    We had a great evening. Arrived a little early but enjoyed chatting with staff and other guests. There was a private event going on so the menu was limited when it came time for us to order food. What we had, we enjoyed. We look forward to another evening soon. Definitely return.

    Prime rib and chicken was delicious. Vegetables could have been cooked a little more and were not hot. Service was very attentive even though restaurant was busy.

    Above ans beyond expectations. The view was fantastic, the server was super friendly, attentive and accessible, the food was absolutely incredible. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be returning!

    My friend was treating me to the brunch experience for my birthday. The server was a very personable young man and quite pleasant and accommodating. We appreciated where we were seated, the view was nice and it was pleasant for conversation. The table had a wobble and was uneven. It would help to check your table legs/stability. The food was mostly tasty but the selection was poor and at least three of the “hot” items were cold or barely warm. May have to check the flames frequently of the candles of your chafing dishes. Overall, not great value for the money spent and a nice breakfast can be had for a much better price elsewhere.

    The food is amazing. I wish orange juice was supplied. Not many are fond of beet juice. Also with that price, to be more competitive, with brunches in other cities., coffee is free for 2 cups after that there is charge for refills. I must say our server was delightful and she told us how much she enjoys working there…you feed her. It’s like one big happy family Kudos to all of you! Connor, that cheesecake lemon should be your signature!! Also…have you ever thought of selling your salad dressing? Happy experience!love it!

    When making a reservation I specified, in the main dining area (not out in the overhang/window surround dining area). I said it was for our anniversary and birthdays, even stated “finally got a night without the kids”. Seated out in the overhang dining, smacked between two tables with kids, and to add to the lovely unappreciated seating, it was in the darkest corner, I couldn’t read the menu, husband could barely read it, had to use phone light and the faux candle on the table to read it. No variety, corn bread was the only appetizer not involving sea food, I didn’t get one. Miss the roast beef dinner option. Didn’t have the supplies for a bunch of “summer menu” drinks….yet still on the menu ?? I absolutely froze, never have a wanted to leave a place so badly. We complimplated canceling our order and going else where. We both wore jeans and heavy sweaters and it was just so uncomfortable being that cold. Ceaser salad wasn’t the greatest, definitely had/make better. Fish was great but was not the kind they said it was. Avid fishing family. Shirley temple was Orange juice strong, ceaser was (from what we could tell) brown, very strong, and we pondered for a bit why it wasn’t red and we came to the assumption it was the malaises or spices used. Eating without being able to see your meal is strange and weird. We had to look it over again with the candle to see what it looked like, make sure the fish was cooked etc. Husband had one bone in the fish, it happens, but thankfully he didn’t swallow it. Not what we expected, on the way out we both said “won’t be back”

    The five meals came about 8+ minutes apart..first 2 prime rib, then about 4 minutes later, 1 prime rib, then about 3-4 minutes later the 4th meal, and finally the fifth about 3 minutes after.. It seemed odd, that the chef would put up these 5 meals in such intervals. Beef not hot, but the vegetables were…food was good. Waitress was very friendly…

    Some of the best food I’ve had in a long while. Very flavourful and a wide variety at the Sunday dinner buffet! Service was excellent. We felt special, like we were the only ones there. Lovely views as well. Can’t say enough good things. Our fist time there…we’ll be back!

    Wasn't sure if the Brunch was still on since Covid and was pleasantly surprised that it was. It's close to $35 per person so that's reasonable if you have a big appetite. The food was very good and so was the service.

    We were disappointed with the quality and presentation of the food. 2 different "fish and chip" platters were ordered, both fish, cod and pickeral, were in a very soggy batter, not crispy at all. The taste of the meat on the meat platter was ok, but not the level I was expecting. There was no starch (bread, potato etc.) served with the meat platter which seemed lacking. Our server was lovely, very attentive. Top marks for the wait staff, disappointed with the food.

