Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavor to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy.     Our service was average with a bit too much wait between visits from the waitress. Our steaks were overcooked, but the manager came over to acknowledge it and offered dessert. The rest of the food was decent . Restaurant was nice and clean.

    Absolutely outstanding service and food. Taking into consideration the incredibly busy even with The Battle of Alberta, Chop had it dialed in. Communicated efficiently at check in, spectacular service from Celeste and a huge shout out to the chef for the delicious supper and dessert! Chop will forever be out go-to date night!     Great business meal, a bit noisy and waitress was running to keep up with work load. Was amazing entire time, was a little hard to track down to pay would be only concern as we were wanting to get to Oilers game.

    If you are looking for a hidden gem prior to an Oilers Game, CHOP Downtown is a great option to get a reservation. Solid food at a great value.
