Sat outside but the waitress was quite slow. Once order given for appetizer and entrees, they were delivered quickly by other wait staff. Unfortunately, the entree cane less then a minute after getting the appetizers. Sent them back but of course, when we finally asked for the entrees, they were only tepidly warm., quickly becoming cold in the strong outside wind. Food was tasty, fish tacos and meatloaf but cold. Waitress never checked back to see how food was or to offer another drink. Disappointed.

The first time here was exactly one week prior to this visit. The first experience was Amazing! So much so that I wanted to bring my best friend so we could catch up over a nice brunch. We arrived 15 minutes early and were greeted/seated by the friendly hostess upon check-in for our 10:45am reservation. After a few moments our waitress came over and asked if we wanted drinks. We each ordered coffee and water and an order of ricotta donuts to share. She, (can’t tell you her name because she never officially greeted us or gave her name) came back to the table with our drinks, sat them down and quickly walked away, I had to turn and catch her to ask if we could have cream and sugar for the table. After a few minutes, she brought back a caddie and one small shot of cream, slid it on the table and off she went again. Glad I’m okay with drinking my coffee w/o cream, I sure didn’t want to have to ask for the same thing again. Moments later, someone brought out the donuts. When these arrived, I had to again catch the young man, and ask if we could get side plates in order to have the donuts. He brought them right out. After about 5 minutes more, our waitress came back and asked if we were ready to order. Still looking over the menu, we asked if she could give us just 2 minutes more. She said okay and walked away. Now, 15 minutes have gone by and we’re looking around, but she’s nowhere in sight. Finally she comes back and takes our order. Our food was brought out by the young man from earlier after about 20 minutes. Another 20 minutes or so of eating, we wanted more coffee. Since our waitress hadn’t been back to the table since she took our order, we found ourselves once again looking for her. Once we were able to spot her and get her attention, we order more coffee. Another 30 minutes or so we were able to again beckon the waiting the table. We asked for boxes, placed 2 to-go orders and asked for the check. She was very inattentive and quite rude.

In a recent interview, Nicholas Cage said even though he has done a lot of movies to get out of debt, he never phoned it in. Chef Geoffs is phoning it in. Broken chairs throughout the restaurant too.

My family and I came here for a Mother’s Day brunch. Our waiter Diego was amazing! Very attentive, food orders came out quickly. He was extremely friendly, exceptional service. The calamari as a starter was cooked to perfection, our main entrees were excellent. We will be back for this amazing gem!!

We had lunch outside. It had rained earlier that day so we were the only table seated outside. Even so, service was quick and attentive. My partner has Celiac and had a CG Chopped Salad (with no add-ons) which he said was light, fresh, and delicious. They kindly brought him a gluten-free roll to go with his salad. I had the Black Bean Burger and was really impressed. I'm an omnivore but really like my veggie burgers and this may be the best veggie burger I've ever had. Great texture - thick with mashed beans as well as beans left whole - with a hint of cumin and plenty of savory black bean flavor. Highly recommended. Next time I might try their salmon burger... but I might have to have the Black Bean Burger again: it was that good.

Spinach salad with crispy calamari was a great combination. BBQ meatloaf came with small potatoes, asparagus and was the perfect comfort fave meal....so good!!! Mango lime raw vegan cake was a very light dessert that was mysterious eating. Couldn't figure out the ingredients but devoured the dessert. Larry T was fun to visit with, he described the menu items to a T, and we really enjoyed our evening at Chef Geoff's

Love this location and usually their food but the service was extraordinarily TERRIBLE. We were sitting outside and had to beg to get more water. We were only part way through appetizers when dinner arrived. Food was not even hot. We ordered dessert (ice cream)-delivered with no spoons. By the time we got spoons, ice cream was half melted. Table settings only include a fork and knife. Not in a hurry to go back here.

Service was extremely slow and it was not busy. They didn’t make us aware what time brunch ended until we had already been seated for 30 minutes and had yet to be served. The sangria tastes like fruit punch and almost twice the price as a mimosa for bottomless drinks, which we couldn’t take advantage of because “brunch was over at 3pm”. Food was ok but the service was so bad we couldn’t make the distinction. We may try the other location next time.

It’s rare that I leave a review less than four or five stars; however, it just has to be done here. Over all, the food was delicious and our server was nice. What was not so great was the kitchen. I don’t know what was going on but it took FOREVER to get our dishes and drinks. My friend’s salad came with blue cheese on the bottom half after she requested no blue cheese. We ended up having it sent back, yet the salad took another 30 to 40 minutes to arrive. Wow, that’s just crazy. By the time we got it, it was boxed and we left. Again, tasted good but the timing for service really sucked. It also seemed to be this way for other tables as well. So I’m guessing the kitchen was low staffed. Will not be coming back in the future.

The server was friendly and quick which I appreciate when I’m having a business lunch. The food is consistently very good at CG. I tend to get the same thing, salad with grilled chicken but it’s always fresh and delicious. It’s my go to restaurant downtown when I’m hosting someone for lunch. THANK you!

We had a wonderful brunch on Easter Sunday. Everyone's meals were quite good. The service was a bit slow, and we think our server was a bit of a beginner. But she had a great personality and attitude, which I will take over experience and a crappy attitude any day.