    Our server was a delightful happy girl who made us feel very at ease and comfortable, meeting Conor at the buffet was an awesome experience, he takes so much pride in his work and clearly is very passionate, and quite rightly so as his creations were fantastic and the food he served was delicious. Very well done to all 👍

    Three people for lunch. We shared a large Ceasar Salad. I shared the platter for 2. Plenty for two people, enough for three light eaters. Brisket was my favourite on the plate and the beams were very good. They offer a selection of hot sauces, all levels of heat. Friend had the Cod Fish & Chips. Some of the best he's ever had. Will return for brunch or the prime rib.

    We went for the Thanksgiving buffet dinner and it was excellent. There was lots of choice and helpings were generous. It seemed like they were short staffed for the table waiting but it was 0verall an enjoyable evening.

    Warm country atmosphere. Casual. The quality of food is fantastic. Service is friendly & attentive. The sourdough bread is made there…it’s epically delicious! A perfect place to go with friends or family for home style meals. Much of the produce comes from the garden at the Lodge. Meat is locally sourced. Highly recommend!!

    Enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving buffet. Numerous choices of delicious foods from appetizers, soup, salad, main course and desserts. We went back for seconds. The staff was friendly and attentive. We met the chefs and one of the owners came to introduce himself. A casual Lodge atmosphere with table clothes, flowers, candle light and views of the lake.

    Good buffet, attentive service, nice table with view. Should not charge extra for a drip coffee. No non alcoholic beer available. Did not appreciate being told three times we would have to finish by 3pm. Need two hours to enjoy a buffet with drinks.

    My family and I very much enjoyed the Thanksgiving brunch; the food was outstanding and it was very apparent the pride and care in ingredients and preparation. We will be returning and highly recommend Chemong Lodge for the excellent food and amazing service!

    The restaurant is super cute and always reminds me of the resort in Dirty Dancing (idk why lol). I grew up in the area and have been to CL plenty of times, but my husband has not. So I figured it would be a nice spot to go for our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing, I just wish there had been better communication in terms of our dinner here. We made a reservation for our anniversary online for 6:30. When we arrived, we were told it was a buffet dinner. It was delish and had so much selection, there is no doubt about that! I just didn’t know that was what our only option prior to coming and wished it was laid out when I booked the reservation. Normally I wouldn’t care, but for our anniversary we kinda wanted to just sit back and relax. Around 6:50, the server informed us that the buffet was ending at 7. We just felt really rushed to scarf down food to make it worth our while. If we had been told when we got there it ended at 7, we could have been more prepared to get to eating instead of taking our time, and enjoying our time together so much. Maybe making the last reservation slot available around 6 instead of 6:30 would be a benefit to customers for the buffet :) Definitely recommend for the food, but wished there was more communication when making reservation/when we arrived.

    The food is tasty and the place is charming but we felt rushed and my gf didn’t get a candle on her cake even though I’d sent an email through this app. Our waitress called to apologize on our drive home but I still feel like I wrecked my gf’s birthday by going here. Vibes were just off and no one’s to blame. My expectations were just too high and I should have got my own cake and stayed in our Air B and B.

    We had a lovely lunch at Chemong Lodge. The beef brisket sandwich was excellent and it was accompanied by a wonderful roasted beet salad. The staff were friendly and helpful. They clearly love what they do. I will definitely be back!

    Food & service was very good for our table of 8, however one person didn’t receive her order until almost 10 minutes after everyone else! ?? Prices seem high, although comparable to other restaurants.

    We opted to have our anniversary brunch at Chemong Lodge and the food and staff did not disappoint! Food was fresh and all staff were engaging as they told you about what options they had. I cant wait to go back for the dinner buffet!

    Great night at the Chemong Lodge. We were a big group, 11 of us and that included a baby in a high chair and a toddler. Our server brought out kids food quick before ours so we could get them fed. Great location, superior service and the music by Cary was the best. Great way to wind down summer on this fabulous patio. Thanks so much.
