Typically our salads come pretty fast. We waited 30+ minutes for our starters. About 40 minutes they brought our entrees...while we were still waiting on our salads. Dessert took an exceptionally long time as well. This was not typical but no apologies for the issues were given. Our server was very kind.

Exceptionally mediocre. - portions are large but but don’t make sense. Example: the S/A Dip comes with a ton of dip and not enough toast…. - no side salad option so it’s massive portions - we have been multiple times and always get seated next to the kitchen - server literally forgot to put in an entree luckily the soup and salad were gigantic and the entree wasn’t needed - staff is nice - worst brisket I have ever had extremely dry, similar to a dried out roast beef - the streaks are delicious and phenomenal

Dinner was great but I’m never sure why the hostesses when seating a person with walking issues runs to the table, it was so bad that she met us on her way back, when I mentioned it to the man at the desk he seemed annoyed by my comment, this restaurant had a lot of elderly customers so I’d think the suggestion would be helpful.

Food is excellent, however, only gave 4 stars for value because I think bread should be included with the meal. Since changing to ala crate style menu prices are higher, which is tolerable and understandable. But $10 for bread, just too expensive.

I was appalled at how much the prices went up. I had no idea that everything was now a la carte. Before when you ordered the filet mignon a side dish and soup/salad was included. An order of the baguette bread used to be $2.95 and now it has jumped up to $6.95. REALLY????? Needless to say I was shocked when the bill arrived. I used to frequent that restaurant quite often. Now I will NOT be going back ever. I think its ridiculous that they've taken advantage of their customers.

disappointed in the cost to the value at this location. food is very high priced. Everything almost ala cart now. your view is of a parking lot and wait staff is not professional. I feel like I am in a cafe actually. Pretty sure no one wants me to write this but it is the truth. I still recommend it because there are not a lot of choices. food at Agave is pretty bad, hit or miss and very expensive too, wait staff same. Hit or miss on weather of not polite that day,

We both ordered the Smoked Half Chicken. It looked good on the plate but was dry and touch. If you like the skin on chicken it was inedible...like shoe leather. This is the first time we've had the chicken, prior visits the food was pretty good.

We were seated immediately upon arrival. Waiter was there promptly to take our order and a made a few recommendations. Food was really quick to arrive and everything was very delicious. We really love this restaurant!

This restaurant is a must stop if you are in the MAricopa AZ area. The barbacue ribs are outstanding. They leterally fall off the bone they are so tender. The garlic mashed potatuoes melt in your mouth. The corn/bacon mixture is so awesome. The tossed salad is huge and fresh. I save half of it for a midnite snack. Kameron is the most awesome waiter. He gets you everything you need and does not bother you with small talk. He is the best at what he does and never disappoints. If I may add- In the Agave restaurant also in Harrahs Ak Chin hotel/Casino please look for Cathy and Samantha excellent servers and very, very efficient in their jobs so thoughtful and friendly. Chop Block and Brew is an all time favorite! Always amazing staff at all levels. Our server, Tilly, was very attentive, great information and very pleasant. Our New York strip was cooked to perfection and all the sides great! The risotto & brussel sprouts are an all time favorite! Our cocktails were yummy too! Blue Lemon Drop and Prosecco...you must try. We both had prime rib - delicious!! Cooked just right. Started with the spinach dip. A must have!!! We were there about two months ago and the dinner was not good. Am wondering if they have a new chef? Unfortunately, they no longer have the soup or salad option with the entree. Everything is ala carte. So it costs more for less. But the quality of the dinner this time was very good and probably worth the price.

This is the first time in a while that I really enjoyed the restaurant and the food was great. The service was slow overall I would go back again. I don’t love everything about the menu these days a small filet mignon is almost $50 now and it doesn’t come with anything

Service was excellent. We started splitting a spinach dip appetizer. My wife had their Mother’s Day special which was two 4 oz beef tenderloin medallions, two 4oz crab cakes, corn risotto and broccolini. I had the hangar steak with chimichurri, garlic mash and grilled asparagus. The spinach dip and toasted baguette was delicious. The medallions we cooked perfectly as was my hanger steak. Both tender and flavorful. A real delight. The corn risotto was absolutely delicious. The garlic mash was good but unremarkable. The real disappointment was with the side veges. While no one wants a mushy vegetable, both the broccolini and the asparagus were more raw than cooked and quite frankly inedible. The desert that came with the Mother’s Day special was described as a brûlée but it was more of a chocolate coffee mousse. Was very delicious, it just wasn’t a brûlée. Overall a good experience.

Very nice Birthday supper at Chop Block and Brew. The prime rib was a large portion and flavorful. Also had the ribs which were good. We splurged on the bread and it was worth it.. very delicious. The vegetable was brussel sprouts and they were also great. Paired all that with a nice bottle of red and our meal was complete. Service was prompt and efficient. Did came out hot. Very happy with our dinner.

The twin lobster tails were excellent as well as the chopped salad. I really enjoyed Cameron waiting service. Efficient but not in your face bothering you. The atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable. I better stop or I won't be able to get a table.

Prices there continue to rise. Sadly this might be the last time we eat at Chop, Block and Brew. Love everything about this place, however they've really gone over the top with prices. Even for a high end eatery it's high. Love the food, they're always courteous and and the wait time for food service is very good.
