We'd been there before. Nothing special but tasty enough so we decided to take the family there for a birthday. All the food came out barely warm and then we all waited for my husband's entree. We waited and waited and waited until the waiter admitted that he hadn't put my husband's order in until ours came out. It came out after we had all finished. We asked for it to be wrapped to take home and take it off the bill, which they did. Now I know that accidents happen, but our waiter was also MIA most of our meal. We wanted refills on our beverages, but had to go find our waiter to get them. The food was mediocre although those who had filet mignons enjoyed them. When the check came, there was an automatic 20% tip because we were a party of 7. Lucky for him. And to add insult to injury, the leftovers that went to two different residences, were switched. All in all, a bad experience.

We were a party of 8 and they sat us at a very comfortable table, did not squeeze us at all. Every entree my party of 8 had was loved. Personally had the skirt steak and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

I'm not usually one to write a poor review even when it was a poor experience but this was unacceptable. The service was HORRIBLE and we were the only ones in the restaurant, our waiter not only deliberately ignored us but at the end of the night we had to ask someone else for the check. I can understand bad service or not seeing our waiter the whole time if it was packed or busy but we were the only ones there. The food was less than mid and completely under seasoned. Both me and my wife added salt and pepper to everything. Everything lacked flavor and seasoning. It was very disappointing considering we've gone here before and Loved it, we havent gone in years and since we were in town we went. It definitely wasnt an off night for them because once again we were the only ones in the restaurant. This was a $200 meal for 2 people, I wouldn't have paid $100 for this meal, 0/10 will not be returning.

We had a delicious dinner and our waiter, Saji was amazing, so pleasant and on top of things! My husband had the surf n turf special and the lobster was incredible, filet mignon was cooked perfectly, I had the sesame encrusted tuna (my favorite) and it was delicious as always. We’ve been coming here for years and the food is always consistently delicious and service excellent.

Three couples from the Smithtown and Commack area dine out every week. Not one person out of 6 thought our meal was rated more than average. One person had snapper as a special on the menu. It was $43 and was not only overdone, but we were shocked when it was served with a tremendous amount of melted cheese on top, over a bed of severely over seasoned risotto. At the end of the meal we were presented with the bill, which had an additional charge labeled “supplemental fee”. If the meal was good, we probably would’ve just let it go, although since no one enjoyed the food, we inquired what the supplemental fee was. We were told it was a credit card fee. We weren’t asked, and we had no intentions of paying with a credit card. they had to redo the bill and present it to us. Bottom line never again

Terrible service and the food matched that. We were excited to try a new place and it looked nice with a good menu. I would not recommend. Waiter took our order and never came back. Had to speak to the hostess to get a check so we could leave.also leftover most of the food as it was not good.

I took my husband to the Chop Shop for his birthday. The food, service and staff were all amazing! The staff found out it was a birthday celebration and brought over a special dessert with a candle in it and they all sang to him. It was lovely.

Their food was delicious and perfectlycooked. The staff was very professional. The restaurant is classy, but with just enough casual touches to make it comfortable. I could have their tortilla soup and short ribs every day, and my husband loved the lamb. We'll be back. We bought gift cards as a perfect thank you for our friends.

if you want a fantastic Meal at Fair price, this is the place to go. we ordered the Thai shrimp with peanut sauce was very tasty (think more like bang bang shrimp, but made with peanut sauce, small shrimp). we ordered the $55 bone in ribeye. we added gorgonzola to it for $3. it was 24 oz and delicious. this would cost $30-40 more in many long island places. we ordered a special. tomahawk Lamb chop for $45. was an incredible meal for that price. A huge lamb chop with the flintstone tomahawk bone, with creamy polenta and spinach and it was soft enough to cut with a butter knife and was absolutely delicious with parmesan coating. top 5 dishes we have had all year for only for a great price.

when booked on open table-only had 5:00 reservations open-then not again until 8p-when we left about an hour 1/2 later-restaurant was still empty-ceasar salad tasted like bottled dressing was used- watery deli like mashed potatoes-waited forever to get check after asking 3x-no points earned for this reservation-i should get 1000 extra points this food was so bad
