We attended on a Monday evening for a birthday celebration. Service was very slow. The waiter was very nice. However, despite the restaurant not being very busy, service was quite slow. Once we received the food, my son’s prime rib steak was cold, and my husband’s burger was tepid. We sent back the steak and it was replaced with a fresh order. We were then offered a mini dessert for the birthday celebration to only realize that we were charged $5 on our bill for this mini b-day dessert.

We are repeat guests at Chop…including this particular location. We return periodically because love the food and we are happy with service and ambiance… Unfortunately this time we were a little disappointed with the service…we sat in the bar area (where we typically sit)… We were served by one of the bartenders… He took our drink and food order. Our drinks came quickly but out appetizer was not coming out…after 15-20 minutes we asked our waiter and he went to check on it…then came out to tell us there was a “mixup” in the kitchen meanwhile the restaurant wasn’t overly busy…a few minutes later he brought out the appetizer and said it would be on the house…I guess he forgot to enter the order… Our mains came sour and we were still finishing our appetizer and the waitress who brought the mains was ready to take away our appetizer plate while we hadn’t finished. As to not send back the mains until we were ready for them we decided to accept them but knew they would be cold by the time we would get to eat them… Again the food was greatly prepared and tasted great…steaks were on the cooler side but still edible. We appreciated the fact that we were not charged for the appetizer but disswith the overall service this time around. We may choose an alternative location next time we wish to dine at Chop…

Long story short, I do not eat pork products as well as my son for religious purposes and after explaining to the waiter twice no pork, my son got a burger with pork in it, had a stomach ache all night and I’m pretty annoyed. Thank goodness he’s better now.

This was definitely an off night. Blue cheese wedge salad was so over dressed that it was swimming in dressing. The beef tacos barely had any beef in them and I asked for it as a main and it came as an appetizer. My wife had chicken breast with her salad and had to ask for more chicken because the piece she got was like 2 to 3 oz max.

The environment was very was loud and energetic, a lot was happening. My server didn’t seem to really be present and was so focussed on just taking everyone’s order and attending to everyone’s table. She took too long to take her order and we were waiting are appetizer plates stayed at our table the entire meal he took the entrée of the leftovers of our appetizer, but left the dirty dishes behind. Paying $50 for a steak that not only came out cold, but not cooked to what I asked it to be. I went to this chophouse even though my last experience was poor I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and see if it was just a one off experience. Sadly, it was extremely poor experience.

We love Chop and really enjoy our meals every time. Service is excellent as always. Only drawback for us is the increasingly loud music. A 5:30 dinner reservation so not expecting super loud music that is more a club vibe than a nice steak house. Just something to keep in mind when dining here.

Sat under the cover part of the patio as it was raining off and on. Very comfortable setting for a business meeting. Attentive staff and great tasting fresh food (ordered tuna takati and avocado salad with chicken. Will definitely dine there again.

Went there for my moms birthday. Service was lacking even when the place wasn’t that busy. They never cleared the food an hour after we finished. I had to physically put the empty dishes on the table behind us so my moms birthday cake can be brought out. The appetizers were horrible. We even asked for bread and had to remind our server of our missed order. Overall bad service, food was not great. Oh also the woman’s toilet had no toilet paper as well. This was a Tuesday afternoon. Can you imagine? And spent a pretty penny, we bought lobster, steaks and champagne and still had horrible service.
