We visited Chianti with an English Italian friend who does not like to eat in Italian Restaurants but he reluctantly allowed us to take him here. The food was delicious and such good value for money The Resturant is in an interesting building with nice decor and table settings. It wasn’t busy on the evening we went. A member of staff greeted us at the door and everyone we had contact with was friendly and attentive. We will certainly revisit next time we are visiting Falkirk

Great atmosphere, lovely food. Staff were brilliant with my 7 year old daughter who is a very fussy eater. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

Have dined at Chianti several times and I will return, however on this occasion I found that the service was not good in any way. Seemed like a total lack of interest in quality of service. Will give them the benefit of doubt on this occasion

I visited the restaurant with my brother, sons and daughter in law on Friday. We enjoyed a 2 course meal each. It was very good value gor money and We will certainly visit again.

Been to chianti a few times and always enjoyed the food, service and ambience. We went for lunch using a gift voucher from the kids and ordered from the set menu for a change. That was great value for money. The portions were bigger than we expected but were so good we cleared the plates. Would definitely recommend and the set menu is definitely worth a try.

Menu and food was a bit simple and lacking flavour. Stain on table cloth. Brought out wrong drink. Was then unable to get anyone’s attention for service and to pay as waitress was on her phone. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic reataurant, staff are friendly and the food was delicious. My partner had the calamari for starter and said it was the best he has ever had. Just a shame we don’t live anywhere near the restaurant as we’d be going more often. Now looking for an excuse to head back to this area so we can go back.

It’s is several years since we have been to Chianti and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu wasn’t extensive but the food we had was excellent and the service was very good. It was fairly busy for midweek and there was a live singer which gave a great atmosphere. It was very reasonably priced and we would be happy to recommend it to others b

Food and service were average to good, the issue which was off putting were the flies, we spent most of the evening batting small flies away from the table. There was also a foul smell in the gents toilets, which was perhaps a blocked drain and source of the flies.

Our service was extremely rushed. We had our drinks order taken as we sat down (no option to peruse the drinks / wine menu). We were approached for our food order after what seemed like 2 minutes in our seat. When we asked for more time, we were approached again almost immediately. Folllowing our main, we were offered the desert menu straight away and the order process continued in the same manner. Again, I had to request more time, but server returned almost immediately. It was all a bit bizarre given the restaurant was almost empty at the time. 2 courses and we were in and out within 45 mins.

Had a lovely meal ...not really any vegetarian options which I found surprising.pasta with sauce vegetables..loads that you could prepare.only one was pasta and mussels..was nice tho ..Little bit more selection would be nice.place was busy and far to warm..other than that I njoyed it very much.will return

Lovely meal the waiter was very efficient and friendly listened to what we were requesting. The restaurant is lovely to be in with a good selection on the menu at a reasonable cost. The noise level was a bit loud, but it was very busy so to be expected.

Very run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant. Absolutely nothing about the food or service was better than uninspired and perfunctory. Our waitperson clearly wished she were doing something else, and the pizza was bland and very average: I would expect better from Dominos. The gnocchi were equally uninteresting. Find a better place to eat unless you really can't.

Dined here while staying at hotel nearby. Had an enjoyable meal. Restaurant was busy as it was Saturday night. We had pre-booked and otherwise may not have got table, so recommend pre-booking. Staff friendly and helpful. Pizza was very good.

Food was really nice. Service was slow and with the exception of one waiter quite rushed. Extra stuff added to our bill that we didn’t notice until after payment (this was returned to us in cash, though when I totalled it up the return was still short a few quid). Decent meal but sloppy service.

The food was lovely. You have to ask for the special lunch menu, I thought they had maybe stopped it. This is really good value. The table cloths were a nice touch but were quite creased. There was a big spray mark on the wall behind us, looked like someone had opened a bottle of coke, just needed a wipe down. The curtains were hanging slightly off the rails on a couple of areas. These are little things that really spoilt the classiness of the place. Service was reasonable but as it was quiet I would expect the service to be exceptional but it just wasn't. You had to try to get their attention when they were standing at the bar. When you did get service they were very polite and good at their job. Given that we had the special menu, I would recommend Chianti to a friend, but not if I was eating off the main menu. I would expect better for that price. But due to good value for money and the really good quality of food, then I would go back and I would recommend to a friend.
