. Steak from Redtail farm are juice and sweet. Chef cook perfectly medium rare to taste steak original flavor. Strawberry key lime mousse are balace well sweet and sour. Definitely will come bcak again.

My friend and I shared this amazing sourdough bread with brûléed brie and green apples. She had the croissant & lox and I wanted a little but more of a Montreal flair and got the breakfast poutine. All the ingredients are locally sourced from Morinville Colony eggs, Irvings Farm bacon, and Old School Cheesery curds. The aesthetics of this place is charming and the servers are amazing

Excellent place to eat on many levels. Very tasty food, could of have used a little less spice, but that is a personal thing. So much culture and history involved with the place. It was more than just a place to eat, it was like going on an adventure.

Unfortunately this did not hit the mark. Les Tomates was delicious, the seafood appetizer made me ill, the mussels were fishy and the flatbread was oversalted. Did not order entree because I felt so bad. Wouldn't go back.

The food was very good although not quite as advertised. "four courses, each one featuring spring lamb" had me wondering how lamb would be featured in the Lemon Tart dessert. Otherwise, a terrific meal a short drive from the city.

It was our first time eating here. It was for the Mother’s Day brunch for my wife. I honestly wasn’t sure what I reserved prior to arriving, that being how great the food was. We would definitely eat here again the next time we are in Canada and the area.

Amazing food and atmosphere! You can tell all the staff take pride in their work. The food was great. The bakery stuff was also very tempting. If I were to nit pick, I wish the brisket wasn't so hidden in my dish. Also, busy night problem, I'm pretty sure something got mixed up in reservations because we got bumped to the bar. But the bar seats were very comfy and we still got great service!

We had the Canoe multi-course special. Each course was stupendous. The service was friendly and and attentive, The chef came to describe most of the courses when they arrived; she described them as if she was as proud of them as her kids!
