Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Steaks were cooked wrong. One over done. One really underdone. Wasn’t told that mashed potatoes was a $5 option ( and wasn’t very tasty). 4 th time here and gone downhill very quickly. Not at Keg level.

    We always love coming to Chop because the steaks are perfect - but not this time. I ordered a blue rare smoked ribeye and it was almost medium. There was hardly any fat and the cut was so thin. We came here a few months ago and ordered the same thing and it was one of the best steaks ever. My dad's steak was also blah and the trio of sauces were almost inedible (except the chimichurri which was great). We're not picky people - must have been an off night for the kitchen staff. Our waitress, Ava, was so amazing the whole night; she got me a new steak which was great and comp'd them both so we gave her a huge tip! Thanks Ava :) Hopefully next time we're back the food is the way it usually is - perfect!

    Nick, our server, along with the whole staff was excellent. Almost Disney like customer service, lot of WOW's and surprises. My wife's birthday and they treated her well, a very generous dessert platter and nice touch with hand signed birthday card and free appetizer when we return. We asked for a quiet place where we could have a conversation and they delivered. The music genre and level was perfect and your voice was not hoarse at the end or the next day and ears ringing from loud music. Felt welcomed and the food was very good and well presented. Great value for a higher end experience.

    It was our first time and my birthday! Our waitress Yvonne was amazing. She made a perfect wine pairing for me, and we were treated to a free welcome appie. The service was wow! We didn’t wait for anything, and everything was how we wanted it. Lastly they gave me a birthday card complete with another free appie coupon for our next visit. We will be back, and thanks for the amazing experience!

    We went to Chop for our anniversary tonight and had a great meal. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server, Andy, was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience!

    Chop has been our go to for many years. I have to say this trip-my birthday supper-was a bit of a disappointment. The service and ambience was great but as much as I hate to say it the food wasn’t that great this time. The cook on the steak was ok but there was zero flavor
