CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender.     I reserved a table tonight to celebrate my wife passing her final psychology exam (EPPP). I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for what the staff did throughout the dinner to make the night extra special. They went above and beyond!! The food was amazing as always! (Best steak bites in the city) The service was absolutely fantastic. And as always the atmosphere and ambiance were spot on. Thanks again for a perfect night:) See you again soon! Andrew

    Food was exceptional! We got 2 appetizers off the winter feature menu, the Gorgonzola gnocchi and the Brussel sprouts, both were delicious. Our steak mains were wonderful and perfectly cooked. For desert we got the chocolate orange Pot de Creme from the winter feature menu, it was delicious, and they even wrote Happy Anniversary on the plate for us! Would definitely recommend!

    We had good service from a ‘new to Chop’ waiter. The food was good. The upside down pineapple cake was delicious! The prices are high! Coffee is $4.50 and everything goes up from there!

    Went to Chop because the Keg was temporarily closed.” Chop was a good substitute. Food was comparable to the Keg… good, but rarely outstanding. Our server, “Martin,” was excellent, as were the welcoming staff. No complaints.

    I was hosting friends as a thank you. Food and service were exceptional, however the ambiance was more like a diner than a fine dining area. Also quite noisy.

    Wings were great. Onion soup wife liked it. Burger was ok I've had better. Not much flavor on the beef patty tasted more toppings(salad) than the meat paddy burger. Hope this helps

    Food was good, but service slow and unprofessional. We waited a long time for our drinks and to order food. After dinner we sat with dirty plates for so long that when we wanted to order dessert it was already past last call. Our server managed to get us dessert, but coffee had been thrown out, and no offer of a fresh pot. We waited again after dessert with dirty dishes, awaiting our server’s return. We asked for the bill and waited so long that they turned the lights on. It was also so cold inside that we had to draw the blinds down the cut the draft and another table sat with their winter coats on through their meal.

    Things were pretty good. Waitress wasn’t at top of her game. Very nonchalant. Food was slow and not hot. Taste was good however.

    Ample parking. Great for special occassions, business meals, group meals/celebrations. Great for familes with young children, mashed potatoes were really good. Now sure about the bar and drinks because we did not use.

    Overall good. Food was acceptable. Waitress was over worked, not enough wait staff so didn’t give us appropriate attention for such a high priced place. Bit loud, but expected.

    Staff was well trained, door was exceptional. The music was a little loud for having a dinner conversation. Wine selection was very nice.

    My only "complaint" is how dark it is in the dining room. Our server, Charlotte was attentive and kind. Food was hot, attractively served and yummy. Will return with friends!
