Nick was an awesome server! Kept up with our banter and orders and had a smile on his face the whole time. The food was delicious, right down to the butter for the community bread, and the dessert they gave me for my birthday was decadent and wonderful! All the staff even signed a card for me! We will definitely be back ☺️

Recommend sitting at the back of the bar at Chop on 178 Street. Great service, quiet and comfortable. New menu has great selections. I had the Chop salad with the flatiron steak. Full of nutrients, tasty and a complete meal.

We are carnivores.... apparently.... CHOP is without a doubt our favorite... and in our families' opinion... THE best place for prime rib. You are guaranteed melt in your mouth prime rib with all the perfect accompaniments... served by professional servers...like Olivia... our favorite server... and who took care of us last night. It's perfect for that special date night... family night... like going for dinner with dad.... or... company from out of town. If you're hoping for a fast food price point... this is not your first call... but.. the food is worth every penny. No prep... no clean up for you... and total tast satisfaction....what more could you ask for!!!

Portion size is getting a little smaller and smaller for mains. Noticed this right across all Chop Steakhouses. Our neighbouring table was ridiculously loud as they were celebrating something. Other than that, good stuff.

it was a nice dinner with great choices, enjoyed the prime rib it was delicious and the petite lobster tails were very good also, only wish happy hour extended to the dinning area as well. the service was very good,, but were seated close to the lounge and there was a group in there that were a bit too loud and interupted us during our meal. but it got better after a bit. the table booth was very comfortable, and the house cab sav was very good.. would go back again

We normally don’t get the chance to go out, last night was one of the slightest chances we got and we had a wonderful time, our server Mekailah was awesome and attentive, food was great prepared as requested. One order of a medium rare steak came over cooked. Very promptly after everyone being served, our server Jayde came by to see how our meals were. Upon mention of the overdone steak, she immediately whisked it away to make it right, offered a soup or salad in the interim and notified her manager. The manager came over promptly and ensured the meal would be out as soon as possible. Both ladies came back to check on the replacement meal and ensured it was done to the guest’s preference. We all commented that that level of service and the feeling of being taken care of was something we hadn’t experienced in years at any restaurant. The manner and professionalism was outstanding. kudos to Jayde and the rest of the Chop team who made our night out to celebrate a couple birthdays wonderful. P.s. the birthday guys really appreciated the signed cards and it was quite the topic of conversation for a good 15 minutes. Thank you!! I’m sure all 7 of our diners will be back again!

Food was so so flavourful. I had the smoked ribeye and the rest of my table had the prime rib. Besides the lights flickering for a bit before our food came, it was an amazing experience. Servers were super friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend!

Always a favorite because the service is so friendly, and the food is delicious, fairly priced. The birthday girl was treated by a signed birthday card from the Chopped staff, with a gift card for a certain free appetizer. They have a very good happy hour that goes until 6 pm (not 5, like many places), so you have time to get there after work! The Wedge salad is a must!

Restaurant was super quiet and the food took a really long time to come out. The food was subpar at best was extremely disappointing especially for the price. Our service tried her best and even compted some drinks and desserts. The parking lot was full of young kids and no supervision it made it extremely difficult to leave. Overall the experience was alright. We’re from Ontario and we won’t be going back anyway.

We had an amazing experience celebrating our 13th Anniversary. The service was exceptional, the food was excellent. We shared the Bone-in Rib Eye, which was the perfect dish to share. The anniversary desert and congratulations card from the staff was a very nice touch!

The service was excellent. appreciated the anniversary cheese cake. I won't be buying a flat iron steak again. Will stick to my normal steaks or prime rib. The marinate was to strong for my liking. My wife's wine and prime rib was very good. Bread was hot and excellent. The crowd was enjoying themselves throughout the restaurant. Great waitress very attentive and a joy to talk to.

The steak was over cooked and the mussels didn’t seem fresh and had a weird taste. The service was good, but was a tad disappointed as we’ve been there previously and was good.

Servers were very helpful and attentive. Chef did an amazing job with all food ordered and supplied to perfection. We have never been disappointed in our many times we have visited this location. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The food is way better than the Keg, both are delicious but this steakhouse surpasses the Keg. I ordered the mushroom & goat cheese dip for starter (I ate the entire thing myself it is delicious). I ordered a starter French onion soup which was one of the best broths I've had. Lastly I ordered the filet mignon with roasted garlic/Shallot topper, mashed potatoes and the waiter was nice enough to let me ask for no beets (some places get offended for "changing" their meals). The food is so delicious we don't mind ordering all the extras, appys, etc. The prices are fair, I don't find the pricing outrageous for how much food you get and the taste/quality. Our waiter was a very nice man. He said his name was Nick and he's very helpful and stopped at our table several times to check in, even though he seemed to be waiting on the whole area around us. He has a great sense of humor and the other tables nearby seemed very happy with him as their waiter. He should get 5 stars too! I like that he didn't push dessert on us, he gave the option and was cool when we said no. He gave us time to relax after our meal and finish drinks and when we were ready, brought the check quickly and didn't rush off when we finished paying. He is a draw to your restaurant! Thank you very much for another delicious meal, we appreciate the service and the expectations are met every time we visit from out of town. Please pass on compliments to the chef and waitstaff. Awesome night!

Fantastic service, and Fantastic food! Our server was attentive but not bothersome at all. We had a special request for my handi-able (?) father-in-law and the kitchen did a great job of taking care of his needs. Everyone in our party left full and happy.
