Chef Khalid continues to excel with his restaurant Chaud. From the minute you are welcomed to the moment you eat that last piece of dessert you know and feel that you are having a wonderful culinary experience. Food and service are top class. We had appetizers- pork belly and a seafood dish, lamb and snapper with a molten lava cake for dessert.
Not worth the money......pretentious at best!!!! Food was below what wa expected.......servers were nice but overwhelmed...... they allowed young children on Valentines......
Overall would not go there again if I had a Choice!!!!!!
Their reputation for the top restaurant in Trinidad is well earned. Simply outstanding.
It's amazing that the restaurant takes reservations while hosting a private event. We weren't allowed to get in. It's a real shame from what it seems to be a classy venue.

The menu options were sufficient and quite delightful.. Dinner was superb and did not disappoint. The chef was very complimentary throughout. Desert was fantastic. Service throughout was very welcoming and warm while maintaining professionalism.
I had the pleasure of dining at Chaud, while on a recent trip to Trinidad and what an amazing experience! Chef/Patron Khalid whips up the most amazing creations from locally sourced ingredients. I was looking forward to the evening and Chef Khalid and his staff far exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Chef Khalid! I will be back in the near future!
The food was delicious but the service was excellent. The pork belly, octopus and the ceviche appetizers were excellent. Wish I had tried the beef short rib, crab stuffed shrimp was excellent and the pork loin was enjoyable.
Went to lunch. Carnival season. Great experience fantastic service and great tasting food. Soup could have been warmer but did not take away from the taste

Celebrated my 3rd wedding anniversary at Chaud , the staff was very friendly and quite knowledgeable on the menu and wine list. They were very receptive to creating a special off menu desert for my husband and I .
We were on vacation and wanted to do something special and this was the perfect spot. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and the ambience perfect for date night as it was quiet. Loved that we could have a nice quiet conversation.

Chaud was the perfect choice for our Anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was quiet and quite romantic and our server, Steve, was very knowledgeable and professional. Starting with the salads, the beet salad was a sure winner with the combination of savory and sweet. My seabass dinner was cooked perfectly and very flavorful and the short ribs which my husband had were
beyond tender and so very tasty. It was one of the best meals we've had!
Extravagant, unique, local, exquisite are just some few words to describe the dishes at Chaud. The staff was friendly and professional and make you feel like staying. Ambience was subtle with a touch of modernity and elegance.

Got there and was told that we did not have a reservation, despite getting a confirmation on line. Told that the Accountant probably forgot to pass on our booking, when I showed the confirmation on my phone.
Grudgingly taken to sit at a table next to a group of 12+ people that were so loud, we could not hear ourselves, so asked to be moved. Again done but made to feel as if we were being unreasonable.
We were a group of four, there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday so wanted a quiet space, we got one next to the washrooms.
Food was good, but would definitely not consider this as a fine dining experience, noise levels and indifferent service definitely spoilt the experience.
