We had a lovely lunch at Chemong Lodge. The beef brisket sandwich was excellent and it was accompanied by a wonderful roasted beet salad. The staff were friendly and helpful. They clearly love what they do. I will definitely be back!

We opted to have our anniversary brunch at Chemong Lodge and the food and staff did not disappoint! Food was fresh and all staff were engaging as they told you about what options they had. I cant wait to go back for the dinner buffet!

Great night at the Chemong Lodge. We were a big group, 11 of us and that included a baby in a high chair and a toddler. Our server brought out kids food quick before ours so we could get them fed. Great location, superior service and the music by Cary was the best. Great way to wind down summer on this fabulous patio. Thanks so much.

One member of the party was upset, as she ordered salad with her brisket instead of fries and was told by the waitress this would be fine - when the meal came it was served with fries and she was told she could not have salad as the meal is served with fries. As she cannot eat fries for health reasons, she was quite distressed. Another member was told she could order from the breakfast menu - which she did. The waitress returned to tell her that she could not have what she ordered and would have to order from the lunch menu. Seems like for an upscale restaurant, the wait staff should have better trained.

While the venue is quaint the food is not outstanding. Appetizers, salads, soup and mains were all served at once, and although we sent the mains back to the kitchen they were brought back cold by the time we were ready for them. Shrimp and chicken were over cooked and dry. The veggies and potatoes were just ok. The zucchini peppers and radishes were overwhelmed by the huge portion of mashed potatoes, which were supposed to be garlic mashed but I didn't taste that flavour at all. Lasagna was average. Sheppards pie was mostly mashed potatoes... Waldorf salad was quite good as was the French onion soup. The server was very courteous and pleasant but we felt like she was not in control of the actual service of the food, as others brought the meal out all at once to her surprise. A little more attention to timing and presentation would improve the experience.

The selection of food was great- everything tasted really good- the big problem is the temperature of food- just warm at best- I understand that it is hard to keep food hot but there has to be a better solution- if this was a served meal I would have sent it back- but again all the flavours fantastic and the brisket the best I’ve ever had- will be back soon

Overall, Chemong Lodge was pricey and underwhelming. Vegan impossible burger was the low point. Wild salmon filet was quite good. However, it was overpriced. A sirloin strip steak and Wagyu beef were okay too. The huge, dominant moose head over the fireplace was disconcerting to some in our group. Waitperson was attentive, responsive and humorous.

The restaurant ran out of brisket by 12 noon (Sunday, July 2) so we had to wait almost an hour for another brisket to be brought out. The main meal selection was mostly pork and for people who do not eat pork the brisket would have been the only option. Everything else was tasty andxwell prepared so the quality of the food was not a problem.

We were surprised the prime rib wasn’t on the menu. I ordered the special a pan fried pickerel. It had what seemed like no seasoning and was way over cooked. I wouldn’t compline unless it’s raw. We couldn’t even finish my meal. I had to eat half my wife’s meal. Anniversary complimentary desert was wonderful tho.

Hands down, best brunch. This was our first visit to Chemong Lodge. We will definitely be returning. Food was exceptional. All staff super friendly. Loved that the owner stopped by all the tables to chat. I’m so happy to have such a wonderful place close to home!
