   Tables are way too small for the serving plates. There's no way for two people to sit and have even one serving plate on the table.

   We dined with 3 other people and everyone loved their food. There is something for everyone. This time, we tried the borscht, vegetable pate, and chicken cheeseboat. It was enough to have leftovers and even the next day, the leftovers were incredible. The chicken cheeseboat is incredibly savory. If you like vegetables, the pate is the way to go. My cousin loved the borscht.

   Great food that is FUN to eat. We got the soup dumplings and the steak and mushroom cheese boat and shared. Very filling. But you gotta save room for the dessert. Flakey puff pastry cake! We will be going back.

    We had dinner last night at the Hell's Kitchen location and I'm already looking forward to returning. Delicious food and friendly, attentive service. The cheeseboats are only one feature in a great menu of Georgian specialties. The server was happy to give us details on the various dishes and make suggestions.

    I chose this spot because it was promoted as a new location on OpenTable and I’d always wanted to try the Georgian Cheeseboat. When I tell you this was one of the best, if not THE best dining experience I’ve had in NYC, I am not exaggerating. Nika, our Georgian waiter, is the sweetest man in NYC. His love and passion for the Georgian culture and food was palpable. When asking questions about the wine offerings and food, he was so eloquent and intentional. We ordered an organic wine bottle, made by a local Georgian family, and have never tasted something so sweet and fresh! You MUST order an organic wine by the bottle for a true Georgian experience. We were transported to Georgia, had a wonderful time, and were filled with joy. This experience was about more than just the food. We felt connected to the culture! Must Try!!

    Apparently, this gem of a restaurant has been in the neighborhood for a few years. It was a wonderful surprise. Most of the dishes are shareable, so we began with the salad (topped with the most flavorful garlic-infused dressing I have had in some time). Then we got the meatball cheese boat (when in Rome--er, Georgia, right?), and as an entree we got the creamy chicken Shkmeruli. Next time (and we will be returning), we're anxious to try the khinkali dumplings and lamb chakapuli. There are so few Georgian restaurants in NYC, so I'm delighted to know of one more.

    We were greeted and seated right away and all the staff were friendly, patient and helpful. Our food was really tasty and looked delicious too. It was served at a good pace for appetizers and entrees. The variety of flavors from the pates to the cheese breads was fun and yes delicious .

    The cheeseboats were very filling. The bread with the cheese filling, plus whatever toppings were very tasty. The bread is a bit crusty and with a nice chew. The chicken topping was very flavorful and moist. The garlic cream sauce was a nice addition, not overly garlicky, just enough garlic flavor. The honey and brie topping was yummy but sweet due to the honey. Should have had it more as a dessert dish than a main dish. We eggplant rollade was very tasty with the walnut paste and fresh toppings. It was very nice to be able to get a tasting of the Georgian wines, before ordering a glass. Georgian wines are unfamiliar to us, so this was a good way to try them. We did choose a dry red, which was very good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations and did not hesitate when asked which was his favorite dishes. We have to return and try some of the other dishes.

    We came to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday. The staff was exceptionally warm and friendly and made sure he felt special on his big day. The food, as always, was delicious, and the service was quick. We love this place, and we’ll definitely be celebrating birthdays here in the future.

    Our first time having Georgian food did not disappoint. For our group of ten, we had our server bring us a variety of appetizers. The manager (owner?) explained the unique way of eating the dumplings. We did our best and they were outstanding — the best dumpling of any ethnicity I’ve ever had! We tried a varieties of cheeseboats. I had the traditional one and it was so delicious. Our waiter mixed in the egg yolk at the table and the result was a very rich and tasty cheeseboat. Portions are very large so we all went home with doggy bags. Leftovers were delicious, too. I highly recommend this fun and delicious restaurant!

    The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. You MUST like cheese to enjoy their menu as Georgian food includes lots of cheese. But for me that’s a positive! It’s slightly expensive but that’s fine. It’s worth it!

    The service was outstanding; so was the food. If you go, I suggest sharing a cheese boat. These delicious dishes are huge. The wonderful napoleon, which we had for dessert was also very large - easily enough for four people. Great Place with reasonable prices.

    The food at Cheeseboat was much heavier than we all expected, having had Georgian food previously. Unfortunately all the dishes sort of tasted the same. My son, who can consume huge quantities of cheese, declared his dish to be “too cheesy.” We all loved the decor but don’t think we’ll be repeat customers

    Convivial restaurant with interesting and tasty food. The Georgian wine was a nice change. The Napoleon dessert was just OK, but the soup dumplings and Gouda cheese bread were delicious. Very nice waitress from Georgia.

    We asked how many the cheeseboat serves. We were told 1 person. They were very big. We both left more than half on the plate. Could have easily eaten one. Felt wasteful both in food waste and money. The bread was so delicious. The boats were also very greasy but I suppose that’s to be expected when you have a bowl of melted cheese. The soup dumplings were tasty. I wanted to love this. But it was just okay to me.

    The cheeseboat was incredible. We got one with shrimp cooked in white wine. We also got the chicken served in garlic cream sauce and it was incredible. The wine was unique and we were given samples before choosing what we wanted to drink. I would definitely recommend this place. We had plenty of leftovers, too.

    We had a delicious lunch here before our matinee. Our server was very sweet and we thoroughly enjoyed our two cheeseboats. We ordered the steak & mushroom and the honeycomb Brie. Both were delicious and so flavorful. Highly recommend going to this lovely Georgian bistro serving authentic, yummy cuisine.

    Absolutely amazing food and service! The portions are huge so think about sharing some crepes and a boat. We had the prosciutto, bubba and steak with mushrooms. Everything was delicious.
