   I wasn’t impressed with the Chop. The food was tasty but my steak was over cooked. The server seemed disinterested and did not acknowledge that it was my mom’s birthday, even though I made note of that in the booking. Overall, there are better steak restaurants in the city that I would go to instead of Chop.

   I visited the restaurant for the first time a couple of days ago. Very welcoming. Amazing decor and excellent service from the host and our waitress. We were a table of 6 for lunch. All of our food was served in a timely matter. Presentation was ok. A couple of our steaks unfortunately were overcooked. I ordered the prime rib, and, in my opinion, it wasn't a very good quality steak for the price.

    Restaurant was beautiful. Great service. But found the salmon not seasoned and the rice that came with it over powered the salmon needed a plainer rice or potato to go with it

    Server wears far too much perfume. Pretty much all I could taste while eating lunch. Ordered flat iron steak with salad with oil & vinegar on the side. Salad was never brought. Doubt I’ll return.

    We ended up leaving. I am a larger person and the booth they gave us was bolted down to the floor. They attempted to find another table… they could not even with many empty tables at the time. If we wanted to wait for something we could. It had already been a very long day. Will not attempt to go back.

    Very nice contemporary interior with a splash of turn-of the century velvet accents and cushioned armchairs. Restaurant was very quiet since we went in down time (1:30 - 3 pm), and really enjoyed the experience. Service was great, on time and very friendly. The Furious Fries had a nice tangy unique flavour, and just the signature steak bites are already worth dropping in this place. My family also had the lunch combo (great clam chowder and a prime rib dip sandwich) and the fillet mignon - all was very well prepared and beautifully presented; quantity was enough to fill both eyes and stomach. The complimentary bubbly that was offered along with a visit to FlyOver experience was the crème de la crème. Upside down pineapple cake was a must after flying over Hawaii, and was the superb finish of our short but divine getaway from Raincouver in a dreary Vancouver winter day. Thank you, Chop Steakhouse for the warmth and colour in our day!

    Streaks incredibly well seasoned, Service friendly and responsive, lobster Mac is rather subpar and the crème brûlée was pretty bad. Overall pretty great restaurant though.

    Really enjoyed the restaurant experience, the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and in a great location, the starters were outstanding, really nice quality, and the bread was surprisingly flavourful and the butter mist favourerful I had had in a long time. The main courses …. steak top notch really enjoyed it and my son had a burger and really rated it which is nice to hear. The desert I think it was called up side down again was excellent ..So overall, super happy with the experience the food, ambiance and service. I gave 4 stars for the food only because the tiramisu was a bit disappointing like a stodgy pudding, but that was the only blemish on an otherwise flawless experience.

    This is a new Chop location and busy when we went. I was there for a business team dinner and we enjoyed our drinks and food. It was a good experience and I would return to try more of the menu.

    When we arrive they told us that they gave our reservation to somebody else. They seem confuse! Gave us a table that we wanted to change but they told us everything was reserve. The restaurant was empty and stay empty during our stay… they even gave the table we wanted to someone with no reservation. the issue was with the person at the reception because our server was ok.

    Great location for a gathering. Service was cold, void of personality and knowledge, but all in all the meal was good. The company at the table did help the experience. Great interior in the dining room, but the washrooms leave something to be desired in regards to size and no separation between urinals. Found that very odd. The patio looks like it will be gorgeous in the summers.

    This was an occasional night out with the guy’s. It was our first and certainly not our last visit, really enjoy the restaurant and the food. The Smoked Old Fashioned drink was amazing!!

    Went here while at a conference at the convention center. The crab cakes with the basil aioli, smoked ribeye, and lobster mac and cheese was delicious. The Pink Lemonade cocktail was also very tasty. The customer service was great and we had the nicest server. I would definitely recommend this place!

    Food was nice enough, although they used that gross pre cooked bacon which was surprising on a $20 salad. We were seated right in front of the dish station apparently though, so it was extremely loud with crashes of silverware and dishes and general staff commotion throughout our entire business meal. Not ideal. Server was fantastic - very attentive. But quality of the food and the awful ambience really detracted. Not likely to go back.

    We had a really great experience at the new CHOP in Coal Harbour Vancouver. The service was amazing (I would give it 10 stars if I could), and although I think they are still probably perfecting their culinary methods, I would for sure go again - soon. Very attentive, enough staff, prompt service, genuine customer service (they care), friendly and really went over and above. Compared to some other chains in the area - I most definitely recommend Chop over them. Thanks for a great dinner out!
