Exclusively serving a seafood-forward Tasting Menu at $430 per Guest, includes 2 meat courses & a variety of desserts inspired by Japanese cuisine & French technique. No accommodations for Vegan, Vegetarian, or Kosher diets. Reservations to be secured with a $200 Non-Refundable deposit per Guest. All reservation changes must be made no later than 7 days prior to reservation date. Deposits retained for cancellations; rebooking allowed up to 3 months from original reservation date.     Service was great, food was delicious, but best part by far was the service. Mike shehada was the general manager who offered a personalized experience that added to such a special 3 Michelin star meal. Will definitely be back 👌

    Food was fantastic and this was a different/better experience from other Michelin star restaurants. I’ve never been to a place where every bite was spectacular and different. Awesome.

    Restaurant had us flagged as having a shellfish allergy which we don’t and then could not accommodate getting the standard menu. Paying over $1,000 for a mean experience to not be able to get the desires courses is unacceptable with not attempt to make good with any comps (wine, extra dessert, upgrade etc) just a “our apologies”. On top of that which was already a frustrating experience when going to the restroom there was no toilet paper or tissues. Unacceptable for a 3 star restaurant.

    The food was extraordinary. The service was mediocre, this is 3 Michelin Stars restaurant: we had to wait about 1/2 hour to get the wine list, then we got the food before the wine!. One in our party doesn't eat Uni, no substitution??? not that difficult to do. Your staff should do a internship @ Le Bernadin, Eleven Madison Park....

    Chef's Table was pure pleasure to experience. Each plate is beautiful, the flavors and textures are exciting and delicious. Service was impeccable. From the surprise of such an amazing dining experience at the back of an otherwise fairly unremarkable small grocery store to the quiet beauty of watching the team prepare each course, it was a night we will always remember.

    Seems to get better and better. The flavors are so bright and pure. The quail, which has replaced the duck for the moment, is probably the best quail I've ever eaten. Outstanding

    Fantastic dinner thanks to the talent of Cesar. Unfortunately service was not at the right level from silverware improperly place to wine order forgotten, and missing items on the wine list not really replace or suggestion made.

    This is our second time here, still in love with all the food and tasted even better than our first visit. Love the new main course quail, amazing and super delicious!! However I found the noise level is quite loud, and the wait time between each course takes longer that a lot of guests going to restroom in between because the wait time was too long. Also because I sat near to the door, every time when there is a guest going out to restroom the door will be opened loudly along with strong wind. I was sick after the dinner because of the cold, I also noticed people around me who also sit near to the door silently put on their coat.

    This is hands down the best meal I have ever had. 13 courses. Every bite was amazing. A little strange you have to walk through the grocery store to get to the restaurant. Pricey but worth every penny. Dont miss out on this meal.

    The restaurant is not located in prime location. You have to enter a grocery store in order to enter the restaurant. There was a lot of wind draft hitting the restaurant, making very cold while eating. The bathroom needs a major face lift. There was no white table cloth on the bar table. Utensils were placed on the bare spot off the bar table. Food was ok for usd 450 dinner. Over expensive compare to Le Bernadin and Daniel, where 3 or 4 course menu is usd 199 I do not know how this restaurant received 3 Michellin stars

    Superb and memorable food. Excellent service. A unique experience, but not necessarily a luxurious dining experience. We thought the upsale of supplements to add onto the already very expensive tasting menu and the very high wine markup was off putting.

    Walk through an unassuming grocery store to find the maitre d and a white door that leads inside Chef’s Table. I was excited to finally try this Michelin *** so many raved about. The following courses were unbelievably amazing! 🤤 Hard to describe bc no food menu given 😒 1) ikura & floral arrangement atop a hollow wafer 2) A5 wagyu tartar on a crunchy shell 3) prism shaped scallop w/ crunchy seaweed nigiri 4) caviar on top of tomato? jelly, raw tuna, cucumber & a crunchy surprise below 6) yellowtail sashimi swimming in tasty milky sauce 11) frozen soufflé - divine! My taste buds were happy and brain was curious These dishes had high level of complexity and creativity with a scrumptious taste to match My least favorite: 😢 5) uni toast - buttery uni + buttery truffle paste + buttered lightly toasted soft thick bread. Too many of the same soft textures. Savory on top of savory. I am a HUGE fan of uni but this dish masked the superior uni quality 7) foie gras and snail? soup - couldn’t distinguish what I was eating. Much rather have a creamy version of fish maw soup with yellow chives (healthier & much cheaper too) 8) sea bream in green sauce - good but doesn’t beat my most memorable plump, flaky, juicy confit prepared fish from Bar Maze in Hawaii (highly highly highly recommend) 9) duck w/ speck ham slice - perfectly crisp skin w/ juicy meat. What’s there not to enjoy? Bc I’ve cooked a version that’s a little less tasty for a lot less $$$ 10) sorbet/sherbet w/ mandarin & ? jelly - very refreshing but so are desserts at Hui Lau Shan and similar places 12) milk tea cake - not my cup of tea, lol texture was too soggy, milk tea flavor was off. Prefer a Lady M slice 13) petite 4s - shortbread cookie surprisingly good, chocolate cookie unremarkable 14) madeleines - unimpressed Do I recommend? If you have $$ to burn Highly priced dinner ($1125 w/ 2 bottles Pellegrino, tax, tip) for diminished return in taste. Wish I had space to write more 1/31/23

    Food was what you’d expect at any Michelin starred restaurant. Whether the food is worth 3 stars, or should it be just 2? It is worthy a debate. The service, however, hands down the worst Michelin experience we’ve ever had. The silverware was placed off centered from my wife (the spoon was at least 10 inches away her right hand, and not a single course was placed directly in front of her, always off centered by a little), empty wine glasses staggered on the table (wife had up to 5 glasses at one point), water level was always low (perhaps couldn’t see because of all the wine glasses), use of wine glasses weren’t correct and inconsistent between tables on the same wines and the list just goes on and on (rushed towards the end because of the time limit, food was brought to the table while the lady was in the restroom, etc. etc.) Overall, it was a memorable dining experience just not a positive one. The service was subpar even for just a normal restaurant let alone a 3 star restaurant. Honestly felt ripped off by the meal and only paid the horrendous pricing thinking it will be a complete experience of a 3 starred restaurant. Personally, I would be shocked and disgusted if they retain 3 stars after this year. Definitely don’t recommend going especially at the price point they are charging.

    Stunning culinary experience! Went for my wife’s birthday! Service is top notch! Portions are small, so delicious we could have had triple portions for each plate! Wine pairings offered, as well as additional courses, truffle supplements!

    I guess I had higher expectations for a 3 Michelin star dining experience…. And maybe I should not compare it to experiences such as Per Se or Masa… but chef’s table felt like a bit of a scam… they are short staffed and I feel bad for the team but I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.. service was subpar, no engagement from the team, no menu or anything, couldn’t tell you really what I had … I just know we paid over $1500 just to leave feeling super hungry and went to get pizza right after… the pizza was my favorite and most memorable part of the night …
