Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender.     I’ve been here about 10 times and all of my experiences have been great, delicious food. My last experience the steaks weren’t really up to same level the normally are. A bit disappointing but will be back and would recommend this place to steak lovers. Maybe they just had an “off” night.

    The Brussels sprouts were amazing! My holiday drink was nice and flavourful. The rest was ok. Steak was Fairly fatty and not particularly well seasoned. Did not really stand out. The bread was not very fresh or warm. The vegetables were quite bland. Green beans and squash. Almost no seasoning. Like boiled in water. For the price point you expect better quality. Our server was great. Very responsive. Wish I could write a more positive review.

    Been here a few time before and enjoyed our experiences, but this visit we found the service was okay and not as memorable our last few visits. We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken shortly after, however about 15-20 minutes later our food order was taken and our server said “great I’ll put your drink order in now”. Other than that slight misstep everything else was great, they did accommodate our special dietary request which was nice. The brussel sprouts appetizer off the seasonal menu was delicious, and the 2-person rib eye was tasty and filling. We’ll return to try something new off their seasonal menu.

    Everything was wonderful. The food and service was lovely. Shoutout to Lisa, our waitress; she was amazing. Also, loved the veggies and fruits appetizer for kids - it was a really nice touch. Will be back !

    I truly enjoyed the entire experience! After letting them know that this was my first visit, they brought me a delicious starter to welcome me. Because I was eating alone, they always came to check up on me & make sure I was good & it felt genuine. I drank a virgin pink Lemonade & the steak with prawns. The food was amazing, my bed was calling my name! I felt well taken care of here.

    Our meals were done to perfection. The server was very attentive to us. We were celebrating a birthday and at the end of the meal our server gave the birthday girl a card signed by the staff. A wonderful evening all around.

    I am not finding very good service at many restaurants or stores these days, but our service was exceptional and that just made everything. The food was good as well (prime rib was excellent, brussel sprouts, tuna, orange pot de creme) except for the mushroom escargot which was very average. Pet peeve of mine is not offering the happy hour menu when it is happy hour. My friend who arrived later knew it was so that is when we got that menu. Portions are large. I asked for a round table in my reservation as I find it more conducive for a group chatting and this was done. An enjoyable evening.

    Hi! Thank you so much for your valuable feedback, we appreciate that you have taken the time to highlight some wonderful dishes. Our happy hour is always available from 2pm-6pm and 9pm-Close. Keep in mind that if you were seated on the dining room side, you would not have been offered happy hour menus as it is a lounge promotion. We always strive to try and accommodate for seat preferences although we cannot guarantee seating. Thank you for the 5 Star review and we hope to see you again soon!

    The steak was not what I expected … ask for med rare came out medium . The waiter did ask me if I would like to change it but I was too hungry to wait another half an hour.. so it is what it is I won’t be coming back. Not worth the price cost us $160 with just 2 main course , no appetizers, no dessert and no drink… all the way from montreal to…

    I generally dont post reviews but the team that served us was extremely attentive on the ball, cared and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Cant recall a meal service that was so on-point in years. Whatever their leadership team is doing right now is definitely working

    Somewhat uneven. We were seated nearly 10 minutes after our confirmed reservation in a lovely quiet corner. Appetizers came very quickly, but then we waited 1/2 hour for the main course. Requested no spice on steak - not sure if orders were mixed up, as spice was very evident on one & not on another who did not specify. Vegetables were heavily salted - unnecessary & unpalatable. Value is fair, but the chef needs a lighter hand on the salt for sure!

    Our dinner at Chop was amazing - starting with attentive, extremely knowledgeable and friendly service from our server Arthur - to adventurous cocktails and mouthwatering delicious appetizers, steak dinner and desserts! We were treated like kings and queens from the moment of our arrival until our departure, and encouraged to eat and socialize at our own pace - we felt superbly taken care of but not rushed. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and would absolutely recommend Chop not just for special occasions, but anytime you want a delicious meal and tremendous experience! Best steak in town!

    This was a business lunch for which I requested a table with armless chairs as the participants were too large to sit in a booth. A booth was assigned, and after some public embarrassment, a table with armless chairs was established and provided. The service was professional and respectful. The food was nicely prepared and tasty.

    Our party of five each enjoyed the experience. We have been there as a group on numerous occasions because it is such a wonderful dinning establishment. One of our party sent a steak back twice and the waiter (Chris) and the manager came over to apologize and ended up removing the food tab from his bill. This was unexpected but very much appreciated.     Unfortunately the food was not good in any way. Very sorry to leave this review. We previously enjoyed happy hour with a limited menu. Food was inappropriately portioned, not cooked properly and felt like fast food dining rather than high end which would be suggested by the pricing. Steaks were expensive and tiny, fries few and cold, hors d’oeuvres hot, oily and not tasty. Hoping it improves. Staff tried their best to accommodate us which we appreciated.
