This was a magnificent dining experience. I moved from Asheville, NC where the food is outstanding. Chucherias Hondurenas was absolutely delicious. This is our new favorite restaurant for extra special occasions.

Delicious and exquisite dining experience. Excellent preparation, service, and impeccable blend of flavors. We enjoyed the Pastelitos, and Olive Medley for appetizers. 3 of use shared a dinner sized portion of the Sopa de Caracol, and mains were the Mahi (2), and Bistec Delgado for myself. Each were delightful. There is also a perfect list of select wines to choose from. We enjoyed a wonderful Montepulciano that complemented the entire meal from start to finish. Many thanks to our host as well as Chef Mayra.

The atmosphere, food and service was superb. The menu wasn't over done with a thousand things. Everyone at the table had something different and everything was excellent. Definitely would go back.

This place is amazing. Our drinks were very unusual and quite tasty. The whole fish special was absolutely delicious and served beautifully. My lobster was excellent. The service could not be better. We will be back to this amazing place for another exceptional experience.

Exceptional, as always! This restaurant is one of our top favorites and for very good reasons. Service is impeccable and excellent, drinks and wines are varied with so many great choices, food and desserts are absolutely delicious and the ambiance is cosy. I very highly recommend this gem!! 100% recomiendo este bello restaurante mi esposa y yo fuimos ayer y la pasamos excelente la comida es muy pero muy buena pedimos la carn de cerdo y el pescado frito entero además de aperitivo y de verdad estuvo delicioso el postre es algo glorioso el servicio fui personalizado y de alta calidad de verdad si buscas una cena romántica este es el lugar solo hay 10 mesas así que tienes que reservar gaste 200 y fueron bien gastados haaaaa olvidaba la sangria es muy buena y la Margarita ha sido la mejor que he tomado en mi vida ese toque de la menta y el limón fueron espectacular Gracias y hoy volveremos ha ir quiero probar otros platos nadie me ha pagado por este comentario sólo quiero dar mi experiencia 👍

Third time here and the experience has always been stellar. Food is fresh and delicious with an excellent presentation. Our server last night, Nicole, was exceptional, friendly and warm yet highly professional. The restaurant is an unexpected gem the first time you visit, and I’m happy that it has been just as wonderful each time afterwards.

This is our go to place for special occasions. They never disappoint. The service is wonderful. The food is incredible! Their food is cooked to perfection. Love the flavors! Everything on the menu is delicious! We highly recommend!

The food was AMAZING! Thank you Rui for the impeccable service. This very well may have been the best restaurant I have been to. The octopus appetizer and blackberry mojito is a must. We were lucky enough to try the red snapper and finished with the toffee dessert. Everything was perfection. This is a hidden gem I am so glad I found.

A hidden gem in Holly Hill. A small restaurant with very personalized service. We especially enjoyed the ham croquette appetizer, and two of our party went with the fish special of the day, a Mahi dish with either a mild curry sauce or a Mediterranean one based on olives, capers, and artichoke. Both were outstanding. We’ll be back.

The food is always amazing here. It is a great location for a date night, we did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy a nicely prepared dinner in a beautiful historic location. The service was as excellent as always and everyone who works there is very attentive to your every need.

YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH A MEAL HERE! We absolutely love the service, the food, the atmosphere and the love that chef puts into every meal. If you need help on what to get, order the octopus for an app. The pork dinner for an entree. And either the tres leches cake or sticky toffee for dessert. Honestly, the other meals are fantastic too so you can’t go wrong with what you order.

What a gem we have right here in Daytona. Big city quality without gouging you. We had a party of 5 at 7pm on Thursday. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and reminds me of being treated to a fabulous dinner at a mansion in Central America which, by chance, both I and my guests have both been in our earlier lives. Very few tables with high ceilings and just the right amount of sound with music and voices. Really comfortable. We had a couple drinks off the specialty cocktail menu including the añejo tequila old fashioned (wow, I had 2) and the Spanish margarita that was oh so tasty. We ordered the Spanish octopus and of course the pupusas. The octopus was the right consistency and was qué rico! The pupusas were small but over the top in taste served with two types of cabbage. I lived with an El Salvadoreñean family and these were better. Shhhh. For dinner, we shared the surf and turf ($75) and it was perfect. They split it for us beautifully. The filet was thick, tender, and generous (like my gf) (sorry) and the 2 petite lobsters were the right consistency and spiced perfectly. (Did not taste like they had been frozen like so many restaurants unfortunately serve for s&t). We paired the meal with a reasonably priced Cinsault from South Africa picked by the somm who was very patient with us. I should mention also that the wait staff was attentive but not obtrusive. (He was there when we needed and didn’t have to ask. He just knew.) Finally we ordered the sticky toffee pudding served with ice cream and my go to, tres leches. Both were gobbled up in a second. This is definitely a nice date place. However, I would call this (forgive me), a “foody’s restaurant” because most of your conversation will be how good everything tastes. My three guests were/are experienced chefs and they were very happy at the end of the night. Also, it’s not cheap, but you will get your moneys worth, hands down. Entrees we’re in the $30-45 range, appetizers in the $20s.
