CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. What a flawless experience for our 1 year :) Thank you Amber! I’ve been a server for a while and I can tell why you get the good sections. Your service was beyond amazing not just at our table but watching you change styles depending on size of table and occasion you are incredible!! Definitely will ask for your section :) Steak and Ribs obviously great but it was the service that made it amazing!

It was a quiet Monday evening. The service was excellent as well as the food. Steak was cooked to perfection. Can’t really count on noise level as few people in at the time. Will be booking at Sherwood Park for this upcoming Saturday

Veronica, our server, was impeccable. The food was perfect. The Sangria, second best in the city. Can’t say the first. Just know it’s really good here. I wish they did pitchers. My friend had the smoked old fashioned mezcal and loved it. We had the mussels to start. They were good. But I think I’d try something different next time. The beef carpaccio or goat cheese and garlic crostinis look delish too. We had prime rib and a ribeye. Both were done perfectly. We tried the truffle mash (DEFINITELY get these & Hope they don’t remove them) and the cauliflower rice. We don’t love the cauliflower option here as much as we could. Maybe the way it’s spiced. We had wine with dinner. The Alamos, Malbec and the Perez, Cab Sauv. I really like this location. The tables are great. Booths are comfortable and I love the wood. The ambiance is done well here. We ate in the bar side. And our server, did I mention she was the best! Thanks, Veronica & Chop Southside team!

The service and food were excellent. The spring rolls were hot and flavorful. My wife’s Salmon was cooked to perfection. I had the filet Mignon, it was extremely tender, cooked to my specifications, and delicious. Fantastic meal and great service!
