   Chop is a constant... good steak, good sides, good wine. But it was busy this Sunday night, so some attention to detail was off... very long wait for the extras we ordered ...bernaise sauce for the filet, and butter for the baked potato... they both arrived well after our entrees cooled down. Bernaise sauce arrived after 10 minutes, butter took about15... by then the food had cooled enough to notice. Also with dessert, the Hot water for tea arrived after a few minutes, but the tea bags took another 10 minutes to show up... In all three cases we had to ask the server if the forgotten items -the bernaise, butter, tea bags - were coming... perhaps forgotten in the buzz of a busy evening... These little shortfalls did not ruin our evening, but it took it from the usually "outstanding service" to "good service". Except for not being at their hottest, because they had cooled for 5-10 minutes before the meal was served in its entirety, the steaks were cooked to our taste. Everyone has an off night...Chop is still is one of our favorites. If it's busy, a little nudge now and then may be needed.

   This restaurant did not disappoint- great ambiance, fantastic food and the service from Penny was exceptional. Well worth the visit and cost.

   Food was not good when we went there. Tuna smelled weird and portion are smaller now.

   As a group of 8 friends (in our 50s and 60s), this was our first visit to Chop. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the service, and would definitely go again.

   I am a fan of bone-in rib steaks, but 28oz is a little over my limit. The no-bone ribeye is a reasonable alternative.

    Our main waitress was Lisa, she really was well versed on the restaurant and any menu questions, options and entree's . The entire staff was friendly, including the front door reception staff. Menu (well priced) was so well done, great selections for any palate. We ordered a variety of food choices, all dishes had their own unique flavor and presentation, plates were warm, food was served just a perfect temperature. Wine list has a great selection for any taste. We really noticed how quiet it was even though the dining area was almost at capacity. Chop is well managed, I would refer this restaurant to anyone.

    The ribeye on bone for two was great... you must take the mushrooms on the side. Creme brûlé is very good... our server took my wife's garlic intolerance very seriously and even returned the fries which had garlic salt on it and came back with a fresh garlic-less batch. If you can take the bread as a starter, donation is made to food bank on your behalf and the bread is awesome anf the burned butter that goes with it too... Very satisfied

    Super great experience here. The ambiance is beautiful, great lighting, colour scheme, etc. Service was great, pleasant, not invasive, just chill - i appreciate when servers aren’t extremely enthusiastic/hyper haha. I got the filet mignon medium rate w/ the chimicurri topper - great flavours, the mashed potatoes were delicious and generous portion & the side of vegetables- green beans and squash were well cooked. I also got the smoked old fashion, the aroma from this cocktail was soooo nice! My boyfriend and I shared the crab cakes (good but not amazing), he got 2 drinks, i got 1, we both got a steak dish & shared a dessert- totalled to just under $200 Great date night location :)

    Went out to CHOP steak house on hunt club. I must say my boyfriend and I were impressed by the service. Our waitress had answered all of our questions and provided great options for us for drinks, appetizers and mains. We’re also gluten free and she was very considerate of this. The food was amazing. I had the New York steak. It was tender and flavorful. I would recommend this restaurant any day.

    We had reservations for 7:30. We showed up at 7. Happy to get a drink at the bar and wait. Once we got drinks in 5 mins - server says our table was ready (before 7:30) snd she can help us transfer drinks and bar bill to table. We agreed and went to be seated. We were seated at the absolute horrible spot - shoulder touching spot with one of the cash registers where all there servers kept coming and taking, printing bills, checking orders… seemed so bizarre to be shoved into a corner table with no regard for guest spacing! Extremely disappointing in our experience.

    We had an amazing time. Our server was amazing. We were a table of 6 seated in the lounge which has plenty of room, if you want to plan a group outing. A beautiful space too. Food was yummy and drinks were flowing. We came here for my friends birthday, she even got a card and gift signed by the staff. Just wow! 10/10!

    As always, food was excellent. Waitress was friendly and prompt. We had just one problem in that our dessert order went rogue in the system and we waited ages for it to arrive. Manager delivered it personally, apologized for the extreme delay and did not charge us for the desserts. This can happen and was handled very well in support of the client.

    A Christmas lunch with clients served by a friendly server with a good wine selection everyone enjoyed the appetizers and meals. It was sensibly priced as well....certainly not cheap - but good value in my opinion. Not the first time there - won't be the last.

    Our server, Nigel, was top-notch, very charismatic and attentive. However, the length of time it took us to get our food (45 mins) and the very undercooked butternut squash was less than desirable. Overall, it was decent but could use some work.

    I am never disappointed with a trip to Chop. The quality is the same every time and overall very consistent. I have introduced so many friends to the restaurant now that I feel like I should be on commission! Lol

    Had a great time at Chops. Our server Dane was super friendly. Dinner was delicious as always. We all had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. It was a busy night though, so service was a little bit slow. We came to celebrate my birthday and they gave me a nice birthday cake with sparkling candle and a personalized birthday card from staff. Overall, a good experience and we’ll be back again.
